Briefly stopped by since we live in West Kansas taking Carne for an Asada was a must. The people here are wonderful, it was packed which is always a good sign! The butcher was helpful with a lovely attitude. Decided to get a taco and my goodness. If you dont buy anything else at least buy a taco. Lastly I purchased a chamoy covered apple that I have yet to consume but I will definitely update

This place is fire. Amazing food. The tamales are best in town and the pastor tacos straight from the spit is about as good as it gets.

The butchers are always nice and willing to prep the meats any way you would like. Produce is way cheaper and better than the other Mexican stores. The staff always great and make sure you find what you need.

Bomb burritos at the right price. All the food here is good. They have great beef jerky here.

Used to love the food, but they have completely fell off. Meat is old and you can just tell nothing is done with care anymore.

Great tacos, probably one of the best in Kansas City. The sauces are amazing but they bring the fire 🔥 so be ready for the heat. The onion and cilantro are always super fresh and does not over power the flavor of the tacos themselves.

They sell great meat and freshly made warm corn tortillas.

This will be my last purchase. I come here often because it’s a great place to eat, I ordered the torta and it’s amazing!! However, it’s sucks to know one of your employees deliberately filled my cup of salsa verde half way with water. The lid had water markers and was wet. But nothing else in my container was.Come on now, we’re suppose to be supporting each other’s businesses, not sabotaging the experience.

Pretty good tacos. 4 carne asada tacos for 5.42 total after taxes. Not a bad deal.. good extras on the side. I would come back here - but I do think KcK has a couple spots Id put over this one. Definitely worth grabbing a bite at though! Ill be back

Their staff is pleasant, and the produce area is nicely organized with a decent array of items. I appreciate the fact that they sell a variety of crema (the Oaxaqueña is my favorite), and they even sell vegetarian chorizo for those who need or at least appreciate having that option. Its especially nice to know its there when you dont feel like making your own from scratch. As far as their hot foods go, their al pastor is some of the best in the city and their chili relleno is quite nice too.

First time there. Super great food in restaurant. Delicious! They have some vegetables that were hard to find in other stores.

Stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat. Had a chicken burrito. Really flavorful. This is a deli tucked in the front/side of the grocery store. I cant wait to try some of the other dishes. And I thought it was reasonably priced. The burrito was made fresh and I had it in maybe 5-7 min. I will be back.

Amazing tacos al pastor here. And the price cant be beat! Attached to a small grocery store with cool authentic Mexican choices. And fresh ice cream made in store too. Definitely worth checking out.

Listen Ive been to many authentic Mexican restaurants all over and none of them have anything on San Antonio. Best tacos best food in general. I recommended my whole family to eat here.

Great deal on the tacos! The arrangement of sauces, for said tacos, is a solid amount. If you want your mouth to taste flames and to go shopping immediately after, hit this place up.

Quesadillas and burritos here are good but the sauces are amazing, and a great price too, definitely a place to go for good mexican food.

Love this place. Great tacos. Lately theres been a different guy and only a single guy at the grill which is made it a little slower but luckily its been a little less busy so hasnt mattered as much. Also the spiciness of some of the salsa varies from time to time as a result of them making it fresh. This place makes me heart our teams Tuesday lunches.

Oh man, this is great authentic Mexican food. 4 for 5 tacos, you choose and apply the toppings yourself, and everything is tasty and well-prepared. They also sell their meat and tortillas for home cooking. Great place, glad I found it!

Went here for the little eatery they have inside of the grocery store. I just moved to KC from South Texas and this is the most authentic Mexican food Ive been able to find so far. San Antonio would be proud; this place wears that name very well.
