I don’t come here often but when I do I can almost always find great deals and almost always exactly if not close to what I am looking for.

The minimal help and limited supply of materials can be frustrating but Im giving sales associate Barbara 5 Stars today for really trying hard to help me find what I need and offer assistance finding it on line to order if I want. She is so pleasant and the reason they arent getting a 3. Atta boy Barbara. Employees make the shopping experience.

Extremely pricey for a Dept store. Paid over a hundred dollars for just two shirts. And one of the shirts fell apart in the washer. Not worth the money

Amazing customer service! Could not be happier with my shopping experience tonight.Levi helped find the exact suit I wanted while doing all of the sizing for me. Very friendly, patient, and attentive.Once I got to the cash register, the great service continued. Bri and Kirsten worked together to get as good of a deal as possible on the suit. Despite a busy rush of customers and being pulled in several directions, got me checked out and on my way. quickly

The are the only store i can shop in this valley for big and tall...im so thankful. Greatful because my son is 6 feet 4 inches .

Found the perfect dress for my summer wedding! I had an image in my head, and found a dress, in my size, that made me feel exactly how I want to...so, I said Yes to my dress! (Credit and apologies to the say yes to the dress program). 🥰

Beware! This store marks up their items, and then puts them on sale making you think you are getting a deal. Example: Every store in America sells a particular pair of Levi jeans for $49.99, but this store sells them for $68.50 and then puts up a sale sign saying Buy One Get One Half Off. Sounds like a deal except you actually end up paying more for the two pairs (do the math) than you would if the jeans were priced the same as every store in America, except this store.

Nice staff. Im hard to please. Very picky. Need more in mens department. But Covid, Im sure, has caused distribution issues.

I thought they were all gone...... Like blockbuster. But here we were standing inn a fully functional JCPenney I hope it sticks around!

Went on a quiet Friday afternoon and found little to dislike. A little better variety would be nice, but overall an OK place.

Read the sale signs carefully!!. I have gone to the counter twice with items that turned out to be much more than what the signs read (taken at face value). Quality is good, but feel baited my pricing that doesnt exist.

There is a young lady who we have known for years who works At Customer Service. She has a disability and Im glad she has gotten a chance at a great company. She is the best one who works there.

Two thumbs up JCPenneys wish they had a little more big and tall stuff in there because its the only place you can get it in the valley.

Great !!! considering JC Pennys is just one of the many large stores to have filed bankruptcy in recent months and is basically the only store keeping my home towns mall in business....thanks COVID.

Stopped by the Kalispell Mall as it opens at 10:00 a.m. Apparently JC Penny’s doesn’t want that hour of business because they open at 11:00 a.m. They lost 4 customers within the first 5 minutes.

Its a small JC Penneys but the staff is nice.

I went there last minute to purchase some clothing because of an unexpected stay as my husband was going to require surgery and my family needed a change of clothes for an overnight stay as we just live a little too far outside of town. I had an encounter with an AMAZING employee who I can not remember her name. It was Deb or Jen I think. She helped me find everything I needed as I was stressed and didnt know the store layout. Unfortunately, her register was closed and the register that she directed me to was a nightmare. The sales associate, Mala, asked me about signing up for a card six times! On the 6th time I was irritated and pointed out how many times she had asked. She laughed and still tried to start talking about signing up. I said it was rude and requested she not ask again. Then one item would not ring up. She stated she could not sell me the item because she could not ring it up! She offered no other solution other than she could not sell it to me. When I asked to see a manager she then took the item and found an identical item and was able to ring it up and allow me to purchase it. At the end of the transaction she acted as if she just hadnt wanted to waste my time going to try and find an item to scan. She couldnt even take responsibility for her actions.Completely rude and utterly lazy for not wanting to do her job unless a customer requested a manager.

There is not much of a shoe selection, clothes as well...it was a little upsetting it has changed so much it used to be a great store!

This time shopping at Penneys was great. I had to exchange a purchase in the shoe department. However when I bought the item it was so bad. I went in and found my item but had questions so I tried to find someone, anyone to help but NO ONE was in shoes, so I sat down to wait for whoever to return. NO salesperson ever returned. There were workers that entered the backroom through the shoe department. I tried getting their attention but they kept going. After a half hour I took my item to another department to buy.... I asked where everyone was at and was told they were short handed and didnt have any salespeople to cover the departments... JCPENNEYS should place signs at the unattended departments letting people know that theres no one this so they dont waste their time waiting for salespeople that arent working... This was JCPENNEYS BAD.

