One of our favorite places! Great range, and amazing food and drinks! Always has exotic meats , good service, and changes menu fairly frequently but keeps favorites on menu. love this place!

Nice range. Restaurant is good too. Maintained a membership for a while but wasn’t getting value from it over paying a la carte for range time and archery (which didn’t have much of a discount with membership). The exclusivity is nice though. Shop selection is limited and expensive so now I go elsewhere for purchases/transfers.Archery is top notch with Coach Billy!

Love this place. Good vibes all the time. I miss Tim definitely hands down the best bar tender you can ask for. He is a master at his craft. The people are always nice. The food is always on point. There is nothing I have not tried that I didn’t love. And trust me we have had the whole menu. The range is also awesome. Waiting to try the clay. There is so much to do in the time frame that it just flys right by. Clearly I love food .. Definitely worth it.

One of the nicest gun ranges I’ve been to. I’m a member here and I love the food upstairs for members. If you are not a member here I HIGHLY suggest you get it just for the great food. Also you get free range time being a member.

Knowledgeable staff, great ranges reasonable prices

We spent a few hours in the 15 yard range. They double check for steel core ammo and keep your proof of ID. We bought 6 targets. We had eyes and ears but they did have the option to borrow if you are not fully prepared. If you wanted to rent a gun, they had the option. Two people in our group who had not fired there previously were required to watch a safety video. The range safety was active and had visuals on us. He offered assistance to one of the ladies who had a malfunction. It was nice to know we were in a safe environment. You could see a few places where bullets hit places they should not have but it was a reminder to always be aware of your actions. We fired at moving targets (dancing) and they turned out the lights and turned on flashing lights for a more challenging experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. Afterwards we headed over to the bar area and had some dinner. My son loves their chicken strips and my dad drools for their chicken wings.

Wow, came here with friends, left wanting to become members! Food was really good. Loved the quail. Meatloaf was large portion and good. Alligator appetizer was yummy. Service was excellent. Bathrooms were impeccably clean. Full bar, billiards. Cant wait to return in summer to try out the balcony.

My husband and colleagues went to the club this evening. They could not have been more pleased! Huck helped them on the range and he was awesome. The evening was perfect and the restaurant never disappoints!! Larry is by far the finest chef in GA. Probably the SEIf you have the opportunity to visit this place, do not pass on it!!Thank you GGC!!

Great food! My wife had the Parmesan. Crusted Grouper, I had the Baby Back Ribs.The gun ranges are top notch and the staff is friendly and helpful. Good prices and stock in the gun store too, Particularly for Talon ARs and Glocks.

Governors Gun Club is a fantastic place to have a corporate event. The facility is second to none. The skeet range, pistol and rifle ranges are state of the art. The staff is friendly and professional. The retail store is superb. From planning to execution, we felt that you listened to our needs and desires and created a wonderful experience for our customers and friends. Took the Coed handgun fundamentals class and it was amazing. JOSETTE is a goddess in the education field of gun safety. I walked into class knowing NOTHING. I walked out of class with a foundation of the basics of gun ownership and responsibility. I can not stress how important this class is!!! Take it! Worth every penny!!

The gun range is nice and clean with a spacious layout, and I would come back for this portion of the business. I would agree a previous post that the employees are nice, but not very helpful. Store selection is very poor compared to other places. In addition, I signed up for a training class and the description did not match what was covered in the class. The instructor stated that the class was too large to get cover the all aspects of the training, which was disappointing.

A nice gun range that insures your safety and helpful. Has a nice place to dine upstairs afterwards.

I had two rifles repaired by David their gunsmith. He did an excellent job and prices were very reasonable. Both occasions they were repaired in a few days.

We have been FMJ members for close to 2 years. From Logan in member services, Larry the Head Chef, Tim our favorite bartender and Ryan the RSO, all these people are what keep us as members. Whether its just a casual evening as a family or entertaining business coworkers, we enjoy our time we spend at Governors. We are extremely pleased to be known as regulars at this fine establishment.

My company has booked two events so far at the Shotgun range and I have to tell you, each has been amazing. This is ideally a one stop shop. Have some fun hitting some clays, relax with a beverage after and enjoy some food and apps! The Head Chef Larry, really knows how to turn out a great dish!! I would highly recommend Governors for your next event!! Contemplating a membership there very soon!!!

