From the initial phone call to my car service completion this business has exceeded my expectations! They are efficient, friendly and trustworthy. I waited too long to get my brakes serviced and had gotten quotes from other places way out of my price range. Matt was able to get me that day and I was able to wait in their lobby. We have been taking our cars here for years they are honest and trustworthy. They are wonderful guys and truly care about their customers. There have been plenty of times when they have advised against making a repair based on cost age of car etc. We have kid clunker cars and they will always tell us what we can get away without fixing. I really appreciate their honesty. For our other nicer cars they are equally honest - They get us in and out and never take advantage of us or try to tag on extra things that aren’t 100% necessary. They just fix what needs to be fixed period. They have also told us when they don’t feel comfortable fixing something and give me advice on who best to go to. I can’t say enough how fantastic these guys are!

I didnt have any work done today however I can report a positive experience. The boys put my car up on the rack and were able to quickly diagnose my issues provide a quote and advice.

We are lucky to have Pro Brake and Muffler. We were out with our young kids in the car and had a belt break 30 minutes from home when we should have been quarantining like everyone else. Pro Brake and Muffler were amazing and willing to help at a moments notice. Matt was great to work with and helped lighten what could have been a tense mood. These guys did a quick last minute inspection on a Friday. I called two other shops but they couldnt help me. Ive never had a bad experience at Pro Brake.

They told me what I needed and explained everything clearly. They were very honest with me about what was most needed and the cost of repairs versus the value of the car. Absolutely will go to them again. I didn’t get the manager’s name, but he was really great.

They got our car back to normal...I was worried at first because I didnt know where the loud rumbling sound was coming from under our car. But, when they fixed the muffler, and I started the engine and did not hear the sound anymore all I could do was praise The Lord. Thanks Max and the entire Pro Break & Muffler team! Straight forward pricing.. get it done attitude.. same day service. Not the fanciest place but they are well equipped. Also, they respect the idea of social distancing.

The lobby is closed due to the pandemic, so its drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. The service and pricing always exceeds my expectations.

If you need help with your car, call and ask for Matt. He is a straight shooter. If he can fix it, he will. The prices are fair and his guys are good. Maybe not fast, but good. Great place to get your shizzle fixed up right.

I realized I let my brakes go too far and I needed help fast. This shop came in when I really needed it, and I am thrilled with everything! Great customer service, reasonably priced, and quick!

The wheel bearing went out on my car and I had to travel the next day. They were able to diagnose the issue I suspected and took the time to show me the other side was in equally bad condition preventing me from having to find a future time to drop my car off again. Even with the additional work they fixed me up and I was back on the road that afternoon. I was very pleased with my experience.

Fast, friendly, and fixed! I thought Id have to leave my vehicle for the day, but the mechanics finished in an hour or so while I waited. The cost of the repairs was the best deal Ive ever had at a garage! I absolutely recommend this establishment.

I have not had major work done there, but every time I come in, the guys are friendly and never try to sell me on anything. They seem to be honest and forthcoming and with auto repairs that is as good as the repair itself. I recommend this place for anyone seeking auto work. And if the guys who work there read this, Ill keep bringing my pathfinder back.

I went to see these guys because of the reviews online, to place my muffler and tailpipe back on the car after having resisted enough to fall off in the street. They put the car on the rack and showed me what was wrong, told me they would try to make the existing pet work by repairing it - as the replacement part was very expensive. 45 minutes of waiting and a fair price later, my car was repaired and I was on the road again. I will be returning when in need of vehicle repairs.TL;DR They explained the problem and fixed it quickly for a fair price, without trying to upsell unneeded repairs.

Trustworthy, honest, reliable, affordable. These are words I would use to describe Pro Brake & Muffler on Wornall. My GF has used them 3 times now for her Chevy Equinox. Each visit we were surprised at how affordable the repairs were, and they certainly dont try to up-sell at all. They fix what needs fixing and do it right, no more no less. Its hard to find a mechanic shop you can trust these days. I would highly recommend their services to any of my friends or family.

Great experience!!! These guys are very honest and saved me $600 by not performing unnecessary work. They helped me when I had a time constraint even though they were very busy. I will take all my brake and muffler work to them in the future!

If you have any issue with your car you should take it to Pro Brake & Muffler. My car broke down. I had it towed to Pro Brake and told them what happened and that I wasnt sure what was wrong. They looked at it and had it ready in 2 hours. They didnt try to jack up the price for my service. You CANNOT beat fast and fair service.This was the first major issue that Ive had with my car. I went to Pro Brake at the recommendation of a friend. I plan to go back to Pro Brake for all of my future car service.

