New to the area and checking out spots to eat for lunch. Stopped in here cause I liked their menu for fresh and local ingredients. I got a southwestern salad and truffle fries. MORE than enough for one person as seen in the photo. Lindsay was my server and she did a terrific job. I highly recommend this location to support local businesses and good eats!

The best meal on our entire two week trip! Thank you to Google for enabling us to find this wonderful gem. Burger was fantastic. Schnitzel also. Loved the toasted breads with hummus. Sorghum pie was perfect with the combination of sweet with pickled squash on top, totally amazing. French fries like they should be made. The details of each dish were perfect. I would go out of my way to go back.

Lunch there today. Had a grilled chicken sandwich. Chicken not done so traded for a tomato soup. Soup lukewarm and appeared to be puréed tomatoes. A few bites were enough. Very expensive lunch to leave hungry and hope I don’t get sick from the chicken. Waitress very nice. Others were rude.

What a treat! Stopped in at 2:00 on a weekday, and enjoyed really delicious iced tea, a traditional Rueben sandwich, and fresh unique nutritious salads. The side fruit salad started with a scoop of ricotta drizzled with honey, then topped with sliced bananas, & choice berries.After mentioning to local friend, he commented that it was a favorite destination of he and many friends in Kingsport.

The meal was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant. The service was good and the server was friendly. There was no waiting in line. Its a semi-expensive restaurant but worth the price.

The food here was absolutely spectacular. Perfectly flavorful--I savored every bite! The atmosphere is certainly relaxed, and I didnt feel rushed once, even though my party was there well over two hours. Our waitress was delightful and very nice, polite, and helpful. The music was low and relaxing, as well as the general atmosphere of the place. I love this restaurant and cant wait to return when I visit the area again!

My family and I have been coming here for years. Now my husband and I come here. The staff is always so friendly and nice, they also greet you as you come in. This is the best spot to come for just a day time lunch to even coming here for date night! We love Gourmet and Co. They offer a very sophisticated but relaxing environment. The atmosphere is quiet and calm, so it is very relaxing and stress free. During the summer, they have lovely outdoor patio seating. The food that they offer on the menu is amazing, you certainly cannot go wrong with adding their Truffle fries to any meal! They have some bakery treats like cookies and sometimes cupcakes that are delicious. My personal favorite is the chocolate chip cookie! Also if you love sweet tea, definitely give theirs a try! It is Apricot flavored tea and you can buy it a drink or a gallon of the tea. It is so delicious and still to this day my favorite summer drink.

This was our second visit and it was just as great as the first. The menu changes so much. Folks we were with knew so many interesting and tasty things to try, it might be an idea for Gourmet & Company to offer a tasting menu. I expect we will be back, probably within another month!

Wow what a place to eat. They have great taste be it veg or non veg. Their Martini 007 is awesome drink. One must eat here. Its costly though here.

Really nice restaurant for a special occasion. Well decorated, not overly expensive, and very knowledgeable wait staff. The steaks and seafood are very good, but funny enough, of all the dishes we have tried, the slam dunks have actually been down-to-earth entrees like pork & beans or their fried chicken.

Food and dinner service is always on point. Used to be a great place to hang out as well, particularly in the summer on the patio. Those days are long gone but know that the food will make your taste buds dance.

A little pricey, but so worth it! Their name says it all but the food changes regularly which is the way I like it. You may not always see the same things on the menu week to week but the patio bar is awesome in the summer. The cookies are awesome too.

It was my first visit but will not be my last. The food was freshly sourced, homemade and delicious. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting and our server was wonderful. My friend and I had a normal, unrushed , wonderful lunch.

Haven’t been to this place in years. Went in at 6:00pm on a Friday to an empty restaurant with one table eating. Was Informed by hostess that they were “reservation only” (which I didn’t find listed on any social media or on the door) and they wouldn’t be able to seat us until at least 7:30. Poor experience, I always try to support local business, but won’t be back to this place anytime soon!

This once was a favorite restaurant for our family. The last time we ate there, the scallops were burned, truffle fries were not delivered and the food was cold. We were told they had a new chef. Haven’t been back in over a year. Definitely no longer worth the money.

