Cute hangout place with delicious snow cones. I don’t even like snow cones but I love this place! Very unique and a cute outdoor environment for teens to come and hangout during the summer months.

I love tropical snow! Their snowcones are always so fluffy (the ice is shaved really well) and they have so many flavor options! The guys that worked the last time we went were so much fun and new how to be entertaining with the customers without being intrusive. They had us all laughing. It was a great time and great product! Also, the spoons that change color with temperature are really fun for the kids. My only complaint is that they dont have more locations! 😁

Great attitudes and a really funny staff. They made our kids laugh multiple times and even replaced a snow cone that my youngest spilled about 5 minutes after starting it. No charge, and we didnt even ask - they just saw/heard her do it and immediately made her a new one just to be nice.Great spot to stop and enjoy yourself, and there are multiple choices. They even make one for dogs.

Holy. Tropical. Sno. This is the best shaved ice I have had outside of Hawaii! My grandparents lived in HI my entire childhood and this place is the real deal. Heard their is another in Waldo now but Tropical Sno is the BEST IN KC for sure! This place has good service and deserves a good review. Ive only had one incident. I was handed my shaved ice and had it for only 5 sec before the top slide off. (This was about half the product) I was informed that their rule is if they hand it to you and it falls they will not replace it. I was not happy about it but I purchased another shaved ice. I also have not visited this business since the incident. Ill get over it one day. Product taste great.

Best snow cone place in town. The cones are huge, the ice is delicate and fine, the flavors are many and varied, and the extras are free. They even have a ton of sugar free flavors. Plus, theyre always nice.

The people are always fun and friendly and every flavor weve tried is fantastic. If you havent been there before, give Wedding Cake a try! Stellar cones and always way bigger than the cup and than youre expecting.

Cant go wrong with some shaved ice! Abundance of flavors to choose from and many preselected combos. I recommend the Dreamsicle!

I went to the location on 85th street and it is awesome! Ive waited years to have shave ice this good again. Dont buy a snow cone unless its this good.

Delicious but a bit expensive. I personally would rather save a little cash and not have all the frilly little extras like the color change spoon and the wierd cup that is supposed to minimize the mess I suppose cool for kids I guess

Amazing. I passed this while heading to another restaurant for dinner and decided it would make a better dessert. It was the highlight of the trip. I was expecting the same hard ice balls and mixed up flavors that I had as a kid. This was something totally different. The ice was so light that the flavors seemed to fuse to it. I added one of the pucker packs which really boosted the flavor. Ive been to the trendy sno cone places in midtown and the crossroads and none of them beat this sno cone. My only complaint is that it isnt closer to me, otherwise I would have already been back a couple of times.

The consistency and awesomeness of snow, with an abundance of mouth watering flavors! Plus its relatively cheap, which I cant beat as a college student!
