The history here is amazing but the prices are ridiculous. I wanted some type of souvenir but even just a cap was $30. Staff was friendly and the facility was spotless. I wish they carried tack, though. I went there for a breast harness and all they had was clothing and handbags.

What a great store ordered my son two things for Xmas he already had them. I was past 60 day return policy I called there Houston store to help. Noel was amazing he had me send the online return to his store and then he called to tell me he received it and credited my account. He was so helpful love this store would recommend this store to everyone.

I am kinda disappointed I went to the shop which was a good experience but got disappointed when the purse I bought was 25 percent discounted on line. It was Black Friday and somehow I felt they should of let me know. We are all trying to make save some money somehow-covid has been tuff. I emailed them twice for some kind of response but I guess I don’t matter. I’ll think twice about a future purchase with them😪

Wow. Great history and great products. Take a look at the $2000 cowboy hat. 500x. See where saddles were made that are used on the ranch. Some great leather products produced locally.
Friendly staff is a plus in my book. The food is great and did not take a long time to start eating. We all order the food at same time and every order came all at once. Thats the reason i always come back!
It smelled amazing when we walked in the door! Beautiful little leather shop full of high quality, high priced merchandise. If you want to go and just look there are many things to look at. If you are going there to shop be sure to take a WAD of cash. You will not get anything for a small price. I found many things I would love to have bought. The boot selection was great. Clothing was nice and many many leather goods of course!

Attractive store, polite and knowledgeable clerks who were all eager to help. The store was clean, cool with quality apparel/merchandise. They have a center-shop where you can watch their craftsmen make or rebuild saddles, however they werent working the Saturday we were there. My only complaint was limited parking and a bit high price-wise, but otherwise very nice.

The online experience is HORRIBLE! I ordered two items for my husband before Christmas. The box came and I assumed both items were included, because I heard nothing from the store. I discovered on Monday, Dec. 23, that one of the items - of course the more important one - was missing. I tried calling that day, only to be informed customer service was out for the entire week for the holiday. Imagine a retail stores entire customer service team leaving BEFORE Christmas! I just today (Jan. 9) received an email informing me my item is on backorder. Ridiculous and shameful! Stick to your brick and mortar store and leave the ecommerce to the companies who make an attempt to be successful at it.
You must go here if in the area. It is a must. High quality goods and a hoot of a place to browse in. We go in just to see the displays and always find something we have to have. Not just saddles! They should rename this place to Everything For Cowboys that Regular Folks Want and Find Fascinating. Its true! Just go in....
This shop has high quality merchandise. Their staff is friendly and their saddle shop performs high quality work. I would state that this shop definitely represents the King Ranch and there standard of what quality in workmanship is all about.
Well worth the visit. We saw all sorts of wild life, from deer to javelina pigs.

Didnt get a welcome or offered any help like everyone else that walked in. The prices are super expensive even for a shot glass and a simple, small bead necklace. My husband bought a cap, but I couldnt bring myself to spend my money here for poor service after making it a point to go out of our way to visit when going to the valley from Houston.

A long time fan and customer of the original store but it seems their customer service has changed. Bought a shirt there as I have many times, same size as usual and tried it on at home, did not fit so called and mailed back per their request for exchange. They called two weeks after I mailed it and said it smelled like colone which I don’t where and could not exchange the shirt. Mgr “Liz Garza” called me back. In my opinion, she preferred to push off a long time customer over a shirt rather than give me any benefit of doubt. So if I was to try it on in the store and my deodorant rubbed off they would throw it away?I have purchased almost every piece of luggage they sell and expensive purses but apparently the charm of the store has changed and don’t need easy money customers like myself.
This is a retail outlet for the King Ranch but still theres a lot of history in there its a beautiful place on the inside its a must see if youre in Kingsville Texas. The store is clean and the staff is friendly

BUYER BEWARE! I ordered 3 bottles of Leather Conditioner plus the KR Catalog. The KR Catalog arrived in a shipping envelope along with a pick ticket for the 3 bottles of leather conditioner, but no leather conditioner. After 30 days of emails regarding the no shipment, today Dec. 22, 2014 they sent an email stating the tracking number and stating it shows as being delivered.No it was not delivered, the KR shipping folks or the shipping company screwed up, but it was not delivered. No recourse, just too bad, so BUYER BEWARE, THEY WILL NOT STAND UP AND DO WHAT IS RIGHT. I AM SORRY I HAVE THE KR & THE RUNNING W ON MY TRUCK, IT WILL BE THE LAST ONE!
Ive now had two terrible experiences and this is just sad. My first one was last year. Their website claims items are in stock and then they actually turn up to be on back order. I cancelled my order last year and a few months later they charged my card which is ridiculous. I just ordered a pair of boots and a sweater from them the other day. Once again, their website claims the boots are in stock. I got a tracking number for the sweater, but not the boots. So I gave them a call. Boots are on back order and they wont be arriving until April. I went through the website and asked about 3 other pairs that also claim to be in stock and all on back order. I finally found a pair that was $24 more than what I had paid and asked if they could give them to me at the price I had already paid instead of me coming out of pocket another $24 for my inconvenience and she said no. Terrible customer service and its not going to be easy shopping here anymore. I drive a King Ranch pickup and have for years. Ive always wanted to order clothing and merchandise out of their magazine and now all that magazine that they send me in the mail every so often is good for is extra toilet paper. Thank you King Ranch for ruining Christmas.

I ordered from the online shop almost 3 weeks ago. After a week of no communication I contacted customer service about the status of my order. They informed me that it was now on back order and wouldn’t arrive before Christmas. I emailed them back to find out when the item would be available and no one bothered to answer me. Today I called them to find out that it would not be available until March. They didnt seem to care that although an item showed in stock and ready to ship on the website, it would not be available until March. They don’t bother to inform their customers when items are back ordered as my mother had the same issue with their online store last year.I cancelled my order and will not do business with a company that does not care about its customer service.

The King Ranch Saddle Shop is world renowned as a premium leather shop. Their custom products costing thousands of dollars are handmade and worthy of their reputation. In order to have a line of available and affordable products at the King Ranch Saddle Shop and on their website it seems King Ranch had to source products elsewhere and compromise. It’s understandable to find small ways to compromise when producing a product and still deliver a great product at a price attainable for more people. After personally and friends purchasing products (wallet, briefcase, luggage and other items) in the last few years it is apparent they have gone heavy on the compromise even though these products are still priced higher than comparable products like Filson. I don’t know their sourcing but it appears King Ranch is sourcing marginal products and using their reputation to charge 2-3 times what a competitors carrying the same items would. They are probably selling a lot of products worldwide and many people are very pleased initially when they receive their purchases but in a few months’ time they, like many longtime customers who’ve shopped at the Saddle Shop in Kingsville for years will attest that lately the quality is embarrassingly sub-par from what you’d expect out of the saddle shop and for the price.

Garbage...they use their name to sell poor quality merchandise at ridiculous prices...this is the 4th time and it is charm for me...Never again...90$ belt with shipping with cardboard belt buckle! They use fancy buckle in photo to entice you with disclaimer in fine print but why use the picture...why not display the belt as sold?! Bait and switch and no integrity! I could pay $25 for a better belt at Walmart...last year paid over $100 for one that was broken in 6 months...same thing has happened with wallet... so disappointed and disgusted... throwing all catalogues away from now on and will never shop with them again.....Caveat Emptor....Buyer beware!! Shame on you King Ranch!!!
