Bart and his team run a tight ship. In and out in a jiffy. They have a wealth of knowledge and are eager to assist with any auto related issue you might have. From oil changes to tires, full on engine replacements, etc, they can do it for you.I would continue taking my vehicles there if only I was staying in Knoxville.

I brought a customers 2016 Toyota Tundra in for balance job due to shaking at 65mph. They said it was fixed so we picked the truck up. That afternoon on the interstate we noticed it was not fixed. Called and scheduled drop off for the following Monday and I asked to make sure it was driven to ensure it was fixed properly. They said no problem. Monday I go in and they said they would rebalance but they do not drive vehicles prior or after. They fixed it so I picked it up and immediately noticed it was shaking at 55mph now. I called and they said to bring it back yet again which could have been avoided if done properly. On top of that, whoever was in the truck stole a dollar in quarters out of the cupholder that was laying there for the customers nieces school fundraiser candy bars. So in the end National did not fix my issue and I guess they have a petty thief employed that values D3 from the vending machine and a can of Coke over future business.

We have taken our vehicles to National for years. They have installed tires for us as well as other family members. We have taken all of our vehicles in for services as well; such as oil changes, brake repair, etc. I have dealt with Terry and Bart on every occasion. These couldnt be any nicer. Polite, professional, very presentable (clean, appropriately dressed) and always willing to help.EVERY TIME I show up, they get my vehicle in immediately for the specified services and with minimal wait times. I recently had my Tundra towed to their shop for brake repair. I told them to take their time as I have other vehicles to drive and after all, it was a brake issue (extremely important component of any vehicle), it needs to be done right. Well, guess what, they had it a week and I didnt care because the job was completed and the brakes are better than they were before the issue arose. The bigger part is, THEY SAVED ME MONEY!This is the only shop that we will take our vehicles to for repair and diagnostics. HONEST, HARD WORKING, PROFESSIONAL individuals who actually care about their customers. They also stand and deliver every single visit. I cant say enough good things about this business and their team members. GREAT JOB EVERYONE! My wifes vehicle will go in next week for servicing. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Took a vehicle in for a pre-purchase inspection for which I was told it was in great condition except it needed a new timing belt. The car didn’t even have a belt, it had a chain. I don’t think they even looked at it but still charged me full price. Took it elsewhere for a second opinion and they found a torn axle boot, cracked drive belts, low and dirty fluid and air filters among other issues. I will never go back here.

The best Auto Tire and Battery in Knoxville. I needed a set of tires today, talked to Bart, told me to bring my car up now and they could get me in and out in about an hour. The price he gave me was $40.00 cheaper than the other guys. And yes it was done and ready to go in about an hour. I will be back.

Do not do any business with these people they try to strong arm the auto places to lower their prices. I was in a certain auto part store when I heard that these people were trying to get 2 rotors for $20!So if theyre getting their parts so cheap they should be able to do the job cheaper right? Nope I talked to a person about replacing my transmission. $2000 for a used transmission I could bought a new one and have someone put it in for less than that.

Terry and everyone at National provide the best service, are so quick and are always professionals. Dealing with car maintenance is not my favorite thing, they always take care of me and give me peace of mind. I will never go anywhere else for tires!

I have had many good experiences here. The staff is friendly, especially if you have a good attitude. They shoot straight and have reasonable prices. My goto place for wheels, tires and alignments. I have had a couple issues over the years, but they were related to the products, not the service or the people.

I am a mother of 3 and and I dont have any car repair knowledge. I called frantic about my car not sure where to turn to. The man who took my call was very friendly and helpful. He gave me very good advice and let me know which option would be easier ifmonwy wise on me. That stands out to me. In a world full of greed and dishonesty I appreciate an honest answer. Dont take your vehicle here. I had mine towed here, would not start. Anyway, they said we needed a battery. Fine, we done that, went and paid them 202.00, got in my car and the power windows did not work, very hot outside to..no air conditioning , no radio, no inside lights, no door locks, anyway,they had no idea as to why...would cost another 100.00 about to check it out !!! It worked before it went to them!!!! I told him I was on a fixed income and could not afford anything else. They are awful to do people this way! Caught them in 2 lies also..One day they will have to answer for what they do. *****Adding to this, took it to Dons on Western Avenue, he looked at it, checked the fuse and put one in and it was only 25.00!! Problem fixed!! Just a matter of minutes!!! I highly recommend Dons!!!!

It took 3 days for them to tell me they couldnt figure out what was wrong with my car. But they just charged me for the diagnostics which wasnt too horribly expensive.

