Very bad service. He did not install the seating covers correctly and it went off almost immediately after installation. He did not refund any money and refused to redo it. they charged me $200 to only put the seat covering on and when I went back a few days later to get it checked because it wasnt put on correctly they wanted to charge me another $100 to do a redesign!!!!!!! They said it has life time warranty which they lied about as they wanted to charge again. Also the $200 I paid is just for labor not for the covers, I had my own covers they only needed to install it correctly which they didnt!!!!!! They also scratched the plastic while installing this which is extremely unprofessional and the car is brand new 2021 car!

Super friendly customer service from start to finish. They matched the back of my car windows for the fronts and they look great. They installed my new headlights and my car looks new again. Also, I had my headliner replaced and it was not up to my standard and I found some flaws that needed attention. So, they re did the entire headliner and it looks awesome. Just took a 2nd trip back but they were super helpful and listened. I was skeptical at first but impressed that everything turned out great and they were really nice about it.

Had chrome tint done on August 3, 2021. Monday night, October 25, 2021, lowered my windshield and tint came loose at the bottom. Call and make an appointment the next day. I take it in Wednesday October 27, 2021, they dont replace for free. Have to come out of pocket for service and replacement. Smh

They did a fantastic job putting on my drop top for my mustang. It no longer leaks after taking it to them and having it replaced. Well worth every dime spent. Very professional and friendly. I am taking my car back to them so they can do my power windows and locks as well. Wonderful people, excellent service, superb work that is done. Excuse my car. I had not washed the bird poop off yet. But the black top is what I had them do. Im in love with my car again because they did so well. Thank you guys!

A and A performed a sunroof glass repair on our 2021 Kia K5. Not only did they do a great job with the glass replacement, the overall experience dealing with the owners was about a s good as it gets. Friendly, courteous and professional from the minute we stepped into the shop. They are a little hard to find, but it was worth the drive to get to their shop. We plan to go back and have them do a paint ding repair, and perform a ceramic paint coating/sealant on my wifes car. They are a great local business, and I recommend them 100%.

I am someone who works out of her vehicle and I transport dogs 95% of the time the vehicle is running. Dog hair accumulates quickly! My van was way overdue for a serious deep cleaning. I was overwhelmed even looking at it when I took the dog crates out.At the suggestion of a friend who had a positive experience having their van detailed, I decided to try it out. It took them 2 days to complete, but worth it. My minivan came back looking brand new!!!!!! They also sold me on this rubber mat that I can put down and help stay in place cut to the shape of the interior floor, so my dogs wont get my carpet wet or muddy or furry anymore! Its working great so far! VERY HAPPY with my service there! Would highly recommend! Photos of before and after!

Ive used this place for years on multiple cars and never had a issue with the quality. Its the service. Alan the owner is fantastic and he used to be in way more than be is now if he ever even is. His daughter is who runs the front and is so rude its unbelievable. I watched her shut the door in a customers face while he was trying to talk to her and overcharged after a job wasnt even completed. Ive had my own issues with her over the years. The main reason why I stopped going. If she leaves Ill come back. Otherwise Im taking my business elsewhere along with everyone else I know.

This place take your money and half fix your alarm,three time the remote start when out on same suv. Pretty much all Accessories are a 100.00 r more. My ram pickup alarm the light dont flash . I spent lots of money here. The owner daughter takes your money and the work not good on electronic work.

Pretty good job installing a shelf where a TV compartment was in my conversion van. Estimate was low and wanted to charge me 25% more by the time it was finished however so be careful of that. But they did honor the original quote when I disagreed. 4 out of 5 because I had to argue a bit but otherwise a job well done.

Had an alarm with remote srart and drone installed

Extremely knowledgeable staff who can handle just about everything cosmetic to do with your vehicle. Interior upholstry work is the best Ive ever seen. Made my truck seats better than brand new. Was surprised to see they had other accessories like bulbs and wiper blades. Great all around car trim shop.

They did a window tint and installed a new stereo and speakers. The work was done timely and the service was great. The tint looks awesome and they were able to provide some great options for the radio/ sound system. I am bringing my other vehicles in for work. Also, two years ago they modified a backrest for the sissy bar on my motorcycle. My wife is much happier now that metal is not jamming into her back. The pad modified is comfortable and matches the bike.

Paid several hundred dollars to have my leaky moon roof repaired. Good work done in reasonable time. BUT 6 months later the leak came back and they wouldn’t even look at it for me without my receipt nor would they bother to look up my service record.

I went in to get new batteries for my remote starter which was purchased there two years ago (greatest thing to have ). I was pleasantly surprised to be able to take care of two other things as well.. I got my car washed and my console cover repaired . The repaired console cover is better than what came with the car when purchased. The cost of the repair was less than what was quoted at the dealership and our body shop . Great service!!!!

