Blake and his Team got me in right away to change out a bad tire I had.The last place I had tires done used an impact and wrecked the key for the wheel lock. Had a flat tire Friday night and came in early Saturday morning hoping they could take care of me and my flat tire with no appointment being made. Was in and out within 90 minutes. Great work done by the front desk and team at Boulevard Tires & Service.

The customer service here is above and beyond! They got me in for my flat tire 10 minutes before they closed. They pumped up my spare tire, put it on, and kept my tire with the nail in it and had it patched the very next day. Everyone was so friendly!

My wife drove over a bungee cord hook on the highway and I just knew this would not be an easy or inexpensive replacement. I went to Boulevard based on the vast majority of reviews here on Google. They had it repaired and ready to pickup in 24 hours, even though they were clearly swamped.The kicker was, as I started to roll it out, the GM Eric offered to help me change it out with the spare. Pulled it into the bay, and he got it done, in the rain.That was above and beyond, and will definitely go back and recommend them to folks looking for auto service on Southwest Blvd.

I stumbled upon this tire shop in 2014, and I AM SO GLAD!! I havent bought tires or tire services anywhere else since then. Boulevard Tires earned my trust back in 2014 when they saved me over $100 by repairing a flat tire after another shop in town told me theyd have to replace the whole thing. Over the years, Ive trusted them with numerous flat tires, oil changes, and tire replacements, and they consistently deliver friendly, timely service at reasonable / competitive prices. I also think its worth mentioning that I have never once felt talked down to and nobody there has ever called me honey or sweetie. (If youre a woman, you can likely attest that women dont always get the same respect as men at car shops, unfortunately.)What could be better than that?? Well, Im glad you asked. All of my experiences with Boulevard Tire have been routine and uneventful, except the most recent one, which is the reason Im writing this review. Last year, I had 2 tires replaced, and after I picked up my car, I discovered they had made a somewhat costly mistake. When I addressed them about the problem, they took ownership and fixed everything to my satisfaction at no additional cost to me. Wow! I think the true test of a good business is not how they act when everything is going right; its how they handle their business when something occasionally goes wrong (everyone makes mistakes, after all)!! Their professionalism and willingness to make it right is what has made me a customer for life! A+

Ive been going to Boulevard Tire & Service for 6 maybe 7 years now, just never wrote a review. Cant say enough about how well they operate their business and treat customers. Simple, fair, transparent, no B.S., full of integrity -- Never tried to sell me more than I need, and never let me get more service than I need.Example from 5 years ago: My Toyota Venza had a front CV joint go out. They told me given the age of my car, they had to order Toyota OEM parts (~$700 total job cost); then out of the blue, these guys realize Im still under the 5 year/60K miles warranty. They even called Toyota, gave them my VIN, and effectively lost out on $600-700 worth of business in order to maintain their integrity, and sent me back to Toyota (thanks Blake!) -- They got a 12 pack of Blvd Beer for the kindness.Fast forward this week: I had a puncture, they found out it was on the sidewall. I didnt realize Id only so recently got a new set of tires ~1 year ago; they warranted it out for a brand new tire, no paperwork/no hassle, sent me on my way (thanks Eric!)No question, go to Blvd Tire & Service.

An example of their service...I got my sway bar fixed, the part broke again and they replaced it for free, however, the first part wasnt the right one, so i had to wait for them to get another one (about a week) they fixed it plus gave me a free oil change for the inconvenience. highly recommend.

They are a benchmark to see if other mechanics are charging too much, or wanting you to do unneeded repairs. They stand by their work and will fix anything they overlooked as well. Smacked a curb and popped two tires. They got my car on the lot same day. They quickly gave me an accurate and honest diagnosis and were consistently very knowledgeable and friendly.Couldnt get out of work on time and i ended up having to sprint the 2 miles to the shop and got there ten minutes after closing… the dude knew i was coming and WAITED FOR ME?! Walked in and dude was wearing a hawaiin shirt and was all grins.He gave me a 50 dollar discount and comped the alignment and said next time call if i need a ride.932 dollars was insanely upsetting and expensive but at the end of the day they were special tires that he got same day and the customer service was absolutely legendary. Love this spot. If i need tires again they have my business.

This. Is. The. Best. Car Repair. Shop. In. The. City. Took my 98 ford explorer in thinking it was an alternator. I was ready to give them $400. It was battery connecter cable or something and they cleaned it and did not charge me. I only paid for the oil change. Honest. Kind. Fair. Amazing customer service.