First time visiting the Kennesaw facility 9/28/2020. It is very impressive. I received excellent service from Rambo. He took the time to help familiarize me with the facility and a gun I was interested in buying. He is very knowledgeable, personable and helpful. Great experience. I will definitely be back and recommend the Governors Club and Rambo to my family, friends and coworkers.

Jordan is a fantastic instructor! Have taken an excellent fundamentals group class which he led, as well as private instruction now. He is meticulous, thorough, professional and very patient (perfect for a novice student!). After my lesson, I was able to immediately demonstrate improved knowledge and skills--so motivating!! Will definitely take more lessons with him and recommend him to friends and family. Thanks again Jordan!

I’d like to give a BIG thank you to Jordan Monroe for my private (beginner) lesson this past weekend. He did an amazing job with making me feel very comfortable with my new gun, and he was super supportive and knowledgeable. I walked into that class having no experience at all, and terrible anxiety with simply touching my weapon. I’d really suggest taking a private course with Jordan M. over a group course, if you really need that 1-on-1 attention. The moment he told me about the type of military background he had, I was very confident that I’d found the right instructor and I wasn’t disappointed! So again, even for my ladies out there...if you’re a new gun owner or you need to brush up on your current skills, Jordan Monroe is your guy!Oh and it doesn’t hurt that the food and the drinks upstairs (as well as the staff) were AWESOME! This place is a hidden treasure for sure.

Homey, classy, fulfilling, and — honestly — really fun! Myself and my family have had the privilege of going to Governor’s for years. I am confident in saying it is by far an experience not to be missed in kennesaw.Restaurant: Governor’s offers a private (members only) restaurant with one of the most diverse menus I’ve ever seen. They’ve consistently outperformed local restaurants and even “upper echelon” restaurants known for their food. It’s truly amazing!Ranges: Being the only club except for one in Germany to offer an indoor Skeet range, Governors is definitely a top-tier club. I cannot say I’ve grown up understanding the facets of guns and gun clubs, but I do not regret learning here! Ranges are large, plentiful, and modern. Safety is taken seriously and rentals are offered.There’s much, much more to do here including gun smithing services and their retail areas. By far, their restaurants and ranges set them far apart from other local clubs and restaurants in my view.Of all the places in my hometown, this ranks in the top 3!

I dont know about the other parts of this business. But as far as ordering, it was terrible. Ordered a scope for my hunting rifle on 10/24/2020 and as of 10/29/2020 there is no update and cannot get in touch with anyone. I ordered it in the hopes it would be here by this Friday(10/30/2020) and i could pick it up in store. Now the item I ordered isnt even on the website anymore. Ive called and emailed. As of about 5 minutes ago I get an email and was told it would be another month before it would process which is unacceptable. Now Ive asked for a refund and we will see where this goes. Ill just buy it somewhere else.

Alex in the archery department spent extra time with us getting our new bow set up and ensuring that our form was correct. I will certainly be back for more practice after the fantastic service that we received there. So glad to have an indoor archery range so close to us with such attentive and knowledgeable staff.

I have to say I have traveled the U.S and the world and I have to say this is the best all around quality shooting facility I have ever been to. From the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff to the range safety officers that are there to help you not judge you. As if that wasnt enough from the gun selection to the shooting supplies and full artery section it is top notch but and I mean but after We were given our tour. They let us have lunch up stairs. This is were it really gets good . Lets not kid ourselves you wouldnt expect at a gun club to have food that was just as good or even better than any restaurant but thats what happened. When Considering all of this and more . It is more then Reasonably priced for a membership to this 5 star facility you wont be disappointed and yes they have a full liquor bar upstairs but if you do drink, sorry you can not shoot anymore, except in the gun simulator room but if a membership is not for you . You can still in joy this 5 star shooting facility and shop for all your shooting supplies.

