This is the best auto service you will find in Kansas City and in the surrounding area!! As soon as I walked up, I was greeted and asked how they could help me. BK and the crew made me (a 22 year old women) feel comfortable and well taken care of!! They gave a thorough inspection of my tires to find that I had two flats and needed an alignment. BK gave me several options of how we could go about fixing it, instead of just telling me what they were going to do. Auto Werks gets the job done right - I can assure you of that! Took my truck in with some issues I had no idea how to solve, the team had the issues diagnosed very fast. I was given a quote at that time that was bang on to what I paid in the end, a very fair price as well. They repaired everything in a day or so, and worked with me to get the vehicle picked up. I will be taking all of my vehicles here in the future.

I woke up with a completely flat tire, was able to fill it up just enough to get to the shop without even calling in advance. They got me in right away, exchanged all four tires for a reasonable price and I was able to take the car home not long after arrival. BK explained everything patiently and thoroughly, including the itemized receipt. Overall it was a really great experience and I would definitely recommend this shop!

Been here twice now, both times the best experience Ive had with car repairs. This is the only place I choose in Kansas City for car repair or car maintenance. I’ve recommended it to multiple friends. BK and his team have fixed numerous car issues for me from detailing to body work. They’ve always done it with transparency up front—explaining in plain terms what you actually need and why you need it, while taking the time to work through any questions. The pricing is always fair and they put their priority on the customer relationship. BK once went out of his way to help fix an unexpected flat tire for me in record time because I was running late for a trip. I drive a Toyota, but I’ve seen them working on Ferraris, Mercedes, classic cars, you name it. And despite working on my less interesting car with less-interesting issues (like my car’s paint problems), they put maximum effort and attention into helping. They get things done fast and right.

Called for a tire pressure sensor quote and I already have the sensor ..this fool had the installation quote way over $300 on a tire pressure sensor lmao.. went to Costco got it done for $63..Beware of all these reviews they seem fake to me

1300.00$ for a leaky valve cover, replacing a radiator and a headlight. For the valve cover they just washed the oil off, didnt repair anything. To replace the radiator they removed all the support for the front panel/bumper and never replaced them so now the whole front end of my car is in danger of falling off. Clearly they count on non-mechanical customers who take them at their word and then do the cheapest job possible while adding charges for work they didnt do. They did get the headlight right though.

Like many folks, I inherently don’t trust mechanics. So, I wasn’t expecting much when I randomly decided to take my Volvo to this one. I called the shop, told them I needed a simple tire patch. To my surprise, BK fit me right in. Almost immediately, I was impressed. Forgetting we are in the midst of a global pandemic, I reached to shake BK’s hand, which he gently reciprocated by performing an elbow bump. Truthfully, I wasn’t counting on someone trying to earn my business off of a $30.00 tire patch. This sort of customer service doesn’t exist anymore, or so I thought. BK proceeded to tell me that he was there for me for any of my automotive needs, and took the time to answer any questions I had. That would have been stellar had the shop been slow, but it wasn’t. Auto Werks’ reputation precedes it, and there is an almost constant stream of cars going in and out of the shop. Honest to goodness, the world needs more businesses and business owners, like Auto Werks/BK. Thanks for taking the time to read my novel. I work in customer service, and this was one of the better experiences I’ve ever had. I will undoubtedly be bringing my car here for all of my future automotive needs.

Called in for a quote for service and wanted to use my own part that I found for a really good price. I was told that they dont use parts that costumers buy, which I completely understand. I explained the issue, then I get overexplained about how younger people this, they dont know x. I then said that I knew what the problem was, as I work on my own car. I made a mistake and I just wanted help with a difficult job fixing what I broke. I am basically told that I am a prime example as to why they enforce the rule above. He said I should go to a less professional shop if I want my own part installed. I dont get whats up with shops having such anti-DIY mentalities. Wouldnt you be happy Im approaching your shop so that you can make money? If you have to preface a sentence with dont take this the wrong way, do you really think you should be saying it? Such a surprising experience considering all the good reviews about professionalism, but that condescension wont have me returning.

Excellent and swift service. Had to be at KU Med Center for the day from out of town when I got a flat. They were very accommodating and managed to squeeze me in so I could get back on the road that day. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Huge lifesaver. Cant recommend them highly enough!

I brought my vehicle first time to Auto Werks, and I will do so from now on! This is the shop I was looking for, fair price, accuracy/precision on their work, and most importantly, VERY honest and friendly. I called to make appointment, but BK let me come to his shop immediately. After quick (but accurate) diagnosis, he let me have appointment soonest I can come (could not do same day as it was late in the afternoon and repair takes 3-4 hours). While waiting he keep checking me back to see if I am comfortable waiting.So many shops out there try to rip you off ... NOT here. Free diagnosis, detailed explanations including possible costs. In addition, when questions are asked, BK will answer your questions in details. As many commented, this is the shop you should go when you want honest business and friendly owner/crew.

Came here to have an exhaust installed on my car. BK and his guys did a great job getting it to fit just right and the quality of the work is top notch. I will definitely be coming back when I need other work done.

They checked my spare to make sure I was good to go for the rest of the day and even squeezed me the same day in between appointments after work when they were swamped.

The owner BK was extremely friendly and helpful I had a seized caliper on my brakes that Firestone did 2 months ago instead of 16 it and charging me for it he recommended I call Firestone and have it 6 under warranty saving me about $800. I highly recommend this mechanic to anyone who needs basic maintenance And/or parts for their vehicle. I have 100% confidence that they will take care of my vehicle for an honest price. I Will not go anywhere else for maintenance or car Fixes except for this garage.