The prices draw you in. The customer service makes you feel like family. Boulevard tire had plenty of options for my car. The service was quick, and the waiting area is spacious. I saved a lot of money going here. I will definitely be returning for more service.

It’s Monday morning so of course I get a flat—leaving me stranded. But within LESS THAN 30 MINUTES I spoke with the owner who assured me he could help. Steve was sent to my location and assisted in putting on my spare. Steve was quick, efficient, and had me on the road again in less than 10 minutes! Because of them my Monday wasn’t ruined before lunch time. Highly recommend!!

Replaced my horn and they dented my quarter-panel. Never did get it fixed correctly. I spent days there waiting and even left the car for a day to pick it up with the dent still there and misaligned bumper. The mechanic left my car super greasy on car interior too which the owner set him straight on.That being said Blake - one of the owners - was very helpful and nice and even picked me up. I just wish they would have fixed it correctly. I had to pay to have someone else repair it.I have mixed feelings here - owner is cool but mechanics screwed up my SUV. My other dealings with them were good though. 8 months later still finding grease spots on interior door panels from mechanic. Really super disappointed Blvd Tires didnt rectify any of this other than offering me a free regular oil change in future. I guess Ill go elsewhere.

They were quick to email and provided a solution to repair the flat instead of trying to up sell me on new tires. That kind of business practice goes a long way. I moved to KC two years ago from NC and during the move got a nail through my tire. I found this place online and since then, Ive never taken my car anywhere else. Fast service, great prices. Recently, my 2005 Honda stopped being able to shift gears intermittently, stranding me several times when I couldnt get my car out of or in to park. Over the course of two weeks, the staff at Boulevard tire tried various replacement parts to get to the root issue, never charging me more than the initial visit and keeping my car for several days to troubleshoot the issue. I appreciate their dedication!

I didn’t think a car tire and service place could go above and beyond, but they have, so they’ll have my business as long as I have a car. I always tell my friends to come here.

Just went here for the first time and had a wonderful experience! I needed an oil change last minute before I drove my car across the state and they were able to fit me in with very little notice. The staff were very friendly, and I asked them to take a look at my brakes while they were doing my oil change because they started to sound a little “gritty” and like they needed to be changed. They checked them for me and told me that I didn’t need them changed now, but would need to get them replaced during my next oil change...AKA they didn’t nickel and dime me and try to get me to pay for something I didn’t need at the moment, which is SO RARE for an auto service center. Overall, very honest, kind staff, and QUICK. I was in and out in 25 minutes and it was one of the cheapest oil changes I’ve had in a while. Thank you, Boulevard Tires KC team! I will definitely be bringing my car here for all of my future needs.

I was so excited when I read the reviews of this place, its close to our house, its affordable, its a locally owned business, but I am INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED with this place!!!!!!My husband and I brought in our car this morning, we noticed a screw in one of our tires. Our service was prompt and very affordable, we were happy when we left the office. As we approached our car, we noticed a screw in a different tire, *facepalm* we should have noticed but we didnt. So we went back in, they took care of us in 30 minutes, or so we thought.After leaving the second time, we get home to see the second nail we discovered was still in the tire, even though we were just charged for its removal and tire patch. So we call the shop, explain that there has been a mistake and the nail was still in the tire, and head back down to get it repaired.Upon arrival we get to the front desk with the desk clerk, and the mechanic who I assume worked on our vehicle, as well as the owner of the shop. We were not rude, we were not confrontational, we were a little frustrated, as we had just been charged for a service that we did not receive, and so far I had missed a half day of work on this. But we were still respectful, because being rude to people just isnt very productive.The mechanic begins to argue with my husband and the front desk associate about our car. We were very clearly interrupting his break, he was not pleased. He claims that there was no screw in the tire. but then 30 seconds later he says the screw was removed and and the tire patched. In less than a minutes time he has contradicted himself. He continued to argue like a petulant child about which tire needed repair, claiming he checked all four tires (which he obviously did not do, or he would have seen the very large nail embedded in my tire), insinuating that my husband was lying about the tires, and shirking responsibly of the mistake that he clearly made. After the tire was repaired we werent charged again, which confirms to us that the mistake was on their part, not ours.Now, Im not a the customer is always right kind of persons... but I do know what a very large screw embedded in a tire looks like. To insinuate that we didnt know what we were talking about, or that we were lying, was incredibly rude and extremely unprofessional. While all of this is taking place, the owner of the shop sat there while his employee (who again, was in the wrong here) was openly rude and frankly disrespectful to my husband and I.***Quick shout out to Front Desk Guy, he was very professional the whole time****Clearly, there are people there that know how to work on cars, and they dont charge an arm and leg either, but this place is FAR FROM PROFESSIONAL!!!!!!! They wont be getting my money again, and I will be telling everyone I know about their level of professionalism or lack thereof.