First time to a Governors range. Mixed thoughts on my experience. Building was clean and the staff courteous. The uncomfortable parts were the young adults laying waste to their targets with semi-auto rifles and shotguns on the what I was told was the handgun range. No chance to use my time to sight two new handguns. I was being showered with spent powder, flashes, and verbal excitement from two feet away. It was impressive but bad timing. Turned out the range they were supposed to be on was broken and so they were placed beside me. Staff did not send them to the private range upstairs. The second reason to stay away was what I found in the parking lot upon leaving. I purposely parked my wife’s pretentious auto in a far corner and a very large, modified, mud truck parked four inches off the driver’s door in an otherwise empty section of the lot. I think I will rely upon fully private clubs or the company ranges for future meetings with family and friends. Lack of respect were my findings and that carries over to safety.

Great place for archery. They have league competitions welcoming all skill levels. They have a nice pro shop headed up by Billy. He is awesome at bringing in a newbie and getting them fired up about the sport. He really knows the ins and outs of dialing in a bow. Hes a pro shooter and I believe you can get lessons as well.They also have an archery simulator called Techno hunt. You can shoot with your bow with your arrows at simulated hunting situations. It is an awesome experience and great tool. They are expanding what is already a top notch club. A 3D course may be in the works.

While a nice facility, there are better ranges in the area. The employees arent rude but also not helpful in any way. Store selection leaves much to be desired. Serious shooters would do better elsewhere.

Visited as an after work activity with some co-workers. Pistol range was very good. Had dinner after and the food was amazing. Bird in Bacon is the best appetizer I have ever eaten. Great experience.

Above average gun range, they really did this one better than their their location, this is our new go to spot for shooting. Really great staff too. Range Marshal helped my daughter with learning how to shoot.

I had Mr Mario for my instructor for gun defensive training . I was very pleased, he was professional. He was very patient and very helpful. He made sure that I learned as much as I can , and willing to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend him , especially to my friends..

I have been 3 times now. Twice during the soft opening and once in the last few days. The gunsmith was very knowledgeable. I will say the level of knowledge and service from the people who operate the pistol lane rental leave something to be desired. I can only hope that as they get some more time behind them that the experience gets better. The range itself is top notch. I am looking forward to trying out the 100yd rifle range.

I started to go to Braselton until my Buddy brought this Gun Club to my attention. From the time we walked in I was impressed. From the staff, the 100yd rifle range, pistol, and archery range this is the place. I drove 43 miles to zero my 243 and 30.06 in and the electronic targets saved me so much time with sighting in my rifle.If you are a first time rifle owner the staff on site was willing and ready to assist you at any point during your session with adjustments and any questions you may have. Until, someone opens a Club/Range in Clayton County with a 100yd rifle range. The Governor Gun Club will continue to get my business no matter how far the drive. My son and I took a very informative and useful Home Defense Shotgun Training Class from our Instructor, Rambo, who provided this excellent Training. We plan to take his Advanced Training course next month.

Advertised a sale online that specifically stated to come in store for specials. I asked guy at the counter about the sale his first words We really only sell guns on-line. Management did not bother telling gun salesman there is a sale?!Huge shiny new building with a tiny (500 square feet may be generous estimate) retail area to purchase guns. I guess that is not why they invested in this place?

There’s a reason they are winning the best of Cobb county awards. Bert and Kristina are the best, the food is the best, just a great time everytime we do brunch or dinner. So fancy as well. It’s just a great experience always.

Our familys favorite gun range in Georgia but also one of the best restaurants as well. Love the She Crab soup and the weekend specials are always fantastic. Great setup to be able to go shoot and have the family order lunch in the lounge and be able to watch the shooters out on the range. Good clean ranges, great balcony atmosphere and lots of TVs in the members area.

This has the potential to be a really fantastic country club level facility oriented to pistol, rifle and shotgun. There are still 3 weeks until the official opening so there is time to correct current shortcomings, and theres a lot to correct. Restaurant waiters need further training. They, and their manager, were flitting around the room in a most distracting manner, with customers trying to enjoy dinner employees were talking quite loudly and making unnecessary noise carrying in supplies and prepping the bar ice. There is a great bar/grill but unfortunately the larger restaurant area does not carry off a better image than the bar/grill. A truly wonderful open kitchen area but the chef did not season anything on my plates and presentation left much room for improvement. Unaccompanied children are allowed to monopolize the pool tables. Staff is friendly but uninformed about the facility and its programs. Not yet enough staff to keep stairwell clean and glass cleaned. Again, a great facility, with great potential, and the facility is not yet officially open. Lets give them a chance to meet their potential. Why are others giving 5 stars before it opens? Beats me.

