This business is usually honest and competent. My recent visit was a disaster. I was told my air conditioning repair would take one and a half hours. It took over 5 hours! I had to get a cab home and then come back.Waiting facilities are very poor. Very little communication and even then it was inaccurate. Most unprofessional,

Although I only went in for a simple inspection, it turned into a lot more than that with three hours and a lot more money. I was thoroughly pleased with how everything was explained and they even showed me the pieces that were broken. My car went into the shop for a clunking noise, and steering wheel shaken badly.They put a lower arm control in. I Drove the carand it was worst then when i took it in.I had it towed to monroe, they had my car 2.5 days, put a tie rod in saying the tech missed it being bad.When i picked up the car i drove around the block, the car still had a clunking noise and steering wheel shaking, i talked to the manager but got excuses.My friend drove it 30 seconds and told me it needed a cv shaft.He installed it for me.I feel Monroe have very. unexperienced techs, this error on their part cost me 2 days of unpaid work.I do not recomment them.

Service and friendliness totally down the drain . Man working at the counter wouldnt honor your coupon discounts available on your website towards the work being done . He clearly stated he was having a bad day and call corporate if I had a problem. If you work in customer service and deal with the public you treat customers nicely . Dont bring your issues to work with you !

Been coming here for the past 7 to 8 years and have never been scammed for my money in anyway possible. Bunch of great guys here from Andy to Mike and all the mechanics that work there. Lets me know when things need to be replaced and will sit and chat about cars when they are not busy. Really great customer service. Recommended to those who want a reliable place to get there car done. And for those who did not like the management before maybe give them another go with the new management.

I went in for a check engine light issue. I had no clue what was causing. The staff hooked up the car to the diagnostic machine and told me it was a purge valve. The manager, Mike placed an order for the part and scheduled an appointment a few days later. They are very good!

I always come here to get work done on my car and have never been disappointed! Recently I went in just for an oil change and the manager came out and told me that my brakes are pretty bad and that I will need to get them done very soon! I had no idea because they didnt feel like they were going! For this I am grateful because it could have caused an accident done the road! I will definitely be returning for business! Everyone is so great and well knowledgeable!

They always change our oil in our vehicles, very nice, waiting area is clean. They always check over our vehicles and let me know if theres anything that needs done.

Always come here for my oil changes which is fine, but this last time whoever rotated my wheels didnt put my lug caps back on didnt tighten them enough and now some are missing. Not to mention they have my car for at least 3 to 4 hours for an oil change. Not impressed but what can I say.

My husband took my vehicle here for an oil change immediately after he left his work. He had placed a couple expensive light bulbs in the back that he had purchased at work, then when he got home they were gone. Called the manager who did not even want to hear my complaint, never mind actually ask any of his guys if they knew anything about it. Never again will we go here, forget the new tires we needed on both vehicles, I’ll buy them somewhere else!

Costomer sercive is not on point at all tells you one thing one day and another literally the next not very frendly or help full unless you are paying top dollar for their cheap fix there is a mavis discount tire 2 block away and beat all their prices also they dont tell you something is one price of free and another story the next day. I am completely boycotting this company as the last 3 vists were absolutely terrible like telling me how my perfectly safe car is junk and totaled there are better more honest mechanics on the streets SMH

Needed urgent help with a new tire. They offered to put it back on the rim but went over the damage with me. I purchased a new tire. They went to another shop for me to get it and gave me a great price.

I had a problem with my friend’s car as she was out of town for an extended time. The driver’s side tire kept losing air, then the battery ceased to function. Getting to the short part of this story, I messed the initial appointment to present the car to Monroe, then, all of a sudden, a way was found to indeed deliver the car, although, it was a much later time, Monroe extended its closing time and repaired both battery and punctured tire! AMAZING...!!

Let me first start off by saying i dont do many reviews but this i have to put out there ,,,i noticed a pretty good oil leak when i moved my car and it just started so i give Monroe a call and i get the Manager (Ryan) on the phone and i give him my dilemma (i use my car for work) i asked if he could talk a look at it for me and he said bring it down and they will see what is going on with it,,,,,i get there and there swamped i thought ill prob have to wait till tomorrow ,,,,he said ill get right to it he finished the other customers that were there and then brought my car right in ,,,well it happens to be the oil filter adapter gasket i was thinking wow now what do i do with no car ,,,,he said no problem we will get you back on the road,,,,his mechanic Andy got right on it and in 2 hrs i was back on the road ,,,let me tell you this they just earned BACK a customer that has 5 vehicles ,,,, Kudos to Ryan and Andy you guys know what customer service means !!!!!! Discovered two low/flat tires at the Hampton Inn down the street just as we were leaving for Boston. They were busy but took a quick look, diagnosed the problem with the bead, slipped us in between jobs, and got us on the road. Nice guys, no trying to upsell, great service! Highly recommended.

I have taken my vehicles to them for years. Being a woman they have never tried to up sell me anything. They are a great bunch of guys, they have dropped me off and picked me up from work without complaining. I got my oil changed at this garage. Later on I found that my oil dipstick is broken.Manager said that it is not their fault and wanted charge me $150 for repair.Im positive that theyve done it intentionally (before it was ok).I will never use this place to do the maintenance on my car again.UPD: Luckily for me I found another garage in Endwell that charge me only $20 (aftermarket dipstick + a couple minutes of labor to pull the old one off).

Taking your car in for repair work is no ones favorite thing to do. That said, I cant remember ever leaving a shop like I did this past weekend feeling mutual respect, trust and genuine good will. I had quite a bit of work done and the estimate I was provided was spot on to the final total eliminating surprises (within 2 cents!) The work was done within the time frame I was quoted. Most importantly I felt the Manager, Ryan, was non only personable but open, honest and fair with the pricing and work I was provided. He listened to my needs and budget and tailored the experience to my situation without the all too common unnecessary add ons that I often encounter at other shops. Even once the work was done I found a seperate minor issue and he personally fixed it no charge because I just spent a lot of money at his shop amd appriciated the business. Great service! I wholeheartedly recommend this location.

Way over priced. Charged almost $400 to replace one rotor and brake pad. I looked up the parts and the rotor they charged $125 for and it cost $20. The brake pad $15. It took them 15 minutes to do the repair. I had to wait 3.5 hours for them to get the parts - a guy with a truck brought it to them. The wheel squealed for weeks after they did this repair. I found a guy on Craigslist that worked at Miller Honda that fixed this and then did my other wheel for $100! This Monro Muffler is a definite ripoff - avoid.

I got my car inspected here where they failed me for brakes and quoted me $400 to fix. I Let them fail my car and had it looked at by a mechanic I trusted who told me there was nothing wrong with my brakes, and that they still had another 40,000 miles on them. I looked at them myself and they were not Cracked as they had told me.
