They didn’t want to sell me the spirits. I showed my ID (I am 43), my 21 yo son was with me but he didn’t have his driver’s license. Because he touched the bottles they refused to sell. I was buying it for myself and my husband, I was going to pay. Well… my son went to get his ID, I told them he will be back in 10 min. After he came they took away all the spirits I choose so we had to shop again. It’s really absurd. There was a guy with his daughter after us and they didn’t ask for her ID and sold him alcohol. We got really treated bad and never coming back.

Really good selection of top shelf craft beers! They didnt have the alcohol that I was looking for, but they did have a huge selection!

This is an awesome beer & liquor store for the Liberty, MO and neighboring areas! The location is huge and carries an extensive variety of beer, wine, liquor, just about anything you could want! The prices are also extremely competitive. The day we visited they had Kim Crawford (sauvignon blanc) for $11.98, by far the cheapest Ive ever seen it! Its really amazing how much inventory they have available. Its definitely worth checking out, especially if youre looking for a specialty item!

Best liquor store in KC but please understand that my rating is from someone who ONLY buys tequila. I see a lot of wine and other stuff but just dont really buy them so maybe I shouldnt comment on them. Definitely has the best and biggest selection of tequila, best prices and most registers open to make your purchase quicker than other places. Try here first always. 3 stores and the one in Overland Park is the best selection. If youre a tequila drinker then Ill tell you me and friends spend hundreds on tequila monthly and I have been to liquor stores in place like Vegas and ordered online too. This is definitely top class even compared to Vegas stores. Better price and better selection.

This is a fairly new store in this location, so I visited the store since it had a huge Grand Opening banner outside. This store is HUGE and therefore has an INCREDIBLY HUGE inventory. Hundreds of choices for every type of wine and distilled spirits and mixers and pre-mixed beverages and ....... !!! The incredible thing is when I mentioned the size of the store to one of the employees, he said this store was half the size of their other stores in other parts of the metro. The prices also seemed lower than the liquor prices in Hy-Vee and Price Chopper, where I usually shop for adult beverages. I tried to take pictures to represent how large this store is, but the pictures dont do it justice!!! And just one last comment....... this store is huge (in case I didnt emphasize that enough!!!) 😁 😂

Refused to sell alcohol because they thought an underage person touched the bottles. The bottles were put back and they forced us to shop for them again. They forcefully took them away and put them back on the shelves. Awful treatment of customers, fortunately there are other places to shop at.

Stopped here to get local KC craft beer that we can’t get in Minnesota. Nice selection although can’t help but compare it to Total Wine where we shop in Minnesota. It’s hard to beat Total Wine for selection, store layout and atmosphere.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. This is truely a great way to run a business, any business. As far as their selection, it is top notch. Not the best I have ever seen, there are some missing bottles that you were expecting to find, but you will always find quality and lots of it. Oh, and did I mention, the people here are really friendly.

A lot of stuff! Just wish they had a better selection of pre-chilled white wines. And dont even acknowledge the special bottles room unless you are ready to walk out a bunch of dollars lighter.

Great people and great selection! I lived by the main location in Martin City and was happy to see one close to my new home. I was looking for a high end bourbon to share with my father as his last wish. The the was great with helping me find the perfect bottle. I expected to spend close to $400-$500 but the prices were much better than I imagined.

Lukas is great! The selection is amazing! The employees are helpful and the prices are good! I dont know what more a person could want in a liquor store. They even have a good selection of non-alcoholic beers!

Every time I have went up to Lukas I have had an amazing experience. The staff is very knowledgeable about their huge selection. They special ordered the big box of Tank 7 for me and have gone above expectations. I like how the managers are very knowledgeable about their sections they run also. I’m very impressed with their smooth running operation. That’s my new liquor store!

I started shopping at Lukas shortly after their grand opening and was amazed with the selections they had. The manager, Dave, has an amazing knowledge of all their products. I originally went to Lukas looking for bourbon. I’m a fairly new bourbon connoisseur and he took the time to not only show me different types and blends while also educating me on them. If I run in looking for something different like a summer type cocktail he’s full of great ideas.My wife is a wine drinker and I like to try to surprise her with different types to try, however I’m not very knowledgeable about wines. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and not judgmental with my limited knowledge and desire to limit the cost. Larry was a wealth of knowledge and has suggested several different types of wine in different price ranges of which we’ve definitely found favorites. We continue to go back and they recognize us every time and are always fun and super helpful!

