I made an appointment to get my oil changed, filters changed, and tires rotated. It took about an hour and a half which I thought was great.The front counter lady (I dont recall her name) was so so sweet and helpful.At the end of the transaction she let me know everything that was performed and what the mechanic looked at to make sure everything was in working condition.It was $99 for everything; very reasonable!I will definitely be returning in the future when I need an oil change again.

I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. I had an appointment at 11, the lady at the front desk, Lori I believe is her name; explained that they were running a little late, but thats fine as it was well worth the wait! They actually caught up pretty quickly, had my alignment and was on my way.Comfortable atmosphere and everyone I can came in contact with was so friendly and welcoming, It was my first appointment, but felt like I have been going here for years. Honest to god good people, which is a rarity this day and age.Thanks Precision, you come highly recommended and I can see why.Youll always have my business.

I ended up having to replace my front rotors, the back wheel cylinders, get a brake fluid flush, get an oil change, and get a front alignment. They were professional and got everything done really quickly. I was told that I could get a back alignment done but it would cost me an extra $300, but that it wasnt bad enough for them to even suggest I do that. I was told that they didnt think it was worth the money to get it done now. So not only did they find what needed to be done and fixed it really quickly, but they also didnt try to con me out of $300. Overall theyve always been really easy to work with and theyve always given me the best price possible.

This is my fault for not getting the estimate first bc I had the car scanned and knew what needed to be done. Anyway, they wanted to charge me almost $700 to change spark plugs and a sensor. They didn’t even look at the coils, which according to the scan were misfiring (I told them this when I brought it in). I called another shop and asked for an estimate for the spark plugs and 2 coils, $360. Maybe I’m wrong I’m not sure but this place is really expensive compared to anywhere else I’ve been. I paid them $93 to tell me what I already knew was wrong. Oh well, lesson learned. The front desk lady was very polite at least!

Honest business!Ive only been in Johnson City for 6 months so I rolled the dice on this business because they had good reviews.I took my vehicle there for an alignment. 5000 miles later my brand new tires were bald on one side. I took it back and the manager took responsibility. Although he wasnt sure what happened he made it right. He gave me a free alignment AND replaced my brand new tires for free.He could have told me anything.

From the office manager Lorie to the owner Phil, I got quick, complete, and competitive service on my 2018 Dodge manvan! Oil change, tire rotation, front end alignment, and funky steering wheel shudder diagnosis.

This was the first time using Precision Tunes. I loved the experience and the atmosphere. Price was great as well as the service.

Poor customer service. Sat in the office for 20 minutes before someone was able to help me. I was quoted $85 for a back up camera installation but was instead charged over $120. On top of that, they decided to install batteries that totaled $90 without my knowledge or consent. Ended up paying $230 when I was originally quoted $85. Overall, very disappointed with their lack of professionalism. Will never be coming back.

I was traveling through Johnson City and started having a very bad issue with my brakes and stopped by on Saturday 2-13-21 at 3:30 I went inside and was greeted by an older woman behind the counter and explained my issue that I was out of town and had brake issues and needed some help in diagnosing the issue and or maybe a fix. I was told that they closed in a half an hour and that there was no way that they could help me because it would be unfair to look at my car in front of all the other cars they had taken in that day. I pleaded with her letting her know that I could not drive 100 miles back home with my vehicle in this condition.Lucky for me an older gentleman I presume the owner walked into the waiting area and spoke with me and had one of the guys take a quick look at the issue and he had it diagnosed in less than a minute but did not have the parts to fix it. Off to the parts store and was on the road in 10 minutes.I gave a 3 score, a 1 for the rude lady at the counter and a 5 for the gentleman and his worker who helped me with the diagnosis.I just hope this lady never gets broke down on the road and treated as she treated me.

This place is friendly and helpful. I think they do a good job, but they tend to be a tad expensive to get things done. I go there for convenience, so it is worth it to me.

Came in because my window would not roll up. I asked them to call before working and they did not. After replacing the motor/regulator (found at Advanced for $90 but was charged $130), I was also told that my window switch was bad and a new one would be $300. Looked on Amazon and ordered one for $19. Very frustrating.

Jeff is a very friendly man and seems fair and even generous in his pricing. However, we’ve paid them over $700 at this point and our car is still broken. The same problem has reappeared after every time we have brought it in, and the last time we brought it in whoever worked on the car removed and lost the radiator cap so I got stranded downtown in an overheated car, alone with my infant. Wish I could rate higher because they are kind, but for us the experience was just not a good one.

They are so nice and honest. My husband had asked me to take our car to change the oil because the maintenance light came on. They called me to tell me it wasn’t due. It saved us money and I really appreciate it. They could have just changed it and said nothing. Great place!!

Doesnt get better than this.BEFORE I came to Precision Tune Auto, I had been servicing my car at a dealership and although I was paying WAY more to go there, I always thought it was worth the cost because they were better. Theyre not. The dealership told me to do two things to my car that would have cost me $800 and were not even on my scheduled maintenance in my car manual. So for my next oil change I took my car to Precision Tune Auto and they checked out my car, told me everything was in great shape, and charged me about $30 less for an oil change than the dealer. These guys rock. By the way, the brakes the dealer told me to replace are still working perfectly over a year and 15,000 miles later. Go to Precision, they dont lie to you to make more money. Ill never go anywhere else.

Received wrong information. Didnt do what I asked on first visit and when I took it back they still charged me the base fee for the second visit.

