Shopping at the Johnson City Mattress Firm was an easy experience. The sales person, Eddie (manager) answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable of all the store’s products. No pressure and he seemed to go over and beyond in helping select the right mattress at a price that fit my budget. I highly recommend buying from this store.

The guys were really nice and friendly. Not overly friendly or pushy buy answered all of our questions, gave us recommendations, and knew their products well. To be fair we werent difficult customers 😂 but they didnt mind a bit with us trying all the mattresses we wanted to try, and go back and forth before making a decision. They accommodated our delivery day with no issues (though we wanted to wait longer than their first available window). I wish they would have thrown in a pillow but they were already having a sale and couldnt do any more, it was worth a try though 😀

Mike was very informative and helpful. I was allowed to lie on all of the mattresses that I chose to experience. I was free to lie there as long as I wanted to just to get a good feel for them. I experienced no pressure and no sense of urgency due to make a decision. I also found out they do price matching. I had bought an adjustable Foundation at another store. Mattress Firm did a price match so that I was able to purchase a second one from Mattress Firm which was equal to or better than the one I had purchased at the other place for the same amount of money. That was some very welcomed information and it was volunteered which was extremely helpful. I recommend Mattress Firm if youre looking for a quality mattress without being pressured to make a purchase.

Was there today after lunch time. We had searched all day long for a new and better mattress. We was impressed with the quality and the prices. I can’t remember the gentleman that help us today. But he was an awesome guy! But What I liked the most about him is that he is a genuine. He was very transparent about the transaction. We will return in the future

To be honest, the last thing that I wanted to purchase in the remaining months of 2020 was a mattress, but I found myself in that position. I worked with Eddie throughout the process, all handled via phone, and literally couldnt be more thrilled. I told him what I had been sleeping on for many years, and what I thought I wanted and he made the perfect recommendation. I am thrilled with my purchase. Eddie was extremely professional and his customer service was absolutely top notch. I couldnt recommend more! Very pleased!

The store manager is Eddie. He ran my card three times. Initially saying they didn’t complete the delivery info so payment didn’t go through. The second time he said payment didn’t go through because his card reader didn’t sync with their system. On try number three, it magically worked. Per my bank statement they:1-charged and immediately refunded2- charged3-chargedI did manage to get my money back. In the meantime I got to experience Eddie’s callous disregard for customer service. He is rude and definitely not knowledgeable or friendly. I’m not going to let the moment pass that I would forget to mention the district manager Coleman Beard. I’ve left him three voicemails. I’ve gotten no response. I’d like to voice my concerns but there’s nobody willing to listen. I tried calling corporate. No humans work there. However, IF THEY DID, the calls would be monitored for quality assurance.On the more positive side, I can’t say enough nice things about Mike, my salesperson. He was knowledgeable, patient, kind and friendly. I’d buy from him again, in another business. The guys who delivered my mattress could not have been nicer.Unfortunately, I won’t ever shop there again. I’ll never recommend them again, despite what I hope to be the best sleep I’ve ever had. My experience was very positive. I honestly was dreading mattress shopping because I assumed it would be like used car shopping and it would be someone following us around like a shark. It was the opposite! Eddie Olvera was very helpful and not pushy at all. He made us feel comfortable trying out the mattresses which was good because to me, it was awkward lol. He was also knowledgeable about the products and answered all of our questions. Ultimately, we didnt make a decision the same day because we still wanted to look around. Eddie wrote down his name and number for us and just told us to let him know if he could answer any questions for us. No pressure at all. We ended up shopping around but had fallen in love with a mattress at mattress firm so we ended up going back to buy our mattress. While we were shopping at furniture stores we had a very helpful associate at Grands, one not very helpful associate at Furniture Row, and a very pushy one at a mattress outlet.I feel good about the deal we got at mattress firm and we get 120 nights to try our mattress out. The delivery was top notch. One of our items was delayed and I got a call from Eddie apologizing and they ended up splitting our delivery so we could have the mattress sooner rather than later...I really appreciated that! I got a call the night before my delivery that let me know the 2 hour window that my delivery would come. On delivery day, I got a call letting me know that they would be there in 15 min. Luckily, my delivery was at the earlier of the window they gave. The guys that delivered my mattress, Josh P. and Patrick were very nice and professional. I couldnt have asked for a better experience with that. It was quick and painless!I also got in-store financing for my mattress which was great!I would definitely recommend Mattress Firm!

