I just had an amazing experience at the progressive lighting outlet center. Joe the manager went above and beyond to help me find what I needed in the store today. The customer service was exceptional! I will certainly be recommending the store to all of my friends.

If I could give a lower rating I would. Communication with these guys is so bad. I am guessing that they don’t have enough folks working to cover the business. I understand that there can be inventory issues with items but to wait over 2 weeks then take 5-10 mins on a computer to tell me they oversold the item and won’t be able to deliver is really mind boggling. And because I am buying a lower priced fixture they are like well whatever. If they had said hey this is messed up but we have some other fixtures here that might fit the bill, I might have said ok let’s look. They must be so flush with it that they don’t need us so ok I’ll go somewhere else and probably spend more than I did there. Really terrible experience.

The Kennesaw store is impressive, with lots of choices. We worked with Progressive on our new house build and came away confused with some of their policy decisions, like refusing to install discounted fixtures. But, if I could, I would give their associate, Mark, 5 stars for being so helpful throughout the process.

Shane was awesome! He was so helpful. His knowledge enabled us to go forward with our project more easily. Everyone there was very nice and the lighting display was very beautiful.

Today I was pleasantly surprized at this store. I dealt with two representatives Mike and Mark they were outstanding. I purchased a few items and from now on this will be my lighting store, they are a pleasure to do business with.Update, 7/1/2021. I may have jumped the gun when I said how helpful they were as a follow-up they have the worse customer service i have seen. I order a light and a part for which they told me would be in the following week. Well we are going on week two and i cant get a return call or a status update on my order. When you call the store they put you on hold and never come back or connect you to voice mail, and they will not respond. Absolute worse experience Ive had from a retailer.

I am building a house and am at the point where I need all the lighting and ceiling fans for the complete house. Everyone at this location is totally snooty and rude. I went to the back counter to get help since I noticed a lot of employees just standing around chatting. When asking for help they all started to act like they were busy. I would not suggest going here if you do not fit their ideal customer image (50+ plus White people with their noses in the air). There about 5 other lighting shops in the area with more friendly employees.

Updated: My first review was only 2 stars for the reason listed below BUT today the sales people phoned and after expressing my frustration they said they were going to work on it and call back (Kennesaw Location) and they did! That was the first surprise.Next they now had one in store and the other due to come in on Tuesday. I credit this totally to the personnel in store. I imagine they phoned around until they could located the two lights instead of having them on back order.These in store sales people did indeed go the extra mile and demonstrated their desire to make a customer happy after an initial mess up on someone’s part.First Review which was only 2 Stars:The store is beautiful, great selection, friendly and helpful staff BUT we purchased three lights, and 2 of them were for a bathroom we were remodeling. The staff called the Warehouse to be sure they were in stock as we did not want to back order them. They told us that 7 of them were in stock and could be in the store in a week. They placed the order while we were standing there and the lights were paid for.A week has passed, we had to call the store to check on them and shortly received a call back saying the lights were back ordered and MAY be in in a week or two.One feeble excuse after another when the bottom line is their service in delivery was either misrepresented or we were lied to.They have our money and now we wait to see how long the lights will take to come in. A shame as customer service is very important.

Kacie assisted me with my new home light fixture purchase. She went above and beyond by providing me a vision board to see all of the items I chose. She also assisted me with purchasing items not on the progressive lighting website and price matched 110% to ensure I received the best price. I am very grateful for her help. She provided amazing customer service from the beginning and I would definitely recommend her and the kennesaw store for all of your light fixture needs.

Outstanding Company. * * * * *We recently stopped by Progressive Lighting to look at fans.The friendly salesman Chandler Valentine, who was helping us, when he heard that we were there to replace a “Savoy House” fan, we had purchased from the same store twelve years ago, because the motor had gone bad. He informed us that the motor had a lifetime warranty and that if it was still being manufactured, it could be repaired for free and if it was obsolete due to the number of years passed, we probably could get a credit towards a new fan.He told us he would discuss it with his manager and get back with us.We had chosen a “Minka Aire Artemis” fan as #1 on our list, if we ended up having to buy a new fan and came on home not expecting much to come concerning the warranty.Once we were home we went on line and read some of the reviews for this store; we saw reviews that claimed the prices were inflated; therefore we went ahead and checked what the prices for the same fan was at The Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond and Amazon and were delighted to see that it was exactly the same to the penny.When Chandler got back with us he informed us that our fan was obsolete and therefore the motor could not be replaced but his manager had agreed to give us credit towards the purchase of the new fan.We were Pleasantly Surprised and Delighted.Of course we placed the order for the new Fan immediately.We would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for excellent customer service.They are definitely a 5 Star company.

