Sugar Lips has the best ice cream in the 607! This past summer, I visited the shop at least twice a week, and still have nothing bad to say. The owner is very personable, has my order memorized and manages the place in a way that gets people in and out in a timely fashion. In addition, Sugar Lips is always changing up their menu, adding new homemade flavors and creating new sundaes. Makes things very interesting, but hard to choose from because everything looks amazing! Living right near Sugar Lips, I am glad that this is the ice cream place the closest to me, but would still travel for the ice cream if farther away. The Southern Tiers pride when it comes to ice cream. Wide array of classic flavors as well as specials. People out there serving you are also extremely friendly. Perfect place to sit outside and enjoy some ice cream.

My wife and I stopped for the first time this week. They have a great selection of home made ice cream, and even have several vegan options! We’ll be making Sugar Lips a regular stop.

Such a great ice cream shack. The workers are as sweet as the ice cream! The outdoor dining is so quaint.

The staff was friendly but, the girl at the counter must have been new as she did not understand when I asked for dip tops. The building and surrounding area was clean the statues were fun to look at. Overall a pretty good experience

Got what was supposed to be vanilla bourbon and strawberry cheesecake. Vanilla tasted liked banana and when I asked about it, was told that was the vanilla bourbon and turned away. I only had taken a bite or two. It was definitely banana. I wasnt asking for a refund, but I would have taken a different flavor. Strawberry cheesecake was very sour tasting. I dont plan on going back.UPDATE:I was there a few weeks ago, so flavors may have changed. I would still have loved to try the real vanilla bourbon, but the employee told me I was wrong and turned me away. He didnt attempt to correct the situation. I was only going to ask to have that flavor replaced, but it was obvious he didnt care enough, so I walked away very unsatisfied. I could barely eat it. I think I had a few bites of each flavor and had to throw it out. Maybe a different employee would have handled it better, but he obviously didnt care or want to do anything about it.

This place is nice. Parking is weirdly set up but the staff are fast for the most part. I definitely enjoy the strange ideas like the couch potato ice cream.

Started coming here a few years ago after Pops closed down. They have wonderful ice cream with a bunch of different homemade flavors. Great prices too.My only complaint is that the last 3 times Ive gone, my order has been entirely skipped over and its left me standing aside while they go through an entire line of people before my order is made. The first two times, I figured they were just busy. But tonight when I went, there was hardly anyone there. Its very frustrating just standing there waiting while everyone behind you gets their orders. If you bring it to someones attention youll eventually get your order. But thats maybe 10 minutes of a wait after you tell them they skipped you. A soft serve in a dish shouldnt take longer to make than someones milkshake.Other than orders being skipped frequently, its a great place to get ice cream and hang out

I love this place, Ive been coming here since theyve opened. Best homemade ice cream ever! They also have lots of homemade vegan options. The owner is a very kind man, super friendly and very helpful when youre indecisive about all their yummy flavors(or if that still doesnt help you can always get a flight :)! I highly recommend you give them a try.

You just gotta go there and experience the place. It is a summertime institution. Not every town has a place like this but if youve been to a place like this you know what Im talking about. Be prepared to stand in line but the seating out back makes the wait worthwhile.

Love Sugar Lips. The crew there is always polite and willing to answer questions asked. They have extended their menu yo host homemade information as well as a great deal of vegan options unlike most other shops in the area.

Originally a Carvels location. The site has been an ice cream shop for over 50 years. The staff are friendly and professional. Theres a nice outdoor eating area out back thats a new addition from my last visit about 4 years ago. Not a huge parking area but theres a small plaza next door that makes for a short walk. Seems that no matter who owns the place, the ice cream is always great!

What a treat to find this 1950s ice cream stand. Their ice cream is so tasty and the varieties and choices would bring you back time and time again. No inside seating but they have a unique outdoor eating area. No sure how this works during their long winters but it was a so nice to hang out and finish our deserts on a warm fall evening.

Fun place for ice cream. Try the Peanut butter pleaser sundae. Its little pricey but their location is prime. They offer kids size for good price and portions are for 4 years or younger.

A bit pricey for Perrys ice cream thrown onto a cone or into a bowl. Soft serve is decent. Employees do not act like they care about their jobs. Why did the family of four get all of their ice cream before I did? I ordered a simple one scoop before they ordered and waited 10 minutes after they got all of their complicated order.