Hands down my favorite gun range/shop to visit. They have pretty much every indoor range you can think of (trap, archery, rifle/pistol, etc), events going on all the time, and their membership includes being able to eat at their great upstairs restaurant so you can shoot for a bit, then go grab dinner/lunch!

The club is nice overall. We went to zero the scopes on our rifles and were sadly disappointed. The rifle range is by far the worst I have ever been to. There is no way to actually zero your scope. I feel like I was taken advantage of and the three of us wasted $60. When I brought it up to the guy at the register, he shrugged it off and said yeah, its hard to replace the targets. Needless to say, we wont be returning, if for no other reason than the horrible customer service and lack of concern for my issues.Also, we were the first people in line before the store opened. We were forced to watch a 5 minute video, no big deal, but when the video was over we found that they had let others ahead of us and we were forced to wait over an hour before we could go shoot.For those of you complaining about the FFL transfer, Cherokee Gun and Pawn does it for free. Stop giving your money to these hacks.

Starting to misfire... The rifle range is not working correctly. They were nice enough not to charge me after I informed them but, I had to drive all the way there to learn it first hand because they could not be bothered to pick up the phone after calling 3 times on two separate days. Several other customers were having problems also from what I was hearing.

I had my first firearms lesson ever at the Governors Club with Jordan. I didnt realize how much I didnt know about how to keep safe while learning all about my gun. All my questions were answered, Jordan made it very easy to understand everything. I highly recommend him !

After using the pistol range a couple of times and taking the tour I was impressed enough to make a significant upfront investment into membership. Thats where my disappointment begins.The club has been out of membership access cards for a couple of weeks. I still have to ask someone from the service desk to grant me access to the members area or even exit a particular door.Part of the attraction for membership is free access to the members area (restaurant bar, members shooting lanes, etc). Not having access and having to wait on an escort is not the end of the world but it is annoying; especially when youve made such a substantial upfront investment. Not getting all youve paid for is not a good customer experience. Not only have I not received the access cards but I have yet to receive any of the swag that come with membership (polo shirts). No one can even give me an estimated time to expect the cards in-house.I asked if there was a way to provide feedback to a general manager. I was asked to provide a hand written note. Seriously?! The club provides online technology to enable self signup but no way to provide management feedback. Despite this, I wrote the letter, provided my name, email and phone number. That was 3 days ago. I have yet to hear from anyone.The facilities are great and the staff is generally helpful and polite, but the lack of membership support in addressing an outgoing issue is disappointing to say the least.

We had our leadership team meeting at the Club and everything turned out great, from the continental breakfast and lunch to the Simulator team activity! It was a pleasure working with Casey Hoffman, Director of Events & Conference Services. She made sure we were well taken care of. Thank you Casey and the Governors Gun Club Kennesaw for an awesome experience. It was my first time visiting and will definitely go back again with my family and friends.

Had a chance to go visit the facility and have lunch on Friday. Shelley Elder with Elder Law invite me. The staff was so friendly and the food was outstanding. Had a bruschetta chicken sandwich with mixed vegetables are it was so so good.

Great food, friendly staff, and an amazing shooting facility. You won’t find another place like this.Let me be the first to say that anyone leaving 3 stars or less must be horrible to serve.The food has always been seasoned to perfection, and of course, cooked. You wont find a menu that is as unique as this one in the area. The people are friendly and the restaurant is meant to be laid back as it is a club not a resort. Employees seemed to enjoy their job, they all carry smiles, and work hard. Employees SHOULD NOT have to be totally silent. Remember, youre in a gun range after all. The manager is focused and constantly checking on employees, solving issues (this place isnt even officially open yet) or taking care of managerial tasks, all while continually being prompt and friendly with customers.Their store is organized with employees ready to assist you with any needs, and they will be boasting quite a selection of rentals once they open.