Beautiful showroom with a load of different styles of lighting. Was very surprised by the deals they currently have going on because they are truly jaw-dropping. I believe Mark and Chandler were the two associates who displayed great customer service and went above and beyond to make sure we were content with and satisfied especially being as short staffed as they were at the moment. Will be back for my basement remodel!

Many of the exact same products can be found at Home Depot for much cheaper. For example they were showing one lamp at 355 USD which can be had for 89 USD at Home Depot. What a rip-off!

Excellent design help from Mark to find just the right lights for our home and helped me to stay within budget. Mark, Kathy and others will make an appointment, in advance, for anyone looking and give you undivided attention. I am so delighted with all the fixtures Ive chosen so far. Most were on their beautiful showroom floor that I wanted, but was delighted to get for almost 1/2 price or less in their outlet in the back of the store with Marks help. Items are the same just not boxed. I ran out of time, so will make another appointment to choose the rest after Christmas. Ive looked at other lighting places and online and Progressives prices are the best!

Mark helped me pick out and coordinate light fixtures for my living room, dining room, breakfast room, and entry. Due to my open floor plan the lights needed to blend, but I didnt want matchy, matchy. His understanding of my style and my budget was spot on. I am VERY pleased with my purchases. Thanks, Mark.

Went In to purchase a ceiling fan today at Kennesaw location and was not greeted and no one offered to help me. When I asked for assistance with a ceiling fan, I was told that there was a skeleton crew and if I could wait that one of the sales people was at lunch and he could help me when he’s off lunch break. I responded NO. There were two sales people in the lobby. The greeter responded to me “fine” when I said I would not wait until someone to get off lunch. Very unprofessional and rude. Our new home has all progressive light fixtures. Will not return again.

Looks like a beautiful store, but have been there twice and both times the store was closed for miscellaneous reasons. Nothing on their website....just a sign on door. They lost my business the first time and they are about to lose my business the second time.

We purchased our ceiling fans from Progressive when we built our custom home in 2007. I saved the receipts and warranty information. When I purchased the fans (2007), I questioned whether or not it would be a better idea to purchase the fans from Home Depot or Lowes type store, instead of Progressive due to the warranty protection that the other stores had. They said (at that time) that their fans have a lifetime guarantee as well. We proceeded with purchasing the fans from Progressive.Fast forward to 2019. One of fans had a short circuit and the other one rattled. I figured it was a good time to replace both (instead of one at a time). The first salesperson stated that the fans I needed would be a new purchase and not a warranty. I told her about my paperwork explaining the warranty. She stated the warranty was only for the motor. I stated that, well if it is not working, then I am pretty sure it was the motor. The conversation proceeded to, well, it is not so easy to get them replaced. You will have to bring them in and we will have to send it to the manufacturer and they will determine if it can be repaired or replaced.I think the overall takeaway from this is that Progressive Lighting does not appear to make it easy for the customer. Customer service and helping the customer is not on their scale. And, if if you need a fan, you probably would do much better and purchase from Home Depot or Lowes.

Rose was super helpful with finding the replacement globes for my fixture. They even had them in stock. Great service.

I have been back to two different progressive lighting locations to complete my orders. Both locations in the entire process has been the worst for a store that I have shopped in. I will never come back here. Surprised they are still in business.One gentleman that finalized my order was great but everything else has been disappointing.

I can’t say enough good things about PL. their selection, service and stock is the best! In days where it’s hard to buy things on the spot, they have a lot on inventory. Also, when you need a bargain, don’t be slow to visit their clearance section!