My go-to place. I often fear that as a younger female I may be getting ripped off places, but they always work to fix any issues I have and make it right for a very reasonable price, while explaining to me what is wrong and why. I recommend them to all my friends.

I have been going to these guys for years. They do great work and are honest. They are not the best at calling when the work is finished but they always get it done by the end of the day.

The guys at Pro Brake & Muffler are wonderful! I needed assistance with a tire issue and was running late to a few things that morning. A couple places had already told me they could get me in late in the afternoon or the following day. Pro Brake & Muffler told me to come on in and the would take care of me as soon as they could. Once I arrived, they jumped on taking care of the issue and I was in and out.The customer service is exceptional! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

My car had an axle break as I was driving past their shop. Some of their guys came out and immediately knew what the problem was. Then they actually helped me to push my car across Wornall during busy noon traffic, pushed it right into the bay, and had my car fixed and driving away in 30 minutes. All for a very fair price. Cant recommend these guys more

Awesome job! I took my car in thinking it needed new brakes bad, my bearrings were going out and they didnt try to tell me I needed both done! Had it done by that afternoon! And they had awesome prices. I called and checked around once they told me what was wrong with my car. I will be back!

I had my radiator replaced around March of 2014. By December, the new radiator was leaking, but I didnt realize where exactly the leak was coming from. I brought it back to Pro Brake & Muffler, and they replaced it under warranty, no questions asked. Great service!

I have visited this shop 5-6 times with my different cars. I usually deal with Dan, and he has always been good to me. The times that I have shopped around for pricing Pro Brake is usually one of the lower bids.I only had a problem with a repair once. I drove off the lot and heard a scraping sound as I drove. I did a U-turn back into Pro Brake, then Dan took a look in the parking lot noticing that there was a piece of shielding that was sticking out. He bent it back into place and I was on my way.Once I got a cheap Groupon for an oil change at Johnson County Automotive. Along with the oil change, they found three pages worth of recommended repairs totaling over $1,200. I took the list to Pro Brake and told them that if any of that stuff really needed to be done, that I would pay them to do it. Pro Brake didnt find that ANY of the work needed to be done, and didnt charge me to look. that was over a year ago, and I havent had any problems.Today, I dropped my car off for an oil change. When I was called and told that the car was ready for pick-up, I was also told that they found that the car was leaking oil because the oil plug was wearing out. They went ahead and replaced the plug free of charge. Its only a $7 part, but I appreciate the good service.The only complaint that I have with Pro Brake is that sometimes they arent very good on staying in touch. There have been times that I called to see when my car would be ready, only to learn that it had been ready for several hours.

My grandsons girl friend took her car to the large name brand tire shop for brakes. They quoted her around $600. Luckily my grandson was with her and called me to get my idea. I was once a service manger for this very company. I told him to button the car up and go to Pro Brake for a second opinion. The lady at the tire store told her the car was unsafe to drive off the lot.Pro Brake looked it over and did the job that was needed for $195. My son had a simular experience with large nation brake franchise. He was quoted $500 and it turned out after going to another place it only needed adjustment to rear brakes for $50.My experience with the big franchise tire and muffler places is they to try and sell you ever thing possible . When quoted big prices on car work get a second opinion.

The owner was rude and mechanics didnt want to make eye contact. My car is having suspension issues. Theyd try to get one thousand dollars out of my pocket do to my skin color. I wouldnt recommend this company to those who isnt familiar with these people.

Everything. I went there with an odd request. I had a rod that was necessary to hang up a large birdfeeder that had broken loose and needed to be welder so we could feed the birds. About 20 minutes later I was out of there and he refused to take any money for it even after I insisted. As s result at least 50 songbirds are very happy.Before I left I found out that they do everything mechanical on cars and not just brakes and mufflers. I told him about all the good reviews I had seen on Google and that my family would be patronizing his business for our auto needs in the future. I already told my son to take his Subaru to him right away for an aggravating noise that that others have been unable to silence. I am confident that they will fix it at a reasonable cost.Thank you Pro Brake on Wornall at 76th.

Took my truck in for the safety inspection. They tried to pull a fast one on me and charge me for work that didnt need to be done. Mechanic mixed up the type of brakes on the rear of my truck. Will not be going back.