At first these people was all cool to take your money but when the time comes to get the stuff that you have paid for its been excuse after excuse we have been waiting for over a month and Im ready to break their doors down and take whatever I want. But if you really want a bed or anything that they offer I wouldnt even send my worst enemy there.

The sales associate Eduardo was amazing! This was the first time my wife and I have bought a new mattress and He made the process very easy. He greeted us promptly when we entered the store. His knowledge of all the different brand, types, styles, and prices made it crazy easy to narrow down to just a few mattresses without Me having to ask 1000 questions. Once we did pick the mattress that we wanted to purchase he was also on top of all the financing they offer and the difference between the two. So I would definitely recommend based on my experience with Eduardo alone. But the store was very clean, had a lot of mattresses to choose from at good prices.

Eduardo was professional and helpful but allowed us time to look around without constantly asking if we needed anything. He was always available though if we had a question. The different types of mattresses were explained thoroughly. It was a great mattress-buying experience!

Bought my mattress about 3 yrs ago from this place. It took about a month to receive because one day the truck was broke the next day they couldn’t get us in. Every time I called to check their was some reason as to why I wasn’t receiving my mattress on that day. Within a month of having it, one side had Collapsed and every time I leave a review they delete it.

In my late 60s with severe back, neck, hip and knee pain so to get to Johnson City from home was a challenge to say the least.. However, Mike Salyer was so helpful in my choosing a bed, I left there with every single question answered and purchasing my new bed.. Hes very knowledgeable, professional also was most observing in which bed Id tried ect and focused in on what and why other beds didnt work by the way they were made vs what did work with me example inner coils for support. I was very impressed and satisfied with my experience at this location and the service. Will update later on my purchase after Ive had time to try it out. I purchased the Briar Rose Firm Mattress with the Head Up Adjustable Base..I will also update on the base too later..

Mike was fantastic. I hate salesmen who are pushy and make you feel uncomfortable, and he was the exact opposite. He gave me space when I asked I was “just browsing,” and when I had questions, he not only answered them but went the extra mile. He brought up things I didn’t even think of, like mattress-pillow combos, which better help sleeping.He made a quote for me and stuck it in the system then so I could still get the current deals and discounts being offered. I came back today, he remembered me, and I made my purchase. He was very transparent about the products, terms and conditions, and advice about “airing out” the mattress and how to wash the mattress protectors.Mike made a very nervous and huge financial decision easier and more comfortable. I was not considering spending $2500 on a mattress until I lay on the Simmons Black Ice Tolliver, which my sister has and loves. This mattress exceeds all my expectations. The 0% financing is what made up my mind. With my total purchase, it will only be $50 month, which is incredible. The King in the Simmons Tolliver style was clearanced and not at Johnson City store but Mike went above and beyond and found ONE left in Knoxville store & worked his magic for to get it for us. Mike was the main reason we bought from Mattress Firm. His attention, explanations & customer service are impeccable! Thanks Mike! 😁

Purchased 2 matteesses on dec 4th for delivery on dec 8th only to hear that truck delivering mattresses to store vroke down. No biggie i understand that. Then was told they would be delivered on the 9th. I called for 2 days and no one answers. I got on website to chat with a specialist and they told me the mattress i purchased was out of stock until the 18th. Yoy would think that is something the saleperson wouldve known and would tell me. Awful experience.😠😠😠😠