Great body shop! I had a big scratch on the door of my Challenger that I wanted to get fixed, but I was wary of having the entire side of the car repainted -- sometimes you can still tell that some paint work was done in that area. However, Brian and his guys did a ~fantastic~ job on it. Its been a few weeks now and I still havent been able to find any noticeable marks that would indicate the door was repainted. Its basically as if it never happened.On top of the awesome body work, they even gave the inside of my car a much-needed cleaning :), free of charge and without even asking!

Straight-forward explanations, reliable work, and fair pricing. They fixed a problem for me that a different shop had caused through negligence. Went the extra mile on a few other issues as well. I’m originally from St. Louis and have been trying to find the right auto-shop here in KC. KC Auto Werks has my all of my automotive business from now on.

Let me start by saying, I really dont know much about cars. So when my Jeep decided to get weird on me, it was like being thrown into foreign territory. I had no clue what the issue was or even quite how to describe it. Not to mention, as a car-dummy, going in for repairs gives me the creeps because I dont want to get fed over... $$. My boyfriend went to Auto Werks for an oil change recently and immediately suggested I go there for my problem. BEST suggestion ever! BK, the owner, was super nice and very patient. He took the time to explain the problem to me in terms that I could understand. Additionally, without needing to be asked, he made sure to break down every part of the bill and why it was needed. I dropped my car off on a Saturday- without calling ahead- and got it back by Tuesday (they are closed on Sunday). A long story to basically say this: Great experience, highly recommend!

These guys were amazing. I had gone to several body shops in the area for estimates and Auto Werks was the only one who really worked with me and my insurance company to stay within their budget. He talked to me like a human being, which being a woman in a car shop can be rare. They stayed open late to accommodate my schedule and would text me updates. Bk is wonderful. My tow truck driver was several hours late and he worked with me to get my car in. Got my car diagnosed and fixed by my break at work the next day. Price was reasonable and he explained to me in lamens terms what was going on. Will def. Be bring all my cars here.

BK is a nice guy and was very easy to work with. However, as time has gone on my bumper has revealed that the quality of the work was average at best. The pain began to peel away after just a couple of months. Overall, i think theres a little bit more of looking nice than high quality work being don here.

I love going to AutoWerks. BK and his crew will get you in for same day or next day service. The pricing is definitely fair and affordable. One of my favorite aspects of their service is that BK will actually show you the parts that need to be replaced and explain why they do need to be replaced. I feel comfortable with his opinion and explanation. It makes me feel comfortable with the service I receive and pay for. BK will let you know of other things you could fix or service on your car, but does not make you feel pressured to carry through with those services right then. I strongly recommend Auto Werks.

Auto Werks is probably one of the best car repair shops Ive ever visited. The owner, BK, is friendly, knowledgable, and best of all does great work. After thieves ripped apart my dashboard to steal my head unit, his shop was able to quickly replace it, fix the wiring, and repair the dashboard so it looks brand new. Like everyone else has said, this place is great- fast service, really honest, and very nice people. Dont go in expecting a slick chain-store experience, the waiting area is comfortable but not fancy... I always think thats reassuring though, since you know that they arent charging you more money to pay for a flat-screen tv and leather chairs.I was in and out in an hour and 15 minutes, and even though they needed to replace a component of my ripped-out stereo, they were able to go pick one up immediately and complete the repair. I also asked them to change my oil as an afterthought, and one person did that while the other fixed the stereo, which saved me a ton of time.Based on this experience, I would recommend this place to anyone-- youll be supporting local business, and youll get better and more honest service than you ever would at a chain store.

I bought an older (2007) BMW 328xi, knowing I would need to find someone who knew exactly what they were doing and that I could trust. I am SO glad I found this place. BK is the real deal. The work I needed wasnt cheap--I knew it wouldnt be--but I am confident he will be honest, fair, and knowledgeable. Ive taken my car to BK for a few different issues. Heres whats happened so far.The first time was a code because my CO2 sensors went bad. I told BK I couldnt afford the official BMW parts, so he gave me two other options. One was a part made for my car, but still pretty expensive, the second was a completely different sensor, but hed have to splice some wires or whatnot. I went with the first option. The car ran perfect.The second problem was with the power steering in my car (a common issue, apparently). BK tested and found the issue, replaced the hose and it ran great again for a few weeks. Then it broke again.I took it back to BK and he told me the power steering pump had failed. But while he was researching prices for me he found the warranty had been extended. He checked my car and found that the vehicle qualified. He called the people at Baron BMW and made me an appointment. They replaced the pump for free. BK is a good mechanic. More importantly, hes trustworthy. He didnt charge me a dime and he did what was best for me, his customer. As long as BK is in business and Im in KC he can count on me as a customer. Thanks BK.

Great place fore customization of yore import or domestic, Ive had amps, speakers, lighting, and a cold air intake installed and purchased. Honestly a great place to go fore an upgrade.

My friend popped his tire in Westport one night. All the Autoshops in the area close at around 5-6 pm. It was almost 6:00 pm by the time I got down there to help him out. I drove him here so we could get a tire. However, we didnt think to bring the tire with us, so they had no way of knowing for sure which size and type to give us. For our safety, the owner wasnt about to sell us a tire that wasnt 100% guaranteed to work. They were ready to close, but the owner decided to stay behind for 20-30 minutes so that we could go fetch the tire and bring it back. It took us about that long to drive back to my friends car, get the tire off, and return with it so that they could replace or repair it. The owner was a busy guy and had other things he needed to attend to after work, yet he stayed behind with one of his employees so that my friend could go home that night (other people needed that car the next morning as well). They were able to repair the tire in less than 2 minutes. What they did for us that night speaks volumes about their integrity, and I cant recommend a business more than this place. If you need a car job done in this area, these are your guys.
