My Experience Was Great Quality Of Furniture Yes Its Pricey But The Furniture Is Long Lasting I Love The Ashley Furniture Line

Call the Kinston store pertaining to my delivery. Melissa was very rude, then she put disrespectful talking Sandra on the phone. I’m trying to explain my concern and apparently Terrance had got my delivery days screwed up, which was ok with me. I had already been waiting patiently since June 9th for my paid in full living room set, so waiting another week would have been fine had I not been disrespected, But what hurt me more than anything for Sandra to say that apparently Terrance has a disability since he couldnt get my deliver right. I informed Sandra numerous occasions throughout the conversation that she offended me. However, Sandra kept on saying that Terrance must be disabled if he couldn’t get it right. I told her she should not be talking about an employee like that. If she feels that way, then why should people go and shop there. This is still bothering me to the max and it happened on Friday. By the way, Sandra nor Melissa you do not need to forward me corporate number on this review as I see you all are doing because you all are well aware, I’ve contacted Corporate already. Terrance and the other men that work there great customer service.

The NEW MATTRESS THAT HAS NOT BEEN USED is way too small and nothing like the “queen” models they show in store. It WAS JUST DELIVERED and cannot be slept on. They will not exchange it even though they were contacted the day they reopened and customer service told us the first time we called they do exchange beds. There is nothing used. There’s an exchange policy listed for online orders and nowhere in that policy does it state mattresses are excluded... it states items will be inspected upon return. We have been sleeping on our old bed and left the new bed exactly as is while waiting for a resolution because the delivery person wasn’t about to take it back with them so what choice did we have? Once it it in your home they claim it is used?? Sleep number and surrounding stores will and have done bed exchanges that were actually slept on. They told us the waterproof mattress cover would be good enough to protect the bed anyway even if it had been slept on. But it wasn’t and they had us buy something online via their store with lies. I had an amazing experience at the store. I was helped by Tim Grange from the second I stepped into the store to the second I left. He was incredibly well informed about all the product and was very helpful in helping me find not only the best deal, but also the best couch that would suit my needs. You could tell he enjoys what he does. If you get the chance to shop at the Outlet store be sure to ask for his help, you wont be let down.

My spouse and I waited for hours to receive help and still had to return another day to finish a transaction. The transaction took hours as well with constant errors being made in paperwork. The item arrived and was not as described. Store would not take back because they consider something to be used the second it is delivered to the house. If you want a company that will be concerned with the customers happiness make sure to go to other furniture stores that will exchange or refund items if the customer is not happy with the quality, condition, or size of something they were not able to see except in a picture. Other stores will even exchange items you did try in store but didn’t like once they were in your home. And they change the reason why they won’t honor exchanges with each person that is talked to.

The absolute worst store and chain to do business with. They couldn’t care less if the customer is happy. They give inaccurate information and stick customers with online orders that should have the same exchange guarantee as if the customer ordered it from the site themselves. Will never do business with this chain ever again. Monks furniture cares about their customers and go above and beyond. If you’re looking for a bed even sleep number goes above and beyond for their customers. Not this company.

Terrence helped us locate our furniture. He was extremely professional and had a great attitude. The best thing about him was how personable he was. He showed up several designs on a monitor because what we wanted wasn’t on the floor. Terrence is an outstanding employee.

My wife and I came in for a nightstand, they price matched and we got a great deal. Unfortunately they weren’t able to get the nightstand. The issue that I have is that instead of calling to let us know that they didn’t have it I had to call to figure out what was going on. I just wish they would have been more communication on their end. Besides that they have good prices, and the salesman Dan was friendly and not pushy at all.

Did my research online using the Ashley Home Store website. Tim Grange helped us when we came to the New Bern store. He was very professional in assisting us with finding the items we were looking for. He explained all the options to us and we are very satisfied with experience.

The worst customer service experience in my life. I’ve never come across a furniture company that didn’t care about customer satisfaction until now. Furniture is an expensive investment and keeping a customer happy will guarantee they choose your chain every time. Ashley furniture does not care.

Very wide variety. people are very nice, quick delivery, my only real complaint is the smell of smoke not sure if someone is or was smoking in or outside the ware house but we could smell it everywhere. Everyone does NOT enjoy the smell of cigarette/weed smoke maybe wait till after work or smoke off property or at the very least don’t smoke at the entrance/exits same goes for if your going to interact with customers. Cigarette smoke to a non smoker smells like body Oder and a dirty diaper if you don’t know what that smells like well it’s not good.