I only buy my guns and ammo from their location in Hiram/Powder Springs location. So, I thought I’d try out the new location. I’m not trying to get anyone in trouble, but this was horrible service! I came in with my bow to get new arrows, have them cut, but had every intention of buying a new rifle and possibly a new bow. After 15 minutes of nobody talking to me, I flagged down an employee and told him what I was there for. Another 30 minutes pass without anyone even looking my way as I stood at the archery counter, I was able to get the attention of the original employee that I spoke to. He informed me that the bow smith was teaching a class ( which I completely understand), and that it would be an hour plus wait. This is all after I had several employees pass me without even acknowledging me. I had to hunt down an answer. This sucks, because the Hiram location has been more than helpful with any of my needs. I truly hope that nobody gets in trouble over this review, but I now have to go elsewhere for my needs.

My wife, son, and I decided to take a trip here and shoot last week. It was very busy due to events that were being hosted. We wanted to try the shotgun range and Jonathan worked us in, so we didn’t have to wait long. He was more than just knowledgeable about shooting shotguns. He was patient, warm, understanding, and again VERY knowledgable. He always had a smile on his face and was very professional. Everything he told us led to positive results and clays broken. My family essentially were given a lesson with everything that he did, and said to help us. We will definitely be back, and look forward to shooting at this top tier range.

I went there for my first time. The 100M electrically monitored targets are horrible. No matter what site adjustment I made, the impact was in the same place. I took 4 rifles and honestly, just wasted the ammunition because of their monitoring problem. The men at the counter were nice, but limited in what they could do. Law enforcement discount was 5%. Im not sure what that saves, perhaps the Tax? Overall, I wont be going back. This is sad, as Im a Lifetime NRA Member, Instructor and Range Safety Counselor.

Brought my boy here for his 20th birthday and am quite impressed. Excellent facility and staff! We had a great time. Will absolutely be back soon and look forward to joining.

This is the most advanced shooting sport facility I have ever seen. There are 32 dynamic Action Target pistol lanes with half of those dedicated to members. There are 3 - 100 yard underground shooting tubes for long guns and a huge indoor skeet and trap range. They have archery simulator and 3D indoor archery lanes. There is also a big store for guns, ammo, and accessories. They have a huge classroom with a simulator for training and education. I have been on the tour the weekend of March 3rd. They announced 3/6 (today) they will open all shooting on March 16. I attended a Duck’s Unlimited event there last weekend and they really did it right. DU raised a lot of money and the event was great!!

Christina is amazing she was completely swamped today and provided me with great service!... remember people... bartenders help serve the entire restaurant upstairs and downstairs...be patient during the holidays!

The nicest indoor range I have ever been to. Knowledgable staff. Better than average types and calibers of firearms. I went on one of the soft open days but one of the staff members showed me and my friend around. Membership can be expensive but your then paying for a social club not just gun range.

Great place to shoot and also a great bar and restaurant. We are members and we enjoy lunches at the club and also dinners inside and on the patio. The servers are great and the management staff is the best. Thanks Jim Hester for all you do.

First time coming here and I was impressed. Staff were very friendly.. Great experience.

We had our company Christmas party at the Kennesaw location today and we couldnt be happier with the service we received. We started with archery and James was amazing. He excelled in teaching the newbies the rules and giving instruction on how to shoot properly. By the time we were wrapping up, several of the members of our group were already making plans to get there own bows. We really thought only 2 to 3 people would be interested in archery, but literally all 20 people in attendance got hooked on it. We also got to try out the classroom simulator room, which was a big hit as well.Then we headed up to the restaurant. Everyone in our group had only great things to say about the food and service we received.

I have been there 4 times now. The level of service is awesome. They tend to their customers well. Jim has always been there welcoming customers and making sure things are running smoothly. Having an indoor shotgun range nearby is great!

Terrible customer service. On top of that one of the three 100yd rifle lanes was down. I was just told to wait when I arrived with no real direction of how long or what to do. Once I was done there were two employees trying to figure out something on a computer. They had me wait ten minutes before finally one of them decided to give me my ID so I could pay and leave. Keep in mind there were three registers to cash people out. I will not be returning and I highly recommend avoiding this place. They will be out of business soon. It was a complete joke. The rifle range down stairs was very hot too. They turned on the AC during the last five minutes of my hour of range time. Such a beautiful facility... it’s a shame it’s run so terribly.