I like the store. The one south is much better and has a bigger selection and more friendly. Was in this store 4-9 looking for a specific whiskey. No one around. Prob spent 10 min looking. Finally went with my son to pick out a mixed 6pack that you make you own. See one person helping s female around the store like a puppy and after he helped her went over to the vendor with the other 2 associates and were just chatting for a while. I decided to go ask where or if they had this specific whiskey and they all broke up and went different directions and were gone to the back or all the way to the front of the store. I dont ask for special treatment but just basic customer service when there is 5-6 people working in this store and 3 customers. You would figure at least one person would ask if your doing all right or if you were finding everything. Not even the cashier asked until I said I was a little upset at the customer service. He said they had what I was looking for but by this point I was done. I will do my shopping somewhere else. This one is not that close to home but would rather go to the south location if I go to Lucas wine. Good luck guys you lost my sale. Maybe my days was a fluke. But who knows

This place has anything you can think of and great prices on top of it. The staff is always helpful and friendly too. Every weekend they have local vendors in store with samples. My wife and I come here every week.

They had a large selection. But not what I was looking for. Also prices on the items I looked at were the same price as hyvee. Seems like a superstore would have better prices.

I had an order for pickup. I made the order at 7:05pm and got there at 7:30pm. Waited till 8:30pm and no one came out, I called the store several times no answer. I left and sent an email. Got a email at 8:30 am the next morning that my order was ready to pick up. No apology no answer, nothing.

Lukas has a huge selection of beer, wine, and spirits and their prices are very fair. They have the capacity to bring in tons of products including funky varieties of liquors, holiday and seasonal spirits, and tons of craft beer. The prices on the items I looked at were either the same price as other liquor stores (grocery chains) or cheaper.

Its where I buy my Tank 7. Usually get 3 cases at a time. They give you 10 percent off if you buy 4 - 6 packs. Prices are good too. Cant say i like the carts though but I can deal with that.

Theses guys also have the booze, but less.

A buddy bought me a gift card. Selection was amazing. I bought tequila and triplesec. Unfortunately they didnt have plain lime juice or limes. Gift card was to a different Lukas store. They were still able to take it, but had to call the other store to verify the balance. Customer service was excellent.

And on top of that they have the best scotch selection in Kansas City. My wife really loves their wine selection she says they have the best selection of reds that she is seen. Without a doubt the best liquor store up north. Huge selection. Vendors are giving samples all the time. You won’t find more choices for beer, liquor, or wine within a 20 minute drive of this place. The prices are right in line with every other store also. They even have a locked room for high dollar options.

I drove an hour to get to this place and they told me they had the beer I was looking for, and they would hold it. When i arrived it was the wrong beer, staff is horrible at their jobs and have little to no knowledge of the products!

Big selection and decent prices

Lukas is a large liquor store with a large stock of Beer, Wine, and Spirits. Their prices are pretty good and usually better than other stores in the area. The staff are helpful and nice. Definitely recommend them to anyone.

If a liquor store could be a Menards equivalent in diversity of products and classifications, this would be that store. My head was spinning with the variety of wines, beers, and spirits. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Even more fortunate, Lukas is on my way to Menards. Win-win!

Last spring I ordered case of beer they normaly dont carry. I was told case would be approx 30 or 40 dollars. When i picked it up it was $70 for the case!!! I never would have ordered if I knew it was that expensive! Havent been back since.

A wide variety of beer, wine, and liquor. Takes forever trying to decide on what to get. If they sold EKU, I would have given a 5 star.

They have great prices

Its okay. The staff is super nice and always helpful and friendly. They have a good selection of wine, beer, liquor. A lot of the seasonal selections seem to always be one season behind. The reason it isnt a 5 star for me though is the IPA selection. Most of their IPAs are too old and not enjoyable. IPAs need to be as fresh as possible, definitely no more than 2-3 months old. I have seen some seriously old IPAs on their shelves and in their fridge. I would never get an IPA from their build your own 6 pack selection. If you are not an IPA drinker than this is a great spot.

Gigantic store with excellent selection. Im not a wine person, but their wine selection is nonpareil. They have very aggressive pricing as well, so its anywhere from 5-25% cheaper than pretty much any other store in the area. Im just glad I dont have to drive 20 or 30 minutes to find a decent liquor store.
