We love this donut shop.....it is the go to shop for my wife to enjoy a Maple Bacon Long John....it is most excellent as well as the Cinnamon Pine Cone.....very friendly owners and employees

This place is AMAZING!!! There maple long john was the BEST donut Ive had yet. And there cherry smoothie wow so so so delicious.

We just moved here from GA, and we were excited to find a Daylight Donuts because we’re not a fan of the other chains. Maybe it’s because we went in expecting the donuts to taste the same as they do at the Daylight we frequented in GA, but we weren’t really impressed with this location. The cake donuts were amazing, but the other donuts were just okay. We’re used to a light, melt in your mouth dough from Daylight Donuts, but this location’s donuts were a little heavy and more bread-like. Also, the apple fritters were flat and oddly chewy, which was a little disappointing because they’re usually our favorite. We would definitely go back for the cake donuts, but we probably wouldn’t order any of the other donuts again. So if you’ve been to another Daylight Donuts location elsewhere, just know that this one may be completely different than what you’re used to. But if you prefer a heavier donut, you should give them a try.

I love Daylight Donuts! Their Mocha iced coffee is sooo good! And their BE&C croissants are also very good!super friendly staff and fast drive thru service. Id rather spend my money here over Starbucks any day!

Was super excited to find them in Johnson City this morning. Hadnt seen a Daylight Donuts since I left Oklahoma. It did not disappoint! Kolachees, filled to order, the whole 9 yards. Will be back soon!!

Awesome little local store with great food and coffee. If youre looking for that fancy modern coffee shop experience-- this is not that, and that is not a bad thing at all. Its just one of those local charms. Its also not overpriced like most fancy modern coffee shops haha.

Awesome locally owned shop with a convenient drive through offering more than just spectacular doughnuts. They also have breakfast and lunch items along with Boba.The Taro Boba is amazing and its hard to turn down my absolute favorite treat the Hawaiian delight fritter.

Stop by this morning and tried their bacon egg and cheese croissant. It is 3.29. has a really good flavor to it The toasting of the croissant brings out even more flavor.

We love trying new places when we visit different cities. We jump at the oppertunity to not buy from a chain! Sadly we were very disappointed with this donut shop. The donuts tasted stale and had that bit of a crunch to them like the dreaded grocery store donuts have. Maybe they were leftovers from the previous day? The coffee was very similar to gas station coffee- we dumped it and got our coffee from another place.

Our first experience wasn’t a good impression. The lady was very nice. However, The man was very rude to a few customers and can’t handle stress well when multiple customers are there. Drinks were “ok” and doughnuts were “ok” but not enough to come back. Thumbs down

Best coffee Ive ever had! I got a hazelnut iced coffee and it was so creamy, not too sweet or artificial tasting - so good! Service was also outstanding. The lady was so kind and helpful. The donuts were pretty average, but everything else made up for it.

My experience at Daylight Donuts was quite pleasant; the customer service was satisfactory, the donuts were warm and fresh, and my coffee was exquisite! I have only one complaint about my experience, which even then is just something personal; I got my breakfast here before work, which I was got there when they opened, 6 AM. The previous night was quite restless, as one of my seven children screamed through the night while experiencing a nightmare about the video game Five Nights at Freddys. I had only got around two and a half hours of sleep, so I was in quite the bad morning mood. The worker that gave me my food was, however, quite awake... almost too awake. I walked in the store, and I was greeted with a booming and resonant, YASSSSSSSSS!! WELCOME TO DAYLIGHT DONUTSSSSSSSSSS!! HOW MAKE I TAKE YOUR ORDER HANDSOME??!! The man was wearing a pink polo, had short, blonde, and very curly hair, and it was obvious that he had applied a ridiculous amount of spray tan on himself. To top it all off, he was muscular and was wearing a shell necklace. I replay to him with a simple Good morning, and order my food. After I complete my order, he goes, OKAYYYYYY SIR!! YOU ARE LOOKING JUST SOOOOOO LOVELY TODAY!! HOW BOUT I TAKE YOU OUT ON THE STRIP AFTER MY SHIFT??? I kindly deny, and eat my food and finish my coffee at a nearby table. The over-excitedness of the worker was already getting to me, and he continued to scream in the same high, fruity expression to everyone that walked in. It got to the point that I had to yell at him to stop and I slammed the door on the way out. On my way backing out, I could see him bawling at the counter, his spray tan smearing down his face. The food and drink was good, but dont go here early in the morning.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time today and we absolutely LOVED it. The customer service was excellent, the pricing was very fair, and they were following proper COVID procedures! We got a few different kinds of donuts and some bubble tea.The Teas:They have so many different options to choose from, both in tea and pearl flavors. I had the Thai bubble tea with the original black tapioca. It was sweet and flavorful, very good. My wife had a Pina Colada tea with the mango popping pearls. The pearls literally were bursting with flavor.The Donuts:With so many different kinds, it was hard to choose. We tried a few different types of the hand cut, fresh made donuts. We had blueberry, chocolate and red velvet cake donuts, an original glazed, a maple frosted, a Hawaiian fritter and an apple fritter. The Cake donuts were super moist and cakey on the inside, and the light glaze made an excellent crust on the outside. The original glazed was probably the best original donut we have ever had, and the maple frosted was super good too. The fritters were amazing; chewy and soft inside, crunchy outside!.Overall we had an amazing experience and we will definitely be coming back soon!

