First time car buyer here, and with Susan’s help it was an absolutely painless process. While I got the run around from other dealerships, Susan was very straightforward about everything which was exceptionally refreshing. She helped guide us through the process and was quick to answer my (many) questions. I couldn’t be happier with my RAV4 and have recommended Prestige to anyone looking for a new vehicle. I’m from the Capital District and made the hour journey and it was so worth it! We will be purchasing all future vehicles from Prestige and through Susan if she’s still there at that time! 8 AM appointment was made for warranty work on a fuel pump and I added an oil change $95. I was told 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Left home at 7 and arrived just before 8AM to a long, long line of cars for service. I think they scheduled everyone for 8AM and I mean everyone.A sign was up that they we working with a new computer system and expect delays. I was not informed of this when I made the appointment. Not sure how this affected the service area but apparently it did.I called at noon, no eta, called around 2 nothing. I was told it was done at 3:30! 7 1/2 hours - Long day hanging around Kingston.

Do not take your car here for repairs, and be careful buying from this location! They have a rodent infestation problem. Our car was taken there for repairs due to a safety recall. They parked it next to the woods, where most of the vehicles needing work are parked, and rodents chewed the wiring. When we went to pick it up it wasnt driveable. The manager admitted this happens often there, even with new cars. He said the dealership would repair the vehicle, but the vehicle owner is responsible for the cost. So they are knowingly allowing vehicle damage to occur, then charging for repairs. Negligent and dishonest on multiple levels.

Buying our first truck was made very easy working with Joe and Prestige, right down to taking care of plates and registration. Joe led us to the perfect truck for us, and thoroughly explained all the Tacoma TRD Sport functions.(w/ manual trans.) Transaction was smooth and quick! And what a truck this is.... I also drive a sport tuned BMW, and while the Tacoma is not a sports car, it is really fun to drive! No kidding! Better than I imagined. Thanks Joe and the Prestige team!

I just got home with my brand new Rav4 Prime and could not be happier with the car or with the experience at Prestige. I worked with Gerry in sales and he made the process extremely easy. Saleslady Gabby spent a long time writing down and getting keys for EVERY car that met my qualifications, not just one and saying theyre all the same as this one, which I was impressed with. She was also very willing to communicate via text or email rather than phone calls since I was always at work during our correspondence. Unfortunately, Im new to the area and havent found a trustworthy mechanic yet so Im stuck with them gouging me for basic maintenance. 😥

We planned to buy a hybrid Rav4, but she pointed us in the direction of the Rav4 Prime which turned out to be a much smarter purchase after rebates.She is honest and has as much integrity as she does patience. Went to Prestige Toyota to look at a RAV4. Could not find any parking and when we went inside all the employees were on their phones except the one nice woman already working with customers that had to get really close to the other 2 men in the rooms faces to get their attention until one of them pretended to take a phone call to avoid helping! Never coming here again and ended up finding the beaten up car myself using the VIN number.

Let’s begin by saying that I have been a customer of prestige Toyota for quite a few years. Not this time! To be fair, they appear to be extremely short staffed currently however that does not justify our recent experience. First of all, do not bother trying to call, the phone will not get picked up at the dealership. After ringing for a very long time, somebody did answer who clearly was not local, did take my message and promised a callback which did not occur. I decided just to pay a visit and take a look around. I will say, that this was toward the end of the day but definitely not as they were about to close the door. I actually did get to sit down with a sales person who kept making mistakes and complaining how tired he was until the conversation came to a common interest he was very willing to discuss at length.Anyway, we agreed to be in touch within a few days. I texted said salesman for further information and did not get a response. I went back a couple of days later to go for a test drive and was told absolutely no one was available to help me. At this point in time I was feeling a little testy and when this became apparent the response was not pleasant.Just by the way, the employees at Hyundai next door were a lot nicer but they were just as short staffed.Long story short, we got a car somewhere else. Great price too.

Went in to look at a 2018 Toyota Yaris iA. The one I originally went to see was sold over a month ago and the Yaris they showed me instead had so much water damage and VISIBLE fuzzy mold under bucket seats and in the trunk space near the spare. Not to mention the mileage reported on carfax ISNT the mileage on the odometer (because the fold damage and subsequent repair allowed them to “wash” the title). Overall just really disgusted a dealership would sell a car like this to someone. If you’re in the area and they show you a 2018 Toyota Yaris iA in grey LOOK UNDER THE BACK SEAT CUSHIONS. Then run.