Came in to get replace batteries for key and remote starter. Taken care of a soon as I entered. She changed out the batteries while multi-tasking and assured that I was completely satisfied which I was.

The owner and daughter is very rude ,and unprofessional, they dont share any knowledge of their products before they sell them to the customer, so please be informed ,if you choose to do business with them,i will never do business there again !!!!!

The staff was so friendly and the owners are so sweet - but they really messed up my audio installation and bumper light installation. I think they have one mechanic that kinda sorta knows what he is doing the rest just do stuff by watching youtube videos. My stereo and subwoofer took for ever to install and once installed the wires got extremely hot while I was driving. The wiring was done in a fashion that is not safe and against safety regulations. My stereo head kept popping out of the dash at every jolt and bump. the lights were wired directly into the battery which drained my battery repeatedly I had to get three new batteries within 6 months. After spending thousands when I got to see the work they had done made me sick to my stomach. I would have gone back to show them what all they did wrong but I dont think the mechanic would have understood my plight. I took my vehicle to another audio place and redid the whole thing and spent more money. I would strongly suggest one thing, other than window tinting STAY AWAY from this place - hope this helps :)

I went in for an estimation on a sunroof repair. I found this place to be extremely friendly. Marcie was working the front and was crazy busy but found the time to be very polite and answer all my questions. Al was on his way to run an errand but took the time to look at my roof. He gave a me a no- nonsense, easy to understand explanation of the problem and a descent quote.Currently, Im impressed with A & A Royal and have made an appt. for Wednesday.

I am giving them 4 stars because of my experience with the customer satisfaction of the product/service. When I wasnt completely satisfied with the product that I purchased and asked for my money back, they told me to come right in and that they would refund my money and remove the product from my vehicle. Most companies would have probably reacted differently and would probably say well you already paid for it and it is installed, but they did the opposite. I wish I was more informed about the product before having it installed in the first place as I was misinformed about the functionality of the product. My only complaint is to make sure that whomever is selling a certain product, knows all the features that come along with it.

I used to be a huge fan of this business when I first discovered it but I feel like I just have to warn people. Do NOT purchase alarm systems from this business! I have spent quite a bit of money on an alarm system, among other things, and it was working fine until the remote for my alarm system died in July so I brought it in to get a new battery. They took my remote into another room and I waited about 20 minutes until they came back and called another guy to help out with the battery. He took it into yet another room, and came back about 10 minutes later and handed it to me saying I THINK it should work. Not exactly what I like to hear... You could tell right away that one of the buttons on the remote was pressed in and it wouldnt fully pop out after they changed the battery.Well, sure enough I went back home and that same night the blue LED on my remote started flashing for no reason. It would randomly flash for hours at a time for the next few days. I finally brought it back to the store and the lady, who is usually very friendly, told me something like Sorry but these remotes are difficult to work with but you can always buy a new remote for just $30. When I complained about the fact that the light had NEVER flashed like that before they had replaced the battery she said Well you could always try to replace the battery yourself to see if you do a better job... I couldnt believe it! If I knew how to service my own alarm system then why are they in business?! I would install and service my own alarm system if I knew how to do it!I finally called the lady again and complained and she told me to bring it back and leave it overnight so they would have more time to work on it. When I brought it in, I told her I dont know how long this battery is going to last given that its been flashing on and off for days now, hoping that they would do the right thing and put in a new battery since it was their fault that it was flashing to begin with. She didnt say anything and used the same battery... Sure enough, a few days later the battery died! I brought it back and once again had to leave the remote with them, but this time for several days. When I came to pick it up they had the audacity of charging me for another battery even though it was their fault that the first battery died (3 weeks from the day I bought it)! The final blow was when today I noticed that one of the tiny screws on the back of the remote was missing and they never mentioned a word about it to me. That was the straw that broke the camels back. If after all the money that I spent at this shop, they are willing to lose me as a customer over a $5 battery or a $30 remote, then I feel like its my duty to warn other potential customers to stay far away from this business. If they want me back as a customer, they need to do the right thing and think about what it takes to keep a customer happy long-term, and not just think about short-term cash. I am planning on buying a new car after all and will need some custom work done on it as well! Dont they want my money? I just dont get it...

Terrible. I bought headlights for 2010 ss camaro and driver side headlight went out within 30 days, i went back to have them fix it and install fog lights that i bought and now one of my fog lights dont work either. Terrible terrible place, they appear to be really nice people. Terrible plsce

Bought their Groupon offer for executive car detailing earlier this month and had the work done today.My car is a black 2001 that had sat out in the sun for over a decade. Now that I have a garage, I wanted to get it detailed again. I took photos and sent them to three people. My wife responded, Wow!! The other two people responded, individually, You got it painted?I can honestly say that this was the best detail job that has ever been done on my car.What a tremendous value for $142.00!

