Michaels is great our new improved one here in Turkey creek lives up to the hype everything and more im an artist and if i could afford to shop more i would believe me its everything you can imagine and even more! I appreciate that its sticks to being an arts and crafts store they dont do the furniture home decorating as much as Hobby Lobby does but I love them both it would be like comparing my children i do think Michaels is a little more expensive thats the only negative and it is less crowded than competitors because its tucked in off the main chaotic drag of turkey creek traffic go enjoy and create!

Can not give a honest rating. List of items we were looking for. But I only found a few of them. Instead of waiting in line, I chose to go to another store that I could get all the items at one time. The store was clean and shelves were stocked.

On Saturday me and my mom were just walking in when she collapsed. Myah (sorry if I am spelling it incorrect) was incredibly helpful when other customers couldn’t stop to even call 911. Her and two customers helped get her something to sit on and directed the ambulance and firefighters. She is an incredibly kind young woman. On top of that, I eventually returned and she not only remembered me but helped me with everything. Thank you.

Great selection of products and deals! The aisles are organized with like product placement. The store is very well kept and appealing. Associates are very friendly and willing to help customers.

BEWARE small business owners!When ordering in bulk online, you CANNOT return to the store when you are sent the wrong item... Even though it says online - and even on your receipt that you can!I was forced to drive to the store... and then back home, under unsafe conditions because this enormous container is not meant to be transported in anything other than a large delivery vehicle.And Aaron, the manager at the Turkey Creek location could not care less about his customers.

If Michaels does not have it, you may as well go online to order, as roaming around from store to store in this overpopulated community with way too much traffic will just shatter your desire to begin or finish your project. Michaels is clean and, unlike Jo Anns, you can find a store representative to help you and the check-out process is faster.

Susan is masterful and a true artist at her craft. We had a very large map that she framed for us and we couldnt be more happy with the results.

Great variety of craft supplies, seasonal items, and organization tools. There were a lot of out of stock items, and it can be hard to know what to expect with seasonal stock. But still definitely one of my go-to places.

My go-to place for acrylic painting supplies! Great selection of brushes, paints, canvas, palettes, and more (for oils and watercolors also). They have student, artist, and professional grades. I could spend hours in there... Days even!!!

I stopped in to get a few things, stock was very low or non-existent. I didnt find anything I was actually looking for, but did get a couple of sale items. Staff was nice at checkout but I didnt see anyone on the floor to ask for help. Not my favorite place.

Make sure you call to see what time theyre Actually closing if youre planning on going close to their posted closing time. Ive been there twice and found that they randomly closed 2-3 hours prior to their posted time. Other than that its your typical craft store.

Not a huge selection of yarn. Really miss AC Moore.

Ive been there several times when I select items on sale with sign on shelf saying buy one - get one free except at the cash register, its not honored. Most recent example was buying canvas frames.Staple back canvas is apparently a trademark that is meant to throw people off and only applies to some of their staple back canvases.Have also run into this with artist pencils, storage cabinets, even after reading their fine print.

Nine days before Easter and Easter items on shelves are bare. Wanted to buy 2 spring wreaths and there were none. Left empty handed.

I’m from GA & I shopped at Michael’s every other day. I absolutely loved my Michaels in Atlanta. Everyone knew me by name and was always so helpful. Then I moved to Tennessee & I’m having a hard time finding a michaels store that I can call home. It most certainly is not this specific store.I Called to see if they had Resin in stock because I live so far from the store. A lady answered and said “we normally have it in stock but I have no clue if we have it right now, let me see if someone can check”... she then placed me on hold for about 10-15 minutes. No one ever came back to the phone, Then I got hung up on.I called back 3 times. One time, someone picked up the phone, then hung it up. They didn’t say anything. The other two times, the phone just rang and rang until a voice memo came on and said “no one is available to take your call. Goodbye.” Then hung up on me.I will be going to Hobby Lobby instead, where their customer service is always amazing & everyone is kind to me.

The framing staff is amazing. I brought in 2 rolled canvases and their respective stretchers. They remounted them and they turned out fantastic. Very pleased.

My experience at Michaels has always been pleasant. I just love their items and could look around for hours. The only thing I would like to mention though would be them not having enough registers open. Other than that... its a great store!

This particular store has a very nice layout with a large selection of diverse product. The staff is especially helpful and outgoing. Their regularly priced items are overvalued, but thats what their coupons are for I guess. Plenty of parking.

Its Michaels what do you expect? Arts and crafts of every kind... plus some. It was a little too packed for my taste with rows of everything crafty you could imagine. Everything I needed they had in tenfold.

They don’t have as much inventory as Hobby Lobby or Joanns, but they have great deals!

I have been calling around to find my grandmother a boston terrier ornament they said they had some..when i got down there they only had 1 and it was the do it yourself i drove over 30 mins to go buy it..to find out it was a DIY project...a little disappointed

I always love shopping here. Good customer service, clean, neat, organized. There are only 2 things I would say were negatives. One, I never see a sale on polymer clay. The other is that I bought some raw ceramic Christmas gingerbread houses to paint with my boys, and the cashier was throwing them in thre bag with it any packing material or care, so they clanked and I had to make sure they werent broken. She was probably new for the holidays. Anyway, she heeded my input and was more careful with the others.

I have to say im not a regular shopper of Michaels, but I brought my daughter here for some crafting supplies and they have a large selection of all your crafting and art needs!!! They had great prices and dont forget to check the website for daily coupons!

I love their variety and prices but the vivid 29 virus has made it a challenge get and the store has alot on clearance.

This is a good sized Michaels. They have a very good selection, and its tidy too. Their employees are polite and helpful without being too pushy about sales.

Great to be back into stores, staff ready to help and plenty of customers on a Saturday afternoon, did not look like any sort of stock problem enjoy your hobbies and stop in.

This store is an absolute mess. There is merchandise all over the floors. Item I purchased was different price than what was on the shelf. Clerk said it was in the wrong place. But, I think everything was in the wrong place. Total mess!

I was very pleased with Michaels employees. We couldnt find what we were looking for in the turkey Creek Michaels store. We ask the lady behind the corner. She came right out from behind and said I ll take u right were it it. Also took the time to see if we need and more help with anything. Awesome job made me feel very welcome. Would love to see a Michaels in the East side of Knoxville Tennessee. We have no craft store here. We have a small Joanna. But it would be awesome to have a Michaels.

So much to choose from!! Everything you could need to make/craft almost anything. Thanks wouldnt recommend thinking you could just go in for a quick visit, way too much to look at. Plan on spending some time to look around. Selection is awesome, prices are somewhat reasonable.

Crafting Mecca! Theres a little something for everyone. They had some great end of season sales going on. The only downside was the limited variety of thread colors.

I have never gone to a Michaels looking for something specific and not found it. All different paints, crafts, and frames. Great chain, and this store is no different.

Decent art supplies in a pinch, but I visited during COVID #2020. Masks arent required. No occupancy limits. Checked out Jerrys Artarama later in the week. At least for paint, brushes, and other art and model supplies Jerrys had a better selection and better prices. They also had hand sanitizer, required masks, and limited to five customers. Jerrys is definitely better if youre looking to paint.

Great store and very well organized. The staff is super helpful. Their buy online, pick up in store is awesome. You can get your in stock items in an hour or so! I had a huge online order and the associate who retrieved it was incredibly patient and friendly. Although its a bit out of the way for me, I choose this location over other craft stores that are more conveniently located for me. They also always have great coupons and sales. Michaels is always a good choice.

Its finally open & they have lots of great deals, but the check-out was long & slow.
