I needed help with a refrigerator problem. The issue was resolved quickly and the employees were courteous and personable. We especially enjoyed talking with Vic as he explained how their business is operated. Thank you so much for your help.

We bought a washer from here. We started having issues almost immediately. Thankfully we got a warranty. It took 3 months for them tofix the problem the first time. It took a month to get them back out to look at it again. And over a month again for them to get the past and schedule a repair. When you call and ask about it you get attitude and hung up on. At this point I wish I would of just bought it from home Depot. If I could return it and get my money back I would on a heartbeat. Please dont waste your time or your money.

Great place to do business with, and way better service than the big box guys. Had an issue with the oven and they sent Mark Russell, a real professional. He showed up on time to evaluate the oven and had the part in his vehicle and fixed it the same day. They do care, and that is why they have been in business since 1965.

Although I had heard wonderful things about Pattersons since we moved to the area in 2004, I visited a store recently when I needed a new washer and dryer. The experience was wonderful and George Thompson spent a great deal of time showing me various options and discussing possible delivery dates. I am sure that the rest of visits will go equally well and I know that the new appliances form there will be wonderful.

George Thompson at Pattersons made buying a new washer and dryer as easy as possible!! He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions honestly and with a smile. After discovering that the washer we wanted was backordered George suggested that we have one of their guys come look at our dead washer to see if it could be fixed cheaply enough to get us through until the new one came. Well George was right- Matt just left and for $100 total was able to bring the washer back to life. I would absolutely recommend these folks to anyone who appreciates great customer service, wants to shop local, and needs the peace of mind that comes from knowing that if you have a problem there is someone to call. Oh, and the prices were comparable to the big box stores!!!

Weve been aware of Pattersons for years, having purchased parts from them previously and from recommendations from friends. We needed to replace our washer and dryer so we decided to give Pattersons a look. We will never purchase an appliance again without first visiting Pattersons. George Thompson was our salesman and his knowledge of the product and overall knowledge of how to improve our washing experience was exceptional. My daughter ordered a refrigerator from them in June due for delivery in July. Their delivery date came and went with no call from Patterson’s to let them know it wasn’t going to be there or any updates. They called and were given another date and again nothing. They called again and were told there were 11 more customer orders ahead of theirs. First time they had heard that not that it should have made a difference and was told it would be in November sometimes. Saturday they called and cancelled their order because Patterson’s customer service is non existent. They didn’t even seem to care that the order was cancelled and just told them they would mail out their refund. I do not see how a local 50 year company can run their business like this. I felt bad because I had recommended they try Patterson’s to purchase their new refrigerator. Never again.

We were so pleased with Pattersons Home Appliances after purchasing a washer and dryer that we went back and ordered a refrigerator from them also. George Thompson and Russ Limburg were the salesmen we worked with. They were knowledgeable and friendly and answered all our questions. The delivery men were quick and efficient and spent the time to show us how the washer and dryer worked. We were glad to know the delivery men work for Pattersons and are not a third party vendor so we expect we will get the same great service when the refrigerator is delivered. My refrigerator decided to stop working in the middle of the night. Pattersons to the rescue. My parents, sister and I have done business with Pattersons for years because they are always reliable and trustworthy and sell dependable products. They may have great customer service in their store but they have lousy parts service over the phone. I called a couple of weeks ago to order a part for my washing machine and the guy in the parts department told me that because it may cost me 3-5 dollars to ship my item that he suggests I order it from some other source. I tried to insist that they sell me the item but he re-insisted that I go thru some other source. How many sales is this dip sht costing them per year as he has worked the parts dept. for about seven years. The difference was about 12 dollars thru Amazon.

Great place for used appliances and parts

Very disappointed in this local establishment. Went in looking for a basic dishwasher. We went to the storefront on the left as you look at then 2 first. Evidently thats the high end store. We explained what we were looking for and were told wed need to go to the other store front for the mid to lower end washers. The guy in the second lower end section was less than helpful and actually made a face when I asked for a brochure. He was less than interested in helping us and I took that as my cue to take my business elsewhere. I was hoping to keep my business with a locally own business but not if that is how they were going to treat us starting out. Look elsewhere is my suggestion.

My wife and I purchased new appliances for our new home. We had excellent service from sale to installation. And the appliances we bought look and work perfectly. My family had just moved into town, and we were in need of a washer and dryer. As soon as I walked in, Josh greeted me with a warm welcome. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. We were able to have the washer and dryer delivered very expediently. Keith and Thomas showed up right on time(I appreciated the heads-up call beforehand), and installed with zero issues. I can’t recommend this establishment enough! I will definitely do business again. Go Gators!

From now on, all of our appliances will be bought from Pattersons. I looked at what I wanted on the Pattersons website after looking at the big box stores. I called the store and told Brittany what I was looking for and she helped me through the process. She wasnt pushy at all. The washer and dryer were delivered by Pattersons for a very nominal fee, installed, and the guys even stayed with me to make sure both were working and showed me how each setting worked. The fact that Pattersons has their own people doing the delivery and installation, and more importantly, their own repairs (not subcontracted out) makes dealing with them even more of a reason to buy only from them. We are their customer for life! Great job!