The shop and the family that run are a treasure for Johnson city. Wonderful treats great prices and always friendly.

I had high hopes for this “boba” place. its suppose to be squishy...not hard and chunky. real tapioca balls dont fall apart in your mouth...and they need bigger straws to have “boba”

Im giving this place 2 stars only because the lady who helped us was so sweet and nice.....The donuts were DISGUSTING! They were AT LEAST 2 days old...absolutely NO WAY were they near fresh or even hours old. I odered 6 different donuts, and all but 1 were actually inedible.... Ive left over 100 posts for LOTS of businesses, and only a handful get bad reviews from me, but this one is well deserved. No one should pay for these awful donuts.

This review isnt based on my experience dining from Daylight, as I wasnt able to do so. Even though the website lists their hours as being 5:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Sunday they were not open. I later called the listed number and received a recording that did, at the end, provide their hours which indicated they are closed on Sundays.I realize that this location may not have direct control over the info provided on the main website. However, it would be nice if they could work with them to have their hours accurately reflected. I doubt Ill give them another chance.

I went to daylight donuts and had a magical experience from whom I presume was the owner. My type of credit card wasn’t accepted ( not their fault) so I had to run and get cash, but while waiting she gave me and my sister free donuts and Boba tea, which opened me to a new world of amazing. 10/10 recommend. THE BEST DONUTS ON EARTH!!!!! They are hand made with less sugar and fat and actually taste better then any other donut out there. They serve bubble teas and have all sorts of fillings that you can select to have put into whatever crawler or donut you want. Its so good you will probably take home 2 dozen because you cant make up your mind!

Service was great, and they donuts might be the best donuts Ive ever had. They also had awesome smoothies that are half the price of smoothies from Java or Keva juice.

The owner of the shop is SO DELIGHTFUL and she has given me free donut holes every time that I went in. The shop is cozy and well decorated and the donuts are AMAZING!! ❤💜❤💜 If you havent been here before, she fills all cream donuts upon ordering (so that they dont sit and get soggy) and its just such a tasty place! The strawberry bubble tea is also really good and can instantly satisfy a sweet tooth!

My daughter and I were in the area when we saw Daylight Donuts. Of course, I had to try them out. We live in Asheville and wish they had a Daylight Donuts. The store was very clean. At 4pm, we were pleasantly surprised that they had any donuts at all. The lady at the regiy was very gracious and kind. She gave us a free Red Velvet donut since it was getting to be the end of the day. Her kind gesture actually got me to return and buy a second dozen donuts. Excellent customer service! The donuts were very delicious. Well definitely return the next time were in the area. Im sure it will be soon.

This is going to sound weird but I actually dont care for their donuts. But I go there often anyway. Why? Because their filled bismarks and Hawaiian delights blow any donut so far out of the water you will wonder why you even wanted a donut anyway. If you try these you might never order a donut again.

Had my first disappointing visit yesterday afternoon. The man working the register was rude bordering on nasty - to myself, other customers & the 2 female employees. There were only 2 types of doughnuts left in the cases - they were almost empty. The fritters I purchased were nothing like the fritters Ive raved about to others many times. Ill definitely be taking a break from this store for a while!!

Great doughnuts

I am giving one star for the way I have been treated. I have been there about three times or more. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE their bubble tea. One time my boyfriend decided he wanted to try one of their iced coffees. So I asked for a vanilla iced coffee with cream and sugar and the old man laughed at me in a mocking tone and then said his coffee was made with milk. Please kindly explain that you make your coffee with milk instead of treating me like I am stupid. Coffee is pretty customizable in my opinion. Because he was so rude, I almost didnt want to buy anything and I almost walked out. I am sorry, but I work at Dunkin Donuts where I can get free coffee, but instead I am coming to you, providing YOU with business and then I am totally disrespected. Is it because I am young and you think I dont know anything? The Asian lady is very kind, but the older man is disrespectful. He was disrespectful the last two times I went in. I dont feel welcomed and I WONT BE BACK.

The cinnamon rolls are amazing! Heated, they are light and fluffy. The best Ive ever had! The chicken salad croissant was great and all the doughnuts we had were awesome.
