Let me just say this place is amazing, the employees are very friendly and all have their own recommendations, I can’t wait to come back and try more! The Samoa Samoa was excellent but if you want one with a core the cookie crumble is the way to go! Both of them were sweet and salty which I really enjoy. Very nice that they have outdoor seating so you can enjoy your ice cream on a hot day.

Ice cream for looks is what it is. I thought it was a cool little place but our ice cream melted so fast. Very messy! I got the Basic B - didnt care for how thick (or plain tasting) the chocolate was and there was no salt on it which I thought it was supposed to have. The vanilla soft serve was basic.. And it was a bit expensive, $20 for 3 cones. Wont be my favorite ice cream shop but maybe to take out of towners to for an unusual experience.

This place is amazing if you like paying $7 for a generic soft serve cone with some basic toppings. No prices on the menu is a nice touch too; it really ties the grift together.

The fudge core center was disappointing (it was like 3 bites worth) . They should add waffle cones as an option. Also the paper around the cone sticks to it. Not really necessary since they give you a cone holder.

Okay, so the location and decor is amazing... but the ice cream was honestly not good. We ate about half of it, and just felt blah. They were out of vanilla, and had no fruity flavors other than something with fruity pebbles. We went with a mint chocolate one, and it was almost more salty then sweet in my opinion. At first I liked it! It seemed more adult then most places, but half way through i just could not finish it. It was way too salty, and lacked any specific flavor. The service was great though, and we liked the atmosphere- so I gave it three stars nevertheless! It might be for some people, but I could barley get through half while sharing it!

Pretty good place for ice cream. I believe the prices are reasonable.They need more trash cans outside.

Awesome ice cream place. I had the Samoa Samia simply because it was supposed to taste like the famous Girl Scout cookies I absolutely love. Honestly it didn’t taste at all like them but it was still amazing and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It’s pretty kid friendly as well and the kiddos love the cotton candy ice cream. Also the Samoa Samoa is Vegan 😊

I was excited to be back in Westport after many years as it’s great atmosphere with mouthwatering food and memory making spots. However, this fairly new place, Frozen Gold was the complete opposite of my high expectation. From the outside, it looked very appetizing, but it was an unfortunate disappointment. Not only did the ice cream melt quickly but also it was unbearable salty and sour. I would not recommend this place.

This place overall is what not I had expected at all. From having the food from inside and then the ice cream, it was a total let down. Ordered a thick mint but felt like i was eating salty mint with chocolate yogurt. Way too salty for Ice cream. Not to mention, it was very overly priced. 100% wouldn’t try again.

Had the Thick Mint. Lots of crumble on the outside, but not much flavor outside of salt. I normally like salt with chocolate, but this was a bit much. After I ate all the crumbles away the salty chocolate core was sub par and the chocolate ice cream had minimal chocolate flavor. Probably wouldnt have know it was chocolate if I didnt look. I wished the ice cream had more flavor and sugar. Seems like a good place to take Instagram photos, but needs more flavor in the ice cream before I come back. Hoping the issue with the ice cream was just the machine being on the fritz and leaking salt water into the mix.

Amazing made from scratch soft serve and toppings! Really fun flavor combinations and great environment.

A Less Than Expected Experience.1.The staff was really unfriendly/rude.2.Two of the ice cream creations we ordered were almost inedible, the taste and textures were so weird.We took our KCAI student daughter to Frozen Gold on our 2 day visit.It was an unfortunate choice.

Great local ice cream parlor, with a fantastic vegan option for those like myself. Can’t wait to see it grow and hopefully add more vegan options on the future
