This place is the real deal. Completely original and very underrated! The food is delicious and the guys cooking the food are cool. The process are great as well. From time to time you may get a cashier that doesnt speak English, but thats a minor thing that can be ignored. Highly recommend for classic and authentic food. Easy 4 stars

I havent had a chicken tostadas in a while. I was really craving them, so I bought two. So excited! It was just as I remembered them, very delicious!

Great local neighborhood grocery store with tons of authentic Mexican products canned and dry goods, spices and hats, piantas, jewelry and a diner with some of the best hand-made tamales. From time to time when I have a pot luck event occasionally Ill buy a few dozen which are modestly priced. This store is a real treasure.

Love the food!! If you havent tried it u need to!!! The staff is usually pretty cool unless your white. Then it just depends on the day.

Had a pork carnitas Huarache...wonderful Mexican taco...homemade hot and mild sauces had great flavor and were a great addition to the taco. Brings back memories of all my visits to Mexico city.Before you leave dont forget to get some tamales to go.

Tacos on Wednesday $1. I thought the meats in the tacos were decent but not the best Ive had, the pastor tacos tasted more like chorizo so the seasonings are wrong and its not coming from a spit. Ladies taking orders and cooking are friendly and fast.

Small store, but nice meat and deli counter with good food and good prices. The selection isnt as good as Gringo Loco or El Torito of Independence Ave, but way faster to get in and out. Theres a parking lot out back too, so dont worry about squeezing into the small lot on the side.The food isnt quite up to part with the other restaurants in the area, but the chicharrones are the best Ive ever tried. Its worth a stop just to get some of these beautiful pork crisps.