Great tint job. I was skeptical as there are some negative reviews but the group on they had for tint was a great deal so I gave them a chance. I dont know about other services but they do a great tint job. Quick, no bubbles, no damage. A+

I took my car in to get my window switch replaced. I was quoted a price of $350 which seemed high, but I had taken my car here many times when I was younger, and had faith in them.When they gave me my car back, they charged me $750. Which is outrageous enough, but also my windows stopped working about an hour later. And my key fab no longer worked causing my alarm to go off every time I started my car. This lead to weeks of them taking it back, only to not fix anything.Finally I looked up how to calibrate my key fab which I couldnt do without the switch not working. So they took it back, one of the younger, apparently not very listened to cooks, was able to figure out it was a fuse they had blown and replaced it. However they tried to give it back to me this time with the master switch basically hanging off the handrail. So working with the mechanic no one was listening to, I was able to at least get the windows working and my key fab calibrated based on what I found on google. Shortly after leaving realizing my cruise control and temperature gauge were now disconnected.I would take it back again, but the bottom line is, they really have NO EFFiN idea what theyre doing with electronics. I was insanely overcharged but what I am now convinced is a garage of people that really shouldnt be allowed to be touching peoples cars.Go basically anywhere else, at all. Pretty sure a learning deficient chimp with a wrench could do better electronic work for you. Its a shame to see a shop thats been around so long to get to be like this. But bottom line, it is. I gave it two stars because at least the guy no one was listening to tried. Thats at least something.

Cadillac dealership sent car here to have auto-dimming rear view mirror installed. After installation it never auto dimmed. Cadillac dealership sent me back to location and they looked it over and said it was working as designed. Finally had it removed and found out that what they installed was not even an auto dimming mirror and they installed the wiring wrong. They didnt route the power wires correctly over the SRS airbag, they went in front of it. Glad I found this out and had it corrected by a qualified installer. Stay away from this place, they shouldnt even be in business with ethics like this.

I went to A & A Royal Auto Trim on my lunch hour to get a quote on how much it would be to replace the drivers side door armrest. I was told by Marcie (I think is her name) that it would be $150.00 because they had to remove the door panel in order to replace this 6 inch piece of upholstery. I told her that this was extremely expensive and that I had gotten my arm rest console done for $30.00. She told me they charge $300.00 for this. She also told me that the guy who looks at the interior would be available if I drove down over my lunch hour. Needless to say, he wasnt there. I called around and wound up taking my car to NKC Auto Trim. I was charged $22.00 for replacing this piece. I would NEVER go back to A & A Royal Auto Trim again. If you are in need of window tinting or any upholstery work, contact NKC Auto Trim. NKC Auto Trim is a family owned business and they have been around for more than 50 years. They are good, honest people. They will charge what they quoted!!!

Terrible customer service, over priced & not worth wasting time walking through the door! The women & man that work in the front are nice until you dont spend money then they act like your bothering them. I noticed that they have the employees make BOGUS reviews for their company cause the review about the RV is from the man that works in the front. Pretty bad the only good reviews a company gets is from an employee making them! Dont waste your time or money on this company just go online & order it yourself!

I bought the car detailing groupon for $159 and the detailing itself was decent at best. I could have done as good of a job with a couple of armour all wipes and some windex. Thats not what upset me though. When I went to pick up my car they told me it would be an additional $75. No reason given, just that they worked really really hard on it so they deserved some more money before I could get my keys back. Absolutely ridiculous. Unless you want to pay $234 for less than average service I would avoid this place.

Horrible experience and shabby work. They do not stand behind their product and increase their bid price. Telling the customer to F off is not good customer service. Total con job by the lady up front and the owner has the mouth of a sailor.

Never calls you back

Had a new convertible top put on my Audi because the window was falling out of my old one. The top worked fine when I brough it in - worked once after I got it back and then no more. And the windshield was cracked. Royal is claiming no responsibility for any of this and refuses to pay to have it fixed. So now I have a brand new $2000 top that I cant even use. The owner wouldnt even look at me when I was talking to him. Stay away from Royal Auto Trim.

I have dealt with this company for decades and the workmanship and people are incredible. Would highly recommend for all your car needs!

ThOught the staff was very friendly and nice. HadThem install an alarm and power locks on the doors. They left all the drilling scraps and residue in car, then I goTo get a breathalyzer installed and find out they used electric tape to wire up my whole alarm system and power locks system instead ofProfessional end caps or soldering. Then when I called back to address the issue I was told that that was notThe caseand their worker would never do that. Even though I have pictures of it. So now I taking it back since she had such an attitude on the phone about their lack of professionalism. Used to recommend to everyone but after they fix it I will never be going back to them. If you want someone to do a half ass job but befriendly until you call them out on their bullshit then go with these guys!