It’s a nice range that’s open to the public. I requested a tour and looks even better for members. It’s a good setup. Large spaces and fully stocked.Areas to improve; add coat racks to the range and they require you take a 3 hour safety class if you want to draw & shoot. That’s crazy!! A 3 hour class (more $$$) to practice concealed and it’s only offered 1-2 times a month. But the draw class isn’t required for people to participate in the weekly IDPA events?!? If people have a Concealed Permit they should allowed to practice a draw & shoot. Heaven forbid you practice that. The RSO should be able to validate a persons form or figure something else out.Putting that aside, this is a wonderful facility.

My son and I went to GCC this past Sunday on way home from Jr Worlds skeet Tournament in Ft Bragg NC, and I was excited to let him shoot in the indoor range, but disappointed when we got in there. The range officer was very polite and courteous but didnt have knowledge of skeet shooting. High and low houses were down and several kinks to work out. But, he did shoot the 5 stand. Here is where the 2 star review comes in play. One, the lighting was not aimed properly and had more lighting on the ceiling. Two, the backdrop was dark grey and blended with the clays. Three, the clays were the orange top with black bottom. If I can give any recommendations, change the backdrop, get the orange/orange clays and change lighting and it will be a good place to shoot. All in All...great store, merch and good gun pricing.

Talk about friendly and knowledgeable. I went in to inquire about Firearm 101 training and Jay was super relatable and knowledgeable. He gave very detailed information about what is covered in the course and how I can sign up online. Then I spoke to a representative (can’t remember his name) in the firearm showroom and he and I talked for close to 3 hours. He answered every question I had (both detailed and stupid) and never once got impatient. His knowledge of the products and their practical uses blew my mind! When I left, I felt like my knowledge of firearms went from 0 to 100. Highly impressed and will more than likely return for all of my training and firearm needs.

I’ll never go back. Took Friday off, packed my gear and headed out. I was specifically there to use the indoor 100 yard range. Guy at counter made me unpack and checked all my ammo, then I repacked. He wanted me to zero at 25 yards with one rifle that had a new scope, so I unpacked again at the 25 yard range. As I was set to shoot, he informs me the 100 yard ranges will be down for a couple hours. I was blown away they would make me unpack, repack, unpack and repack my stuff up repeatedly and never inform me the range I came there to shoot on is down for repairs. Wasted half my day when I should of just gone to Wilson Shoals or Charlie Elliot WMA shooting ranges for free. Instead of shooting outdoors for free, I chose traffic from hell in Kennesaw to spend my time and money. Never again. I’ll take the great outdoors, far away from traffic central when I shoot over 25 yards. **** that place!!!!!! If they want to be a premier shooting facility, charge more than others, they need to get their act together. By the way, I’ve owned my own business for 25 years. I’m not the customer you want to chase away, but you have.

Need better organization skills but overall it was great just had a few things that I spoke to management about and if hey took action I will elevate them to 5 stars here.

Staff is very helpful, friendly and professional. The facility is clean and well maintained.

Nice place! My husband went to the gun range and enjoyed it. A group of us had drinks, appetizers and dinner in the bar area. Service was sketchy, but the food was good and reasonably priced.

Cant find a finer restaurant anywhere. Love being able shoot, drink, and smoke cigars, all in one place.

In purchasing a firearm on their website it is already been a week and still havent received the item days before the epidemic was Ethan announced the staff not helpful at all rude and unprofessional rushing me off the phone after giving them the information why I was calling and what was going on with the order seemed as if they had no idea when it will be delivered kept telling me to call back at different times.. will be the last I ever do business with that facility.

Excellent facilities and professional staff! All of the staff members are always friendly and helpful and always walking around to provide assistance if needed. The facilities are first class and always improving, as the facility is currently undergoing an improvement to add more range area as well as more Resturant area, which really adds to the entire “customer experience”, which is what Governers Gun Club is all about!!