Toyota is the best vehicle, but this is about the service shop. Im leaving this review here because its the only place I found to share my Toyota service shop experience. I got a wheel alignment that left my steering wheel slightly off center and when I straightened it out, the car would veer off to the right. I explained to the customer service rep., Tara, what I found. The Tech took it for a test drive and told Tara that he let go of the wheel and the car went straight. Tara informed me of his findings and I told her that it goes straight but the wheel isnt straight, and that I wasnt satisfied. She said, well he moved on to another job, I will have to reschedule you. So it appears she rescheduled. When I showed up the following week, Tara was off and there was no appointment. The other customer service rep said he couldnt do anything about it and to call back on Tuesday. I was upset for getting up so early and they should have corrected this problem the first day. I was given an attitude and was then told that I need to be patient. Unbelievably this guy does not hesitate to argue with you like if hes in the street. I asked who was in charge and was told that the manager is off. I asked who is in charge in his absence, and was told no one. Later that week I brought it to the attention of the manager, Eric Eisgruber in an email. He responded by saying, thank you for telling me. I find these people to be rude and uncaring the moment there is a problem. Not once did I get an apology for bad work performed, not entering my appointment, or the attitude given to me by the other customer service rep. I would also like to add that I am not a young man, I have been around and know about mechanics. I figured that I would pay a little more for quality work, but I was wrong. We are not perfect. People make mistakes, thats understandable, but they should be responsible for their mistakes. I dont mind paying the money, or returning to get the work corrected, but its not appropriate for employees to treat their customers in a condescending and disrespectful manner. The next time I need a wheel alignment, I will avoid this place at all cost and go to Meineke Car Care Center. They have done good alignments for me in the past and the price is cheaper.

Our own car recently died on us, and we decided to visit and shop there for an upgrade. In our research we found the prices to be competitive with many other places far and wide. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our salesperson Gerry was the professional you might expect. We felt very tended after and secure with our purchase. He helped us find the perfect car, and then when we realized we wanted a different color he accommodated our wants with cheer and zero issues. My salesman Joe Rodelli was not interested in selling us a car. When we asked him questions he would look away and take a minute or two to answer. We asked to see a different car than he showed us and he became very agitated. He did not want to show us anything other than 1 car. He would sigh very loudly when we asked him questions and kept asking us if we saw the website then went on to tell us we should have went to the website and how we should have done our own research. His job is to tell us about the cars he sells but did not want to. We asked simple questions that seemed to really annoy him. We were welcomed in by 2 different women that were very friendly, their customers were happy with them. We spoke with them on the way out. There was another salesman that was more enthusiastic about his job. I recommend one of them. They acted like they worked there joe acted like he was a service customer we were annoying by asking them questions. Joe acted like he was being held hostage. We overheard one of the women explaining why she loves working there. They are making you wait 1 weeks to pick up you car!! We left and went to DCH

Went into Prestige of Kingston NY today. Most of the salespeople ignored me. I know they saw me. Im not blind.A wonderful, young sales w man named Suzan was the only one who got up a.s we were leaving. She was No b.s. (I did m.y homework) on the car, financing etc. I got their no haggle price immediately on paper. We test drove the carWe went in to the dealership to test drive the RAV hybrid. Too boat like in its handling for me. We found a new, less expensive, new Toyota my wife and i liked... Fast and friendly service. Cassandra was great and it was pleasant to actually deal with one salesperson through the entire process rather than switching around or having a manager jump in at the last minute. Everyone was friendly and accommodating in making my first-time truck purchase very easy.John Hutton was the salesman that helped make this process extremely easy. He was very easy to talk with and by the end of the process of getting everything together, we have developed a great positive relationship out of this experience. I can’t say enough about Joseph Rodelli III. He made this whole experience so easy and so painless. I had been going through a lot of nonsense with other dealers for several months trying to find a Tacoma. There were several dealerships that gave me the run around and mislead me with inaccurate information. I came in three times, once for a few hours to test out some vehicles, once when I had decided what I’d like to buy, and then a third time to pick up. My experience in dealing with Gerry Fraenkel of Prestige Toyota of Kingston, NY was excellent from inception. His introduction was impressive as he had researched the details of my then current lease and seemed to know exactly what I would want in a successor lease. In response to his introduction we scheduled a meeting to discuss end-of-lease options. He then introduced me to the car which would probably meet my requirements and he had hit the nail squarely on the head. The candidate car was perfect for me. Immediately after a test drive I signed a new lease.Two days later I picked up the new car. When presented with the vehicle how to manuals by Kayla from sales support, she indicated that Gerry had tabbed the giant owners manual at the critical safety sections that are really must reads. So Gerry had me covered from the start of the process to the completion.I can honestly say that I have never received better service on any automobile acquisition than I received from Gerry. Because of Coronavirus I had issues trying to get a hold of a sales representative on the phone to answer some questions, before walking into the dealership in person to test drive a car. But once I arrived in person I had a fantastic experience with Noah OByrne. This was my first time purchasing a car and he made finding and buying the right car for me super easy. I really appreciated him walking through all of the features the car had in detail and explaining the main differences between two cars I was interested in. He was super informative and really wanted to make sure I found the right that I would be happiest with, without the pressure of other dealerships.
