Shamelessly over priced and mostly of poor taste but every now and then they’ll misjudge an items worth and mark it down 75%. Got several 10 ft. lightning chargers for 2.50 a piece once. If you work with fabric you can snatch up a couple yards for 15.00. Place isn’t all bad if you look close.

I usedto love this place when I first moved here. Mainly because of the massive selections and reasonable prices. That isnt the case any more. I will miss this store, but might as well shop at the big chain stores that give Vets discounts, for the prices

Large store, very similar to stores like Pottery Barn and At Home that sell seasonal decorations, housewares, garden and patio stuff, etc..

This is a good place to get replacement items. The stock isnt the newest of the product but it is all new and may be something you need to replace a like item. Fun to browse.

Hella pricey but cool

Have you ever wanted to go to one location where you could find unique items for your home? Well look no further, Old Time Potter is just that. My most recent purchase was a cookie sheet. But its not your regular cookie sheet. It put regular non stick cookie sheet to shame. Mine pretty much cleans itself. I baked crab legs on mine, and to clean it. I just use warm soapy water. My prior purchases have included a caste iron skillet, wine glasses, bathroom rugs and much more. Very clean, large space and well stocked.

Such a relief for a Covid conscious shopper, almost empty store. Its rearranged, so exploring was in order. Always great.

We stopped by oOd Time Pottery just to see if we could find anything for a themed dinner party we will be hosting. Immediately we were looking at floral and a section was 75% off. And just what i was looking for! Tropical flowers. For the regular price of 2 I got about 12 items. I was very happy. The store is fun to walk around because there are so many items to view. We also got some bamboo place mats for our table setting. While they had themed decor, the regular price i just wasn’t willing to pay for. There was a variety of thing to pick from. We were trying to get things on a budget to be honest. The things we did get were very worth the drive. I recommend taking a look but remember things change frequently. Its fun to look even if you don’t buy thing. I recommend this store.

Says masks are required but passed no fewer than 8 maskless people in the 15 minutes I was in the store.

I have my own personal name for Old Time Pottery........Pottery Lottery. When entering the store , it amazes me what I can find at great prices. I think every piece of Dinnerware I have is from there. You can find great linens, unusual home decor , garden and patio accessories galore, material for upholstery, accent rugs, and so much more. For College Students or those who are starting their first apartment , this is the place to set up your future on a tight budget. Have fun.

Yay for my wallet, tho!

I love Old Time Pottery! When you are on a budget and you need some fun decor this is the place to go. Also an excellent place for brides to go and hunt for wedding decor bargains (vases, tealights, etc.). I go here frequently. My favorite bargain finds are their garden pots, lamps, and fabric (I rarely leave here without fabric). I would agree there are not a lot of staff - but Ive rarely found there to be an issue. Not a deal breaker.

Its like walking into an old bargain barn. Just about everything you want in the way of household products, yard and garden merchandise and more. Dont be fooled that it will be less expensive than the big box stores, because thats not so. I came across several items that cost more there that other place. Just know the cost of what it is youre looking for & dont assume it will be less there.

Its always an adventure here! Love to browse the aisles. You never know what you are going to find for the home. Whatever you do find is going to be at a great price.

We bought several oversized items and their staff helped us determine the likelihood of it fitting in our car and then helped us arrange the items in our car. All with smiles. I enjoy OTP.

Employees are never helpful. Ive only ever gotten I dont know each time Ive ever asked a question. Its clear they dont care and I have visited many times.

Lots of the same things, good prices, good place to go if you want glassware in bulk. Bedding sets are lacking. Not much for Tween/teen or young kids. A lot of cheap fabrics on some bedding sets that are not priced well. Good prices on other things. You really need to know your prices before you go in there.

If you are looking for something in the housewares department and they dont have it, then it probably doesnt exist. Holiday items, a good selection, but some of the items you can find the same thing at other stores cheaper. Always worth the trip there just too look around. Always short on cashiers, but check out still goes fairly quickly.

Really poor customer service, if I could rate the store any less I would. Ive worked in retail and I have always been taught that customer service is THE most important principle, but apparently thats not important at this store. My father couldnt shop because they had nothing for disabled customers to get around with. We tried a wheelchair that was way too small and instead of apologizing the employee on duty just told us to put it back. Having no empathy for disabled customers is one reason I dont want to give this store any of my money, and the other reason is that for a furniture store they offer no delivery options. When we asked we were told there were no options. Again, no apology. Terrible. Find good prices elsewhere this place is not worth it.

Would not honor price. Signage said all outdoor decorations 20 percent off. Rang up as regular price. Asked cashier about it and I told her about the signs being posted all she would say is that only pertains to solar lighting. She then said that that was last weeks sale. Asked again about the sale but she refused to ask someone else about the sale. Last couple of visits employees have been rude. Not worth the drive anymore due to the poor customer service.

Last weekend the power went out. As it did for 190,000 other residences in KC. Foolishly, I went to Walmart to find candles to light my dark and cold house. Evidently, so did 190,000 other Kansas Citians. All that was left were some lame LED candles, candle holders, and some scented candles that nobody buys because they are scented of cabbage, old socks, and beans. No. So I wondered where I might buy candles to light my home. I drove by and wondered if Old Time Pottery had candles. Yes they did! Hundreds at lower prices than Walmart! Plus all kinds of housewares, kitchen stuff, linens and other things that some people buy but you never will.Anyway, go here for good house stuff at good prices. And candles!

Love the place, but you have to keep and eye on how much they charge you for your items. Twice now I have been overcharged for something. I had already thrown the tags away when I looked at the reciept and was overcharged 4.00. Bought a set of dishes a couple months ago. Didnt open it for a month after I bought and when I finally did I was missing one full place setting. I had already tossed the reciept out way earlier. Lesson learned now. Be careful.