Jordan and staff is awesome! We went looking for a twin mattress for our son and ended up leaving with much more all for a awesome price! Great furniture and great prices! Will definitely be going back for future purchases.

Furniture was broke when arrived to the house. Didn’t realize till after delivery men left. Contacted Tiffany to see about returning it. Said she would get back to us and now avoiding our calls. Furniture is cheap. Once furniture is paid for they do not care about you anymore. If it breaks they do not care to make it right. Oh well, word of mouth spreads fast

Seen us and didnt greet us at entrance. Carry on with their business, so ready to take a smoke break. Still walking around, and still no greeting, but seen another couple and they got greeted with with the ones who seen us. Was looking to buy a few furniture, but after that, felt like we can go somewhere else. Terrance was the only one who answer our questions.

We had fun today. It was HOT and miserable but Daniel made shopping fun and he totally went beyond the extra mile. He literally carried furniture across the warehouse so my mom could see the living room put together. Will definitely shop again.

I took my step-daughter shopping for her first bedroom set this weekend and we were helped by Kayla, who was absolutely wonderful. She patiently worked with us and explained everything as my step-daughter made her mind up. This will be my first stop for future furniture purchases, and Kayla will be my first choice for saleswoman.The only reason this isnt 5 stars and the only issue we had while there was due to a different sales rep. Its 90 degrees in the shade right now, and theres not much in the way of a breeze in the building. After we had made our selections, Kayla led us into an air conditioned waiting room with 2 chairs to sit in while the invoice was drawn up and we paid. Another employee walks in and proceeds to repeatedly tell her, in front of us, that we cant be in there and need to leave. She handled it very professionally and got us to another area where he didnt bother us while she finished up the paperwork, but not before we see that he has kicked us out to allow other customers in so they could sit. I wont go into detail, but the way it went down and the customers that were allowed to sit in the AC made the whole issue seem pretty homophobic/racist. I didnt ask this employees name, although I wish I had, but that was the one bad spot on an otherwise wonderful shopping experience. As long as I can avoid that guy, Ill keep coming back and buying from Kayla.

After losing all my furniture in the flood I was heartbroken to have to replace it all. James Edelen was patient, sympathetic and helped me replace every room Id lost. He was professional, personable and didnt try to oversell anything. He got me a great deal and made feel so much better about everything. Its nice to know genuine people like that really exist.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience! The manager Daniel is top-notch👍🏼 I gave him my budget and he helped me get the most for my money. Highly recommend!

We went here to replace our mattress and was helped by Kayla. We were unsure of what was out there but Kaylas knowledge of all the products helped us find the perfect replacement and then some. We were grateful for such a pleasant and professional experience! I will come back to work with Kayla on future furniture purchases!

Furniture is extremely cheap! Bought 3 pieces and 2 had springs broken once arrived at our house. Lay back in the furniture only to feel and hear a loud pop. We called our sales lady Tiffany within 24 hours of receiving the furniture to see about returning it. She said she would get back with us and then avoided my calls ever since. Seems similar to used car dealership.

I was hunting for a Dining Table that would seat 8. Everywhere I went it was something I would need to order. I saw this place and stopped in and they had 3 to choose from and I could take it with me. It was a little pricy but when I got home I realized how solid the wood was. I am very excited I found this place. All 4 people working helped us load it into the trailer and we are on it that night. Thank you Daniel!! I will be back!

This warehouse has lots of furniture that was wrongly ordered, cancelled order, or slightly damaged. The prices are as-is and you can take it home that day. The deals are excellent, and the staff is friendly.

It’s been one day since I got my mattress and it’s one of the Hard mattress that I’ve ever been in and The mattress is supposed to be firm but it doesn’t even take the shape of your body and they won’t even give me a Return or exchange can’t even sleep in it

I purchased items for my living room, couch, loveseat, 2 tables & a nice recliner. I spent a good while there asking many questions, which did not bother my salesman, Frank Tilghman. He was very helpful and thorough. Ive had my items for almost a month now and really like it! I would definitely recommed stopping in.