It is very refreshing in todays society to find such honest, friendly people in the auto repair business. Im not sure what stands out more in my mind, that they saved me hundreds of dollars compared to dealership repair prices (same brand parts & labor) or that I left there feeling like I had made new friends. Superb service, quality repair, affordable prices!

These guys are great. They installed some Goodyear tires for far less than others were quoting and since then I have had them do work on my vehicles and they were quick and the prices are reasonable and it was fixed right the first time. Very friendly staff.

I have been a customer since 2006 and have driven each of my cars well over 200,000 miles with only regular maintenance. They are super friendly and when I decided on my last car, I brought it to them to look it over for me before I committed. Before I drive cross country, I have them look it over just because Iknow they wont take advantage of me. I moved to Nashville recently and schedule my regular maintenance to coincide with when I happen to pass through Knoxville, just because of how honest their work is.

Have been going here for years. I have purchased many sets of tires, as well as some engine work. Was a great feeling when I took my sons car in for an oil leak and they called with preliminary findings of what they believed the trouble to be but asked me to give them to the following day to dig deeper. It was refreshing to receive the call the following day to tell me that it wasnt going to cost as much as they thought, nor did it need as much work as originally believed. I can assure you that you will leave with confidence in the work provided and not feel ripped off. Honest bunch of people! Terry and Pete kept me up to date throughout the repair and were very respectful.

Ive usually had great experiences here other than the agonizing wait time even for something as simple as an oil change. I came here a month or so ago to get a second opinion from them on a rack and pinion. I was having some violent shaking. They told me I needed new tires and rims which I bought but the vibration was still there. I was told previously that it was my rack, but national said that it was not just worn bushings. Pete is an awesome guy and tries to go above and beyond to make sure a customer is satified. I would rate this shop a 5 but they need to work on their scheduling to make sure your not waiting over an hr and a half on an oil change. Also they need better communication from the mechanics to the service desk. Thats my only complaint with this shop.....great prices great work and great people

Broke a few things on my car and said it was already like that !!! 2 -3 months after this work something else went wrong with it , I call them to ask about getting it in to be looked at and they want to bring this post up and told me if I would retract it they could work with me on fixing my car. Thats not how you do business. I would think they would do anything to change my view of the way they do things !! Im not happy ! But some people are ????

Ok for tires but dont have your vehicle worked on there. They tried to sale me a battery when my transmission light came on even though I explained to them that I had bought a battery 5 months before. They checked my brakes and told me 240 for them because I needed rotors and pads. I had just started losing a little pedal in the brakes. Why would I need rotors too. I ended up paying 140 for an oil change.Took my car to Reeders and was told my oil wasnt even changed. The coil needed replaced. I should have went there to begin with. BTW they turned the rotors you guys said couldnt be turned.

Do not go here !!!Will over charge you for work, then when you call and tell them about an issue with the repair they act appalled. Didnt put my bumper back on all the way then said it was like that when it was brought in which it absolutely was not !They stripped body clips in the fender well and didnt want to replace them. Ridiculous!

I had a remanufactured Jasper engine installed by this facility and was very happy with the service I received. The installation was done quickly and professionally. No complaints from me. I would not hesitate to take my other cars to them for service.

I have trusted this place for over four years to give me an extremely fair quote for repairs. To say the least - I had an alternator replaced on a 97 corolla for around 80 dollars. My bills have always been amazing and its just blown my mind when I hear other people telling me that some other guy quoted them something much much more.

The owner of this place acted like an unbelievably rude and nasty person to me. I do charity work for a well known, nationally registered charity organization that helps very sick people. Part of my duties include talking to owners and managers at different store locations. When I went into National Auto Parts & Service at 4733 Clinton Hwy, the owner said some very nasty words to me that I choose not to repeat and told me to get out of his store. I think a person who acts this way is simply reflecting what is on the inside of them self and I will never return to this place again, much less would I ever trust these people to work on my car. Someone who acts this way is showing their true colors. For the owner of a business to act this way is reflective over the entire organization.

Was quoted 150 for turning rotors and brake pads was told $250 for new rotors charged me $25 to look at my brakes when their sign plainly says free brake inspection. Wouldnt even give us a ride 5 minutes away to eat lunch while we waited. Over$100 for changing spark plugs! Needless to say we didnt take them up on any of their services. The old bait and switch. Do not come here.Update ..we bought two brand new rotors for $60 and the brake pads for $25 local repair shop putting them on for 75$. But your not price gouging. I forgot to note earlier that they quoted us tune up for 4 cylinder car was $194 plus tax .... what????? Lol