I will never go anywhere else! They have never once tried to charge me for something I didn’t need. Always friendly and honest.

Will not take appointments. So brought car in just after 9am as instructed. Was told it would be later that day, possibly next day. No word later, so went up at 5pm (close at 6) and they had not even touched my vehicle! It was my only day off to do that this week and had to arrange to borrow a vehicle. Took my keys and left. WASTE OF TIME! Heard negative from many others as well. Spend your $ elsewhere!

They recently redid the reception and seating area and it looks phenomenal! David is definitely an asset and they probably arent paying him what he is worth.

I went there yesterday (with no appointment) after getting a flat tire on my way to work. I picked this place because of all the positive reviews and I was not disappointed! They had me up and running in less than 40 minutes and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Had a flat tire to start my weekend off and I was doubtful I would get it fixed sooner rather than later...I googled tires near me and this place popped up, reviews looked good and location for me was under two miles. Looking go as far,so I called at 8:15 this morning praying they could help! Got an answer on the second ring and explained what happened, he said absolutely bring it on in and well get it patched up! I was surprised and elated that they were able to get it handled today. I now have a new tire, and was on my way before noon and the price for the new tire was decent price! We were visiting KC from Canada when a protruding construction barrier slashed through our tire. We had to get the tire repaired the same day. After calling a few places, Boulevard Tire was the one that fit us in. The service was prompt and courteous. Prices were reasonable. We left with a very good impression of KC based on this experience.

On a hot hot hot summer afternoon I came out of work to a flat tire. Some nice gents offered to help but to my surprise my lug wrench was warped. BOULEVARD TIRES was the closest tire shop around the two gents took me my tire and warped wrench to Vince at BOULEVARD and Vince jumped into action to meet my needs even going so far to allow us to borrow a wrench that would work !!! We went back to my car ,did the change and I immediately returned to Boulevard Tires to fix my flat. Vince was right there to assist with getting my tire out and James did an amazing job patching my tire!!! They were kind, fast and super funny!!!. Today my faith in man has been restored! These guys just put new tires and brakes on my Prius and did a phenomenal job. The shop owner took the time to explain why he recommended the tires he did and the brake pads he recommended. I felt very much respected and heard when I took my car in. I would highly recommend this place for anyone nervous about taking their car in to a shop.

Excellent shop! Quality guys who take the time to explain everything from the fees (which there arent extra of!) to the parts to what exactly you need done on your car. Ive shopped around price wise and they always come up the cheapest and are done incredibly efficiently. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Honest. !!! I will definitely make the 45 minute drive here and tell others about this place. I called today to get a part fixed on my car, I never asked them to check it I just took the word of the other shop(that was closed today !!!) . They let me know that nothing was wrong with the piece and offered to check other things when I told them what my car was doing and also before I left he let me know some other things I should keep an eye on. I really appreciate their honesty even my dad said hell recommended people to them and grabbed a business card. The guy at the front desk was nice also. I didnt catch the mechanic name it wasnt on his shirt but THANKS! for what yall did today, yall have no idea.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I took my vehicle to another shop to get my brakes fixed. After 4 months, I still had the same issues. The staff here did a thorough job and found out the real issue. I have taken all of our vehicles here for service. I have referred friends and family here as well. The prices are competitive an they can generally get your car in and out. They are honest and accurate with the time frame needed.

This is a very professional establishment that i have watched grown and better them selves over the years. They have great customer service as well.

Very friendly and they got to my car quickly. My car was grinding so I needed new brake pads. I was concerned they would try to talk me into new rotors since my car was grinding a little bit. They were upfront and told me the rotors were in fine condition. Im not trying to brag on the condition of my rotors, just pointing out the fact that they could have tried to sell me new ones and I would not have been any wiser. I also had them look at the TPMS. A previous repair shop told me the batteries were dead and it would be $80+ each to fix. Here, they said they tested them and that the sensors were fine. They also could have tried to up-sell me on the sensors but did not. Instead, they just reset the monitor at no cost. I feel like I got a fair price on both parts and labor. Id highly recommend.

