From out of town so we chose this little diner. I would give this place another shot, but some things were left to be desired. Server was super nice but the kitchen was very understaffed (waited at least an hour for our food). Side plates forgotten came to us after we were finishing up our meal. There was also a hair in my food. Great low prices though and a hometown feel to the diner. Definitely has potential but was not totally impressed today.
I ordered a Ruben and fries abd tbrycwere both delicious. Ill ddefinitely be going back.

Usually get eggs Benedict, which is made with real hollandaise rather than cheese sauce like some places. Got sausage gravy over biscuits. Very good.

The name throws me off. They have old school Folgers or Maxwell House style coffee, so if you are looking for a new age coffee shop, this isnt it. On the other had if you are looking for an old school diner, this is it. I have only ordered breakfast food, but that is all that I order from diners. Its locally owned, so that is a plus over eatn park, or Dennys. Super friendly staff, clean classic interior and loved by the locals.

Havent been there in ages & it will be ages till I go back. We waited to be seated about 10 minutes, no one said a word to us & I was ready to leave & a gentleman waiting for take-out went & got a waitress to seat us . I thanked him so much for his help. We were seated then for some reason it took 10 more minutes to get our drink order taken. I was not happy at that point. Finally got our drinks put our order in & it took awhile to get our food. We ordered breakfast-eggs- meat- hash browns & pancakes. Pancakes were so big & dance that I didnt really like them but the rest of the food was good.

Food really went downhill after Covid.The grease needed cleaned, the grill needed cleaned. Both meals were burnt and had a very bad taste! Fish was flat as a pancake. Eggs were burnt with other food in it from the grill. We will not be back. Yuk!!!!
We had to wait over 45 minutes for our food. There was only 1 cook working, but this wasnt told to us until we had been waiting so long. Another couple walked out because they got tired of waiting for their food. Mashed potatoes were so old they were dry and crunchy. Paid $4.29 each for 3 milkshakes that were so watery I think they were just milk with whipped cream on top. Every time we come here anymore it is just a terrible experience. We will not be going here again.

This place is a decent coffee shop. Aside from Dennys it really is the option for breakfast in Scalp area Johnstown. Eat N Park and Valley Dairy I would never recommend to anyone. The customer service here is good although I have dealt with waitresses who were clearly lacking in customer service skills. The food is delicious. Having had the steak omelet and the country fried steak, I had no complaints except that my eggs-over-hard with my cfs were not actually over-par but that is about it. I would still come back since my last experience had no issues.

Took my mom for brunch on her birthday. The food was very good. They sang to her and brought a huge piece of gobcake with a lit candle. It was our first time there. Will definitely be going back.
I had the oriental chicken wrap. It was pretty good. I ate a slice of bacon from my kids plate and it was really salty. The pancakes are plate sized. Its a pretty good breakfast place.

Stood there for ten minutes waiting to be seated (on a weekday afternoon) while it was 40-50% full...Finally got seated and waited another 5-7 min for someone to bring me a menu....I quickly placed my order and sat there while other people who came after me got their food before....after sitting there for another 15 minutes I just got up and left. Sad experience.

It was my first time in a wall being at the corner coffee shop and I was totally surprise at all the changes. It still had that coffee shop feel to it and its decorations but everything was Modern and updated. And if food has not changed other than maybe getting better and thats what really counts. Large portion serve hot when needed extra coffee pot put on the table for the coffee drinkers. And very pleasant waitresses waiting on you.
No frills. No gourmet cooking. Diner-type of food. You get what you pay for. BUT food is pretty good if you go in knowing what youre getting. Good place for meeting up to do breakfast the morning after a good night. Although, I usually opt for a breakfast type item off the menu. Im by no means am a coffee connoisseur but with that said - the coffee is pretty good in my opinion.
We were in the area for baseball and wanted a good place to eat. I love family diners and it looked like one to try. We were very pleased! The service was very attentive; the food came out fast and was delicious and the place was clean and nice. My wife had a chicken salad and I had their breakfast special. Both were very good. We would recommend!
I was 100% satisfied with this restaurant. When my family and I went here, the food, service, and sanitation was awesome! The waiters were super polite and when we were there accidentally past closing time, they continued to let us finish. I would definitely recommend dining here.

Ordered a steak burger medium done with everything and extra onions a salad and pie and my mom ordered meatloaf and a pie. When the delivery got here there was no pies, the meatloaf was very bland and my steak burger was not only bare of any toppings and condiments but it was cooked rare. They have lost this family as customer and we will be telling all our friends to stay away from this place as it is an insult to pay to be treated in such a low bar fashion
Food and staff were amazing. After a long day of tubing, we were starving and found this amazing establishment. Our waiter was very attentive. It seemed like the employees were all literally family. Wish I didnt live 60 miles away. Id eat here all the time.

My mom had me over for homemade coconut cream pie that she bought from here and it was amazing. I was going to be making a trip to Johnstown and decided to call ahead to see if they had a whole pie available to purchase and they assured me they had one and took my name and asked what time I would be there. I arrived to pick up my pie and paid $12.50. When I opened the box that had there sticker on it and it was a Marie Callenders coconut cream pie from Walmart which sells for $5.97. I told my mom about it and I took the pie to her and she called them and told them that this is not your homemade coconut cream pie and they said we were out of coconut cream pie and that was a substitute. Never once did they mention that they were out of pie and they had to substitute it for a frozen pie i could have purchased at walmart myself for much less money or I would have never purchased the pie. Lesson learned: Always check what you buy because people today will take advantage of anyone they can. Shame on them.

I have eaten here many times in the past, always a good experience. Today on our 1st day in the green phase, I ordered take out. When i arrived many customers and none of the staff were wearing masks. When I asked about it, I was informed that they were not required to do so. I believe this not true. I refused my order and will not return .

The only place I have ever been that actually lists keto friendly items on the menu. The also have low carb wraps and cloud bread. They actually will assist you with low carb selections. My prayers have been answered!!! The food was actually very very good.

Pretty tasty grub here. The staff seems to be warm and friendly. I forgot my debit card at my last visit and it was kept there and was returned, so that was a big deal to me.