At first when I came into the store to pick up an order that I ordered online I thought I would never come back. The store did not have my items in stock after an email indicated they had... A kind employee by the name of Lizzy, walked me through some of my concerns, I began to walk away with some understanding..and a satisfied customer.. because of her i renewed my JCPenney card . Shes very kind,considerate of older people such as myself, I call her a top-notch employee..thanks to her Ill continue to shop here j,Kalispell, Mt.

Its one of the few large retail stores left in Kalispell. It seems that our city council doesnt care about the only indoor shopping center and refuse to replace the other anchor store that vacated because of bankruptcy leaving Penneys and other smaller stores to fend for themselves. Its great that we still have a large retailer with good quality merchandise in town. I know I can count on Penneys to have clothing for the whole family and items for the home. Thank you Penneys for staying around!

JCPenney has been a standard 4 department stores for many decades its surprising to me that theyve been able to stay competitive and spite of various dip in their overall financial performance and Competitive Edge in the clothing and Home Furnishing line I rarely shop there because most of the time I feel like there goods are overpriced unless I find a great coupon or an amazing Blue Moon sale there that helps make something more affordable and reasonable but their items are always pretty decent quality and I dont ever remember something being a real cheap knockoff that I had to return really quickly

They are very helpful and fun to talk to.

I got a haircut on Saturday form the salon i wanted 4 inches cut off and she did 7 inches on one side and 6 on the other. Not only was one side an inch longer the back was oblonged and you could clearly tell. She then layered only one side. At that point i could tell she was doing a very pour job i decided to pay my bill and leave. I thought i could like with it and it would grow out nope i couldn’t. I had to go pay for a second haircut somewhere else because she did a terrible job. It was a very simple haircut nothing out of sorts just wanted 4in cut off. I recommend not going to this salon.

Store is looking dated but the service was acceptable and we found the clothing items we were looking for.

Their credit cards suck. And make it hard to pay on time. I have a good amount of cards. Every single one is paid on time and no issues. But for some reason this companies credit card will always cause an issue, even if you try to avoid it. Also they over price everything. Look up the items online and youll see it half the price somewhere else.

We have always been treated as if we are the most important people in the store. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. A very satisfying shopping experience always!

In the Plus size department: the sizes there were very confusing. Why would you see sizes 4 to 16 in this department? I had a hard time in this department, trying to find my own size.

The woman in Jewelry is rude and not at all helpful. She will help people from other departments before she will help someone standing waiting there.

JCP is, what it is. The store has a great mens section and the people are really nice!

Looking for ladies dresses today. Absolutely no selectionsJust a few dresses. I was totally disappointed.

With staff that is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and incredible sales to boot, it is no small wonder that JCPenney has defeated Herbergers in our town, even nationwide. The atmosphere is comfortable and alluring, the selection of dress wear is phenomenal, and the variety in the store is great. I love shopping at JCPenney.

I went into Sephora inside JCPenney, just browsing. I was greeted and had a free five minute facial with an amazing skincare line called Fresh! I will be back again. Hailey was very professional!

This JC Penney was clean and well stocked. I was disappointed that they didnt have any more Lynyrd Skynyrd T shirts in my size. But otherwise my experience here was great.

Worse thing with JCP is you buy something for a few years that you love to wear and then they change it up and you have to figure out what to buy now. Great sales and coupons though.

Great store but need to get in bigger womens sizes. Have them online but I need to try on before I buy online cause online cross border return policy is not great and cant afford to buy something that might not fit.

JCPenneys always has good prices

I went in for a jacket, but then decided to come back later. 24 hours later they increased the prices by 30%. Some lady was roaming around giving out surprise coupons. Surprise - I won 30% off. Seemed a little deceitful. What the hell people?

I shop JCPenneys often, I love their sales! Decent clothes for the kids and stuff for the house. The new JCP app is awesome! Love the coupon storage and ability to check prices with it.