Staff was friendly, service was prompt and reasonably priced. Overall a great experience. Gave 4 stars only because of the parking situation, which is purely a loction issue and is of no fault of the staff. I will continue going regardless because of how fantastic service is! Would recommend to a friend.

I have dropped this place as my go-to repair shop.This place is one of those honest repair shops you always hope for. Great prices, hard workers, non-condescending, and kind.My window was stuck rolled-down and they called shops and salvage yards to replace the part - to no avail. They still rolled it up and only charged me for about an hour of time - not bad.Theyve also been honest with me when I brought in the car with a flat. Turns out that it wasnt flat, the tire valve stem had come loose. They tightened it and filled the tire - didnt charge me a thing.I can continue with examples because I always bring my car here now; they never fail to meet expectations of honesty and quality.

This may be the most friendly/cheerful company in Kansas City. I enjoy using them as a vendor, because they take such great care of us!I called them late in the day yesterday for a tire replacement. One of my tires had a gouge taken out of it from the driver (not me) hitting a curb. Eric said, Bring it in, I will take care of it. I was like, You dont even know what tires I have! He said, It doesnt matter, I can get the tire you need. The next morning at 9am he had the exact matching tire in and put it on for me. 5-star service for sure!

This place is the best. Vince is a GREAT mechanic. I would tell anyone to go here for all your service needs on your vehicle. I am very confident in the work that Vince does on my car. He even helped me out when he wasnt working in the shop. He is a VERY knowledgeable mechanic. He diagnosed the problem accurately. I will never take my car to anyone else to have work done. Any reviews that indicate these guys arent honest and trustworthy are patently false, and should be disregarded. Ive been going to these guys for 10+ yrs, and have never had any issues whatsoever with them. Eric and all the other guys have never been anything but polite, informative, and Ive never seen them try to up-sell anything not needed.

Alright now; it has been a long time since I have been to a shop that has great customer care, is always honest, never selling you what you don’t need, and always makes sure the car is drivable before you leave out of the parking lot. I just wish I would’ve found them 5 yrs ago when I needed work done on my van.

May 2 I discovered a bolt in my brand new truck tire (grrr). Found Boulevard Tire via a google search - and its close to my office and has great reviews. Im not typically a review guy - but the service was awesome. Went in (no appointment) at 8am on May 3rd. Said they would fix it and have me on my way in 30 minutes. 25 minutes later - Im out the door! Great experience and Ill be back for ALL of my service.

Ive been going to Boulevard Tires for years. Friendly and helpful staff. They can do everything except paint no matter how big or small the job is. I definitely recommend them.

This place is amazing anytime there is something going on with my car I can bring it in and get everything taken care of. Everyone works in a timely manner and services are very fairly priced.

I just left there after 43 minutes of waiting for a tire repair. I was told at 9am that it would be about 45 min. The fact that nobody had touched the car wasnt that big of a deal but when a guy walked in and said can you fix my tire on his truck they told him 25 min and they went and put a jack under the truck and started to take the tire off. That was all I needed to see. I just took my keys and left. I have taken my cars there for years. Never again.

I would definitely be wary of this place. It has its pros and cons and I understand every situation is different. They have always worked with us on making payment arrangements and the manager is cool enough. However every single time I have taken my van here, there is always something going wrong after I pick it up that wasnt wrong before. I know my van is used and used cars are not without their potential problems but, after more than a handful of jobs, its getting a little too suspicious... Overall not a bad place just know exactly whats going on with your vehicle before you go because my faith in their actual mechanics has run out.

Very good pricing. Friendly and funny manager on duty. That was a big plus. Took 2.5 hours for oil change with transmission fluid change. Pretty sure that’s way too long! Very overcrowded and couldn’t find a spot in the parking lot. Sounds like that is a constant issue but not a major problem I guess.

I can not say enough about the great job Eric and his crew did for us. My car needed an engine. I purchased one from SW Engines to be shipped to them.. I had only 10 days from receiving the engine to activate the warranty.. The engine arrived on Thursday and Boulevard Tires and Service had it done the following Monday ..