The flounder was good but the others in our party of 4 ordered the brisket and it wasn’t that good. The brisket was dry and the peaches were undercooked. The serving size was small for the price as well. I don’t mind paying for quality but for what we paid, it was very disappointing. On the dessert, the buttermilk pie was great but the banana foster wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. It wasn’t a good balance of flavors and was way too sweet. The ice cream which was mostly melted but was the best part. The bananas were also kind of slimy. The service in general and our waitress on the other hand were great! We traveled two hours from Harlan, Ky to eat there so we probably won’t be back.

Told me I cant be inside without a mask even though I told them I have asthma. They didnt care, said I had to wait outside (when it was snowing). Nevermind the fact that there were several tables with people sitting down without masks on. Guess the virus goes away when youre sitting? So rude (and possibly illegal) to discriminate against someone with a health condition.

The food and service were good, probably 4 star good, but the prices were exceptionally high. In addition, the portions were small. We paid >$200 for 3 adults, which included dessert. We also left hungry. While the food was good, I cant see paying prices this high for what we got. Cant complain on the food or service, just dont get sticker shock when you see the bill.

Had lunch with a group of 10 today. I ask for desert plates for cupcakes one of the ladies brought and was charged 15 dollars for the cake plates! No one told me there was a charge she just added to my bill I guess because I was the one that ask for them. I will NEVER go back. ONE AND DONE!!!!!!

Its so good. There isnt much else to say. Our server, Rachel, was amazing. Get anything on the menu, it doesnt matter. The cornbread though, is almost sinful and you need it. You dont think you need it right now, but you do.

Not what we were accustomed to since we have lived close to major cities like Seattle and Cleveland and Tampa. The tables are to close together and this does not leave much room for romantic dinners. Also my husband asked for them to filet his steak to make sure it was done and they flat out said no we are not doing that tonight. No compromising for the customer. The waitress kept coming around to frequently during our conversations. The food was not worth the price. Strength: Many beverages offered so you are sure not to dehydrate.

We had a lovely lunch at this restaurant in Johnson City, Tn. The location is in a strip mall type place and theres good parking. Easy enough on and off I-26. We were warmly welcomed when we walked in and immediately seated. The decor is very nice with calm elegant colors. We all had a hard time deciding what to order as everything looked really good. 2 of us had the Tomato-Basil soup (just a cup) to start. Delicious!

Great food! Modern take on Southern classics. The chicken and dumplings was reminiscent of country cooking with a few twists that included premium ingredients and unique textures.

I had a gift certificate given to me for my birthday from my boss. I got some food and some things from the gift shop. I cant say enough about the quality of the food, amazing service and overall experience. The two women that helped me at the gift shop were kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The employees at the restaurant were also very helpful, thorough and kind. The hamburgers with truffle fries were perfect. Support this wonderful, local business.

We loved it. Everything about our experience here was superb. The highlight of our visit was Adam, our server. He was professional, honest, entertaining, and his wine recommendation was spot on. We just have dinner last nigh, this was a second time and my fish was complete row, I was very surprise, have to return it to the chef. I was not impress and I am sure the bill was high , have to say my friend did not look very happy with what he order either.What I see is that they dont have a lot of alternatives to choice, just a very expensive place.

Excellent from beginning to end.Started with cocktails at the bar, then apps, entrees, and desserts. We had a great dining experience! The food and service were exceptional.

My best friends son and his family were on vacation in Johnson City TN, staying at Econo Lodge, he walked out of the room to smoke a cigarette and was kiddnapped, beaten, robbed and shot, was thrown out of the vehicle about 7 miles away and left in a culdasack where he was heard screaming by a Angel. The man in the picture is the owner of the motel and was very rude and disrespectful and refused to refund any of their money.

The bar and bartender is amazing. Cant get a better drink anywhere in Johnson City. Thats it.....

Fabulous to know there is a World-class Restaurant in the Tri cities area. Probably the only one. My compliments. This is coming from someone who is experienced in fine dining. Coming from the New York City metropolitan area and having a fine dining background, it gives me pleasure to say that there is at-least one fine restaurant in the Tri cities.

Chef takes much care in preparation. Many details showing well prepared food. Worth the price.
