The Painted Room did an excellent job painting my cabinets. It was a pleasure working with their team. Hannah was great at walking me through the options, color choices, and very responsive to my questions. The two painters, Ben and Larry, were personable, professional, and knowledgeable. I recommend and would happily use The Painted Room for future projects.

I would highly recommend the Painted Room to anyone. They are professional, always on time, good at communication and fair pricing for the beautiful work they do. Mikey and Trey were at my home and my husband felt so comfortable with them, he left them there and went to do errands. They have this cabinet painting service down to a fine art.

So far, they have been out one day to take the doors off and sand and prep the bases. They are coming back tomorrow to paint the bases. My impression is that the staff is very courteous, professional, and helpful in making decisions.

We are very pleased with how well our outdated oak cabinets turned out after The Painted Room was done with them! We worked with Christopher who got us a quick and affordable quote, and had Trey and Jay prep and paint on our cabinets. We chose the color Dorian Grey with a Cappuccino Glaze. Everyone was very professional and kind. I felt very comfortable leaving them to work, even while I was out of the house. We highly recommend The Painted Room!

This is the second time we used The Painted Room. They do a great job from start to finish. They have painted two bathrooms, two kitchens, and a laundry room for us. We are extremely happy with all the work they have done for us. They show up on time and while they are in your house they are very neat. If we had anything left to paint we would use them again. We highly recommend The Painted Room!

We are very pleased with the work so far. Ben and Jay did a very good job the first day taking doors off cabinets and the drawers; then sanded the rest and primed it. Today Mikie and Kirk came and did all the painting that had been sanded and primed. They were also very good and all four of them friendly and professional and hard workers. Can’t wait to see all the door and drawers when finished.

Mikey just left and I can’t stop looking at the bathroom vanities he did. They look awesome! It gave both bathrooms a big face lift. The entire process is so easy and non intrusive that I am going to have Painted Room do my kitchen cabinets now!

Pros: They were quick and efficient. I called several refinishing companies, and they were able to get to me on the schedule within a week or so (vs several months with others), and completed the job in about two weeks (other companies said the process would take 3+ weeks minimum). This was one of the main reasons we booked them despite being one of the higher bids for the job we received when getting quotes. They also sprayed two sample doors for us to take home and place in our space to help us decide on a color once we had narrowed it down. I really appreciated that! The employees were always on time and very kind and were a minimal disruption to our day. And they were pretty good about cleaning up after themselves at the end of the day.Cons: Overall, considering they were one of the higher bids, I expected a higher quality finished product. There are several areas with drips, rough paint, and clumps/bumps (like when your paint starts scabbing over as you near the end of a project and its been exposed to the air so long, or you pick up dirt in your brush). I DID address this concern to the painters and they assured me they would be sanding any problem areas between finish coats to ensure a smooth finish, however they never sanded and the rough spots remain. There are also a few areas that didnt get a second coat and so its too thin/has visible brush strokes, and you can see the original cabinet finish. Finally, when they originally reinstalled the drawer fronts they didnt use the original flat screws that were made for our specific drawer hardware (and that they had removed). Instead they used larger rounded screws (and only installed them in half of the brackets) and since they stuck out so far, they would hit the bases and chip the paint. They did send someone out to fix this issue when I asked, but he only replaced a few and the new screws used are too small and if it werent for the screws for the drawer pulls, the drawer fronts would fall off! I think he realized this and so the rest of the drawers still have the larger rounded top screws and he put rubber bumpers over them. This causes the drawers to not be flush with the cabinet doors since they cant close like theyre supposed to. For an almost $6k job, I think it is fair to expect a higher attention to detail.I would not recommend The Painted Room, and will be looking for a different company to use for the 2 other projects we have planned for later this summer.

There are a few spots that will need additional paint and is showing through, but I am using my customers tape to identify and let them know for February 2, 2021 when they put it all together. So excited! :)

Hired Painted Room to paint our Kitchen cabinets. So far they have prepped, painted and glazed the base cabinets. The doors and drawer fronts will be installed in the next few days. Thus far, they have been extremely professional and responsive. Very happy about the process! Looking forward to having the project completed. We would whole heartedly recommend The Painted Room to anyone considering a painting project.

The installer Trey was very neat. Got right to work and finish his job without any problems. I would highly recommend using The Painted Room to redo your kitchen cabinets. I can see a noticeable difference with just primer done today. I am excited to see the final finish caninets.

I have used Painted Room several times and I been very pleased with the finished products.

Initial job scheduled for late June and I had this date scheduled to start since March and the lady, Chris, that came out to give the estimate was great. I took the day off only to find out the night before the date was changed and I wasnt notified. The final price was $200 more than I was originally given. I was not advised of the additional $200 to paint underneath of the cabinets. I emailed to ask about this and got no response. I only knew because the final bill shows the fee. The finished job looks good and the gentlemen that came to do the work were very polite and friendly, but had I known of the issues I was going to have, I would have done things differently. It was a small job, so that may have played a factor in the lack of communication. While the cabinets look good, overall I am disappointed with the lack of interest to provide me with a good customer experience.

Trey was here early. Was efficient and focused. Work was done very professionally. Cleaned up after. Nice guy and hard worker. Had a small problem that was promptly resolved.