It was a horrible experience! I came in a week ago left my car and when first going in i told the sales rep what i requested and did not recieve limo tint i got 20%. They were willing to fix free of charge BUT..... the following thurs i dropped my car off no tint repair. Friday at close no tint repair by sat im HOTTT! So i sit for 3 hours still no tint. Not to mention they moved my car and someone hit it. And still no tint repair after that i just wanted to leave but not without the repairs its been long enough. I wrote a review and she the clerk put me out and told me they werent fixing it. POINT OF THIS REVIEW IF THE CLERK WOULD HAVE GAVE ME WHAT I ASKED FOR THE FIRST TIME NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE EVER HAPPENED OUT THE GATE...TAKE HEED TO THESE REVIEWS. I WILL NEVER BE BACK. The service and administrative staff here are GREAT! However, the manager/owner is a racist. I had an appointment to get my windows tinted over the weekend and when I came in to drop off my car, I decided to pay up front with a written check... The cashier said it was fine and began to process payment, when se was called to the back from the owner/manager. She returned and they began to tell me, a young African American woman, that they could not take my check because it appeared to be from a new account.. I explained, that it was not, if it mattered, however that my account was compromised and I had to get a new checkbook. He then said from experience, he did not like to take checks with such low check numbers because peoples checks were not honored. I told hold him I could bring up my account information, however wanted to pay with a check for my own reasons. I was so offended. He proceeded to tell me that I could go to my bank or use my Visa. I told him I did not want to do that, he tried to laugh it off.. Not sure what was funny... I then proceeded to ask for my vehicle to leave. The cashier called me to garage where my car was and apologized and assured me that it was not her. I told her no worries. The service guy then brought my car around to the front of the building and also apologized. He was so sorry, that it was not him and asked me to have a nice weekend. I have never been so offended - it is 2012 KCMO, racism is so 18th century! I will be reporting this guy and his company to the Better Business Bureau, as soon as I find a good tint artist! (:

I purchased the detail Groupon for $129. I scheduled the detail which took about 3 weeks to get a time slot. When I brought the car in they said it would be $50 more because my car is larger. I was not aware of this charge when I bought the Groupon so I felt upset there would be an additional charge. After review, the Groupon did say there was an additional charge for larger vehicles, but it did not specify the amount. I should have read more carefully. They then said there would be an additional charge of $50 for pet hair. They said it would take them all day long until closing working on it to get it done because it was such a big job, and that is why there were the extra charges. I wish I would have just sought a refund from Groupon but I decided since I had already waited to get an appointment, and arranged for transport to and from the place, I just wanted to get it done, so I agreed to the extra charges. They finished an hour earlier than what they said, so I guess it wasnt as big a job as they said - or that they just cut corners. When I went to pick up my car, I took the keys and said I was going to go check it out, but they acted like I would just leave without paying and asked me to leave something in the office of value. I was really offended by this treatment, as if I was assumed an untrustworthy person. When I checked my car I noticed several things that were not done to my satisfaction - things that would have easily been cleaned if I had done it myself - not nit-picky things, but just mud/dust on some trim right at the opening of the door, and pet hair they had not removed, and some other things still in the carpets, which appeared to be easy to remove so I dont understand why they missed them. When I told them about the issues, after a really unpleasant conversation with them, they agreed to go through the interior again, but I would have to bring it back because they were closing. So, I had to make another trip, and make arrangements with someone to pick me up and drop me off (again) so they could repeat the interior detail. When it was finished, it smelled nice and for the most part looked acceptable, but there were still a few minor problems which I decided were not worth arguing about - but to me, it still seemed like they should have been able to clean them better. This may sound like Im being picky, but these were things that should have easily been picked up with a swipe of the vacuum hose - had I done it myself. So, for $229, and two trips, and a great deal of unpleasant interactions I have a clean car. Overall, I would say it is an acceptable job, but not any where near worth the price or the hassle. I would not recommend this business for their detail service.

Started off as a good experience but quickly went down hill. Some of the installers are rude and dont seem to know much about car audio. I had to go out into the garage and help them figure out which wires went to which speakers. One of the installers tried to lie to me and said that a stereo install doesnt include us putting your dash back together. the last straw was when the manager charged me for an extra hour of labor because his installers were too incompetent to get the job done in a timely fashion. When they did finish it sounded terrible, they sent 4 separate channels through the subwoffer inputs and told me I would have to tune it myself. Sucks that I was looking for a go to installer in the KC area but at the same time Im glad they hacked up my winter beater and not my new car. The only positive thing I have to say is that the wiring was tidy (found out after I re-installed the head unit). I will never spend another penny with them.