My wife and I have been loyal customers of Patterson for many years. I telephoned on a warranty repair in early November for a refrigerator that I bought from Patterson, I paid $99.95 for the warranty. I thought that my loyalty would result in decent customer service. I called them in late October. Technician came November 6 and said a part needed to be ordered. I never heard back from Patterson so I telephoned in late November and on December 8. On December 8, I was told that the part just came in and scheduled an appointment for December 10. Patterson said they would come between 10 and 12. I followed up at noon with Brittany and at 1:30 with Cody, TJ and John. It is 2:15 and the technician is still not here. If this is how Patterson treats a loyal customer, it makes me wonder how they will treat you.I sent an e-mail to Sarah at 3:15 p.m. and included my telephone number. I have not heard back.After my prior review, my wife received a telephone call from Billy. Billy said that Patterson discovered that the part for the refrigerator was broken when the part was put on the truck this morning. It made me wonder why no one told my wife and me this morning that the part that we had been waiting for almost five weeks was broken. It made my wonder why the part was not checked before the appointment was scheduled. So Patterson made us wait for five hours because no one was able or willing to tell us that the part was broken. It did explain why two of the people that I talked with earlier said that no one from Patterson was able reach the technician to give an update about when the technician would come. It is now 4:30 p.m.

Harlin was our salesman, and he was straight forward and diligent with his followup throughout the day to take care of us. We (as of of writing this review) are very satisfied and waiting on the arrival of our washer. This is where small biz exceeds larger companies with ease. Good person to person service, and honesty, these guys dont work on commission, so they have nothing to gain from false info. Also, they offer warranties that big stores cant offer, and it IS very worth it. Ask for details, it was the biggest selling point for us.

I have only bought parts to repair my appliances from Pattersons but they have always had what I needed at reasonable prices.

I bought a refrigerator with help from Arthur. I was to be last delivery. Friday at 8 am I receive call from delivery he says Im first. I told him I did not get off till 11am was told I was going to be last. He said I need to be home by 9am or reschedule for following Friday. I left work, lost 3 hours pay. The refrigerator was wrong, I was to have glass shelves, not wire. I called Arthur he said I was to be last deliver and have glass shelves. He said he would call me back later. Here it is 7pm, still no call. I am very upset. CANCEL THIS ORDER AND PICK UP.

I left the store amazed that anyone would deal with them and no part. I had the part ordered from Amazon with 2 day delivery before I left their parking lot.

Our dryer stopped blowing hot air. My wife went to Pattersons to see what could be done. To their credit they did not try to sell her a new dryer, but instead explained the two likely causes. I went there later and Harlon McBride showed me what the inside of the dryer looked like, and what part I needed to take out and bring in for testing. I removed the part - it was annoying but not difficult - and Mr. McBride tested it and told me the heating element was shot. For $43 I bought a replacement, Mr. McBride having shown me how to remove the old part and replace it with the new one. Getting the piece in which the element was placed back into the dryer was also frustrating, but I succeeded. I made one last trip to Pattersons to for reassurance on where the many wires went, which Mr. McBride provided me. I returned home, plugged the wires in, plugged in the dryer and started it. It worked! Our dryer is fully functional at a minimal cost to us. Pattersons impressed us both as somewhere where they want to help you, not just sell you stuff. While we do not know when we will be buying new appliances, we do know where.

I bought a KitchenAid dishwasher there and 14 months later it began to give me problems. The dishwasher was around 1500.00 dollars and the lady I worked with told me to not do the warranty through The mfg rather they would hold the warranty. I called them when the issue started and the lady I talked to on the phone would only repeat over and over that the appliance was out of warranty 8 weeks. She displayed zero concern about the issue I was experiencing with their product.

The delivery was on time & very professionally handled! The men were courteous & helped me figure out why my outside refrigerator wasn’t working- happened to be the gfi reset!

I had to buy a new over the range microwave and the staff was very knowledgeable about fixing old one vs. buying new one. I was in a time crunch to get it installed and they were very accommodating. The tech came to install it and was in and out in about 45 minutes.

My Experience with Patterson Appliance and Arthur Gage rises to the top of any experience I have ever had with a retailer.My problem was with a very noisy Maytag washer. I dealt with this noise for 4 weeks. I called Maytag corporate office and they sent a outsourced repair company to check on the problem. They told me that was the way the new washers sound.I then called Arthur at Patterson and explained my problem. He also sent his repair team and they told me about the same answer. How-ever Arthur wanted to make sure I was satisfied. He agreed and understood my problem. He Replaced the Maytag washer with an upgrade Whirlpool. Free Delivery. We used Pattersons when we bought our new house 2-1/2 years. We bought Kitchenaid gas range, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Overpriced appliances, staff was looking at home Depot prices so that they could match price me a better deal. Not exactly the best place to go, unless you want to pay an arm and a leg. On the bright side, their display room looked nice.

I bought a dishwasher on the 22nd of March, that was in stock. Its now the 27th and still no call to set up the install. I bought her because of the reputation and I wanted to buy local. Ive called 3 times today to see about my install, only to be told well check and get back with you. No word as of 4:00. I feel I should have gone to Home Depot. At least they make a point to call and set up installs within a day of purchase. Very disappointed with this level of service. I hope they use this to improve their customer service.Follow up to my review. Once they scheduled the delivery, the knowledge and friendliness was what you want from a local business. Ill shop here again.

The customer service at the store was exceptional. However, waited over two months for a microwave to arrive. During the wait, there was no communication or updates.When the microwave FINALLY arrived, two installers came to install the microwave, but immediately claimed they could not install due to cabinet woodwork / trim. After already waiting over 2 months, I refused to wait any longer, and insisted on a refund.The people are nice, but the experience was HORRIBLE.

Had very good experience few months ago..talked to one person..got part in seconds flat..this time around went in because of washer issues..told me what part was causing issue..then low and behold..it didnt work..35 bucks down the drain..I call 10 times they FINALLY answer and give me run around..long story short they sold me part had nothing to do with my problem because part I probably needed was ten times less..next time..I WONT jump the gun to go to Pattersons Home Appliance..its a shame I can go in 5 min before close and get exellent service..then go in at 10am and get strait up lied to WITH ATTITUDE..no less..with a store full of employees..obviously they needed the money more than me
