Very impressed with these guys. First time doing business with them. I had 200+ barstools reupholstered and repaired. The communication was great and quality of work was outstanding. Hope we can do more business in the future.

Re upholstered some seats off my tritoon/boat, everyone else in the kc greater area was booked out until October/November, RAMOS did it in two weeks, and they look great!

I spent a lot of time researching and searching for the very best upholstery shop. And, I found it in Kansas City, 250 miles from my home. Ramos Upholstery first reupholstered an antique executive chair that required difficult leather work with symmetrical rounded corners and no seams. Perfect. They next reupholstered a 100-year-old cane back couch and matching rocking chair with complimenting period correct material. Perfect. If you are extremely particular and highly value skilled craftsmanship, unique creativity, exceptional attention to detail and a product that exceeds impossible standards, this is your place.

I showed up for my appointment with them 10 minutes early. Not a single person was in the whole building. I yelled hello in case someone was downstairs, no response. I waited for over 15 minutes past my appointment time. I never saw anyone. I called the phone number listed in the email confirming my appointment, no one answered. Terrible customer service.

This is skilled trade work like any other and you’re going to pay highly for it, but if your piece is an antique or too costly to replace like this ancient forklift seat ($1200 for a new one), you’ll be glad you used these guys. They got this done faster than I could go back to pick it up. Just email them your project and they’ll give you a quote pretty quickly. Face it-you’re never going to refurbish your grandma’s old chair. Just pay these guys the money and be done with it. Their location is worth driving to from anywhere in the metro and I’m pleased to see that this little stretch of KCK is looking really clean cut these days. I noticed that they have some vehicles in the back, so if you’d like to save yourself some backache, looks to me like they could just pick it up for you. I’ll definitely go back for the next project.

Had recliner reupholstered. Received reasonable estimate for requested work. Could not be more pleased with the quality workmanship.

Poorest customer service experience. Does not return calls or emails. Scheduled a service twice and failed to show up or call both times. Never apologized or followed up. Horrible disservice to a customer that contacted them because of their reputation.

I brought in a large white couch cushion for repair. When I picked it up it had aquired an extreamly obvious 1 foot x 3 inch wide oily stain in the centre. I asked What happened ?They said Oh, it was that way when you brought it in. Hmmm,,, Absolutely not true,,,,if that were true I would have confirmed the stain could be removed before I would have wasted money mending the cushion.My advice, next time, take pictures.