Sadly, I’ve been here three times this year so far. They have given me an estimate that was far lower than the price they call with. It’s been different things -battery, alternator, brakes. However, it seems whenever they put it up and call, it’s at least $100 more than they stated. I have been dropping it off and walking back home, hence the reason I’ve used them. My mistake. Their work is done well, it’s just their pricing that is shady. They do allow yo to bring in your own parts, which helps tremendously if you know what you need. It just sucks when you feel caught over a barrel.

Spent 2200 and still have same probles and he had rhe truck for 2 weeks

Came in to get my AC repaired and $400 plus dollars later it still didnt work so went back and they put more freon in and the next day I had no cold air. I came in a third time and they carefully inspected my Truck and I was told that there was still a leak but that I would have to pay $400.00 plus dollars to now have another component replaced and even that was not guaranteed to fix it. This place charges a diagnostic fee before they even quote you a repair price. Apparently this place thinks its okay to charge someone to fix their car even if its not fixed. Im out over $400.00 dollars and still have no AC!

I had my brakes done in May, before we moved to California. They said it would be more than the $159 coupon, it was $400 because it needed more work. Its November now. I had to have my brakes completely redone to the tune of $800 because they didnt notice that the calipers were warped and needed replacing. I wont be going here again because we no longer live in Johnson City, but I hope my review helps someone else.

I was driving back to ETSU from Bristol, VA on a Friday when I noticed that my 2007 Subaru Forester was smoking and had a sweet smell coming through the vents. I stopped, opened the hood, and to my surprise my radiator had cracked and sprayed coolant all over my engine bay. I tried calling the Subaru dealership, but they werent able book me in until Monday. Desperate and needing a solution, I decided to stop by Precision Tune Auto Care to see what they could do. The staff was very friendly and professional. I received a call a few hours later and was told that they had the part in stock and could have my car repaired by Saturday morning. Sure enough my car was finished when they said it would be. In addition to fast service, the cost was reasonable for that type of repair. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone facing troubles with their vehicle. I brought my car into precision tune today after it started making a concerning noise from the front left wheel area. I thought that maybe something had come loose in the wheel or axel. With only 20 minutes before closing time and close to 20 cars on the lot, the mechanic at the front desk took care of me and my vehicle! This was such a nice gesture especially since I’m new to the area and wouldn’t know what to do without my car!Even after his initial tests, he decided to torque my wheels just to be sure that wasn’t the issue, and that solved my problem. Maybe it was just a quick and easy fix, but the customer service was great. I didn’t get the mechanic’s name, but thank you so much, sir!

Precision Tune Auto Care beside ETSU is a rip off!! They seen my mom and I and automatically assumed Oh hey, theyre stupid women, lets take them a run for their money.Nothing pisses me off more than that.They charged me $76.72 for what?I took it to get my tires rotated because I had curbed my tire and it was pulling, they told me itd be $69.95 for THAT.So then they proceed to tell me since my car is front wheel drive, my 2 best tires go on the back, which is not true. Ive asked several people to make sure I was right.Then was told they were going to rotate and balance the 2 front tires. Just to figure out they didnt even rotate the 2 front ones, all they done was balanced them.So I got changed way too much just for them to balance them.I will NOT be going back for my break job just so they can try and rip me off again!! I do not recommend these people!!

My car would jump forward when stopped at red lights and when first starting the car (while still in park). This couldve been very dangerous if I was ever too close to another car. I took it to Precision who kept it for 2 days only to charge me and tell me there was nothing wrong with it when there obviously was, with no recommendations to see a specialist. Took it to Advance Auto who ran a diagnostic, confirmed a problem with a sensor in the transmission, and recommended a fantastic little transmission shop that repaired it perfectly at a low cost. Not sure if this was a one time error on Precisions part, but I feel like their diagnostic tools may not be up to date.

Ive been using Precision for more than 10 years. i recommend them to anyone who needs a repair or service facility. They do professional work at reasonable prices. I also appreciate the fact that rather than constantly trying to upsell, Im simply informed about other problems that may soon need work.

Had my brakes done here for an Audi and decided to get my oil changed while i was at it since i was nearing the mileage on my sticker. Came time for an oil change again and when i went to jiffy lube, they pulled out the filter that they had put in when they changed my oil before Precision Tune. Not very happy i got a 70 dollar oil change at Precision and they didnt even give me a new filter. 12,000 miles on the same filter on a 2005 with 170k miles is not good!

The staff was very helpful and attentive to the mistake that had happened and went above and beyond to fix my car. Theres not too many places that will own up to a mistake and do whatever it takes to make things right. This speaks a lot on their character! In the end, I am very pleased with my experience here.

Supposed to be a great place but it takes a while to get your car back and it might not have your problem fixed. They worked on my neighbors truck and hung the rearview mirror up on the wrong spot and 2 or 3 days later it was sitting on his dashboard

The man at the front, who I believe was the manager, was very nice and took the time to explain everything to me before and after he worked on my car. I would definitely visit again and suggest them to a friend.

I cant comment on quality of the work but I can comment on the pricing. Had a car that was leaking oil. Come to find out it was a blown head gasket. They wanted to charge me 1500 dollars to fix it. When I asked him if it was because of the parts, he said no its that high because of the labor I knew it was a rip off. So I filled my car with oil one last time and drove the Chattanooga. Had someone do it for 550(plus parts). Then when you factor in the Renta car and gas getting there and back. I spent 800 something. The dude that fixed it said they were probably charging that much because they are all certified mechanics. I had my car fixed last March. And shes been running great ever since.