Bought a gun from GunBroker and had it delivered here. I was in contact with the club twice about it before I showed up to have the gun transferred. When I showed up, they would not transfer the gun because they had not called me yet, even though the gun is in their possession. Nobody mentioned waiting for a call the two times I talked to a representative at the club. Now I wasted well over an hour of my time driving and will have to drive back. Wasting more time and money. I used to shoot here, but when my time is wasted purely due to the business I am a patron of, then they lose me as a customer. So I wont shoot here anymore, transfer weapons here, spend money here, or recommend GGC to anyone.Edit: Called back the next morning in response to the owner. My gun is available now as he stated, but I never received a notification as he stated. If it was truly ready at 3pm the sales crew I talked to could have simply put in a phone call to the person/department responsible and saved me time. Instead I was turned around at the door yesterday and told they cant help me if I havent been notified. I cannot recommend this club to anyone.

I have bought 2 hand guns from here. Kimber micro 9 and a bersa 9 compact pro. I used to like coming here. Now that the club has changed i guess they cut staff or something. I was interested in a all stainless smith amd wesson. It was a unique gun i really liked the look of it. I walked around for 25 minutes and never got any help at all. I guess they missed out on a sale today. Not sure if i will come back again.

What an awesome establishment! Top notch and first class all the way. If you want a place to shoot, get a great meal, and have a cocktail before heading home this is the place to be.

What an awesome club to be a member of! My family and I have been members since the Powder Springs location opened and we have watched the memberships grow and the club thrive! The members become extended family and we have formed some awesome friendships from the club. The addition of the Kennesaw location is awesome! Currently executing a soft opening, the management and staff are working to perfect all systems and processes! A soft opening is a great opportunity for the employees to work through any challenges and for the members to help by providing their patience and input to further the progress (especially a facility implementing new, innovative and cutting edge technology never seen in the US until now). We have personally seen the transition from day one of the soft opening to today, it has been tremendous! We watch in awe as the membership numbers grow daily!! We meet awesome new folks everytime we are there! We cannot wait for the Grand Opening and to continue to enjoy this awesome facility!!!

Reviewing the staff as pleasant is an understatement - everyone has been amazing! And the She Crab soup is to die for! Becoming members has probably been one of the best investments we’ve ever made.

Nice clean facility. Great range with modern equipment! Indoor skeet was awesome! You have to check out the archery range and the INDOOR 100 yard rifle range!

The most modern and nicest indoor gun range Ive ever been to. The 100 yard lanes have a computer system that shows you where you hit, what your shot groups are, what MOA (or mrad) clicks are needed to zero in, its fantastic. I rarely give 5 star reviews but this one was easy.

This was the plan: FFL transfer to The Governors Club, pick up the firearm, join as a new member because everyone at work loves the place, fire the new gun, and enjoy a nice lunch. The plan never made it past step one. I cant even get hold of anyone to do the FFL transfer. Emails, voicemails, nothing. Its been almost a week. The company who sold me the firearm even asked, How big is this place? Do they only work on certain days? I cant get hold of anyone. So much for the dream plan.

I was there earlier and used their 100 yard range. Me and my son always go there to shoot at the 100 yard firing range at the basement and never have been charged with target fee in addition to the regular range fee. Today, after I used the 100 yard range I was charged for $5 target fee in addition to the firing range fee. I reasoned out to the attendant but he told me that the other guys who did not charge me with the target fee were not doing their job. Well, I dont know which one is the right one, charging the shooter with target fee in addition to the range fee or otherwise. I paid both anyway but Im hesitant to go back there anymore. I like the place though, very clean.

Me and my husband had just finished shooting right when the place was about to close and we saw the owner, Burt I believe, tell the employees that he was going to close up and shoot at the shotgun range. He had some friends with them and had beer in their hands. For a company that doesn’t allow alcohol when going shooting they sure do follow their own rules.

Overall a very nice facility. Range time is expensive when compared to other ranges in the area. If you are just looking to do some quick shooting Id suggest another range but this would be the place I would bring a date or new shooter because of how new and well lit the lanes are. The retail space is nice. Surprisingly they carry circle 10 ak 74 mags and stock merchandise from nordic components. I came in here to look for gloves and the only thing they had were the cheap browning shooting gloves so they should definitely expand their soft gear selection.This place would get 5 stars if they brought lane rentals down a bit and expanded their soft gear selection. One brand of gloves, cheap quality shooting gloves is a bit disappointing.

Great food at a good price, I always shoot a few hundred rounds with the family then eat after.
