We had a great experience with geek squad. Lance was especially helpful. He mounted 3 TVs. One above a fireplace that was a little tricky due to stone work. I would definitely would recommend them. Very professional.

Im not happy with the service I received. First, 4 weeks ago, I took my laptop in for repair. I had to pay 214.00 upfront. 3 days later I got my laptop back. Now it is in best buy again, and now they told me that it cant be updated. Ive lost 214.00 ,and buying a new laptop ,,, they should have told me this to start with. Im not going to buy from best buy.

This place is terrible. Staff is the least tech savvy crew I have yet to meet. You would think they would hire people who know their stuff, but most of them are high schoolers or college students being worked to death. Not to mention their super strict return policy, which is only 15 days for normal people, but if you use their fancy credit cards and spend loads of money they give you more days to return items. Greedy place and the entire staff in JC is possibly the worst Ive ever seen. Dont worry, Amazon will make your sorry excuse for a franchise go bankrupt in the next 5 years, mark my words. 😀

I went back hoping for a better experience. Still nobody willing to help. Asked three employees for assistance. All of them blew me off. I then sent my daughter to ask for help again with no luck.The shelves are empty of products. I guess Im stuck with online shopping.Multiple employees standing around looking busy but doing no work. I walked into 5 employees standing at the entrance. I was kindly asked if I need assistance. I told them I want to purchase a TV and I already know which model. I was informed that I would be put on a waiting list to speak with a specialist and it would be 10 to 15 minutes. No problem, but I just need this model and no assistance except the location of the product. Again it will be 10 to 15 minutes. I asked if one of the 5 people standing around could simply show me where it was and I will get it. Not going to happen, they were tasked out to standing around.I then went on the search with no luck. While looking i found three more employees searching for their assigned customer with no luck finding them or helping others.It looked to me like best buy is trying to copy other popular stores methods 🍎. The big issue i see is that nobody likes the way 🍎 services customers and simply deal with it because its the only place to get an 🍎. This is not the case for a TV. So I went to Walmart and bought what I needed.So disappointing, I wouldnt be surprised if best buy joined the other bankrupt stores come January.

Picked up my new QLED Today with curbside service. I bought it last night online. Today I had a email telling me my order was ready 45 minutes before they even opened. When I did arrive I simply selected I was there & the associate was out with my TV in 2 or 3 minutes. Excellent service. Would recommend to anyone.

Customer service could have been way better I was looking for one item 🚶 around for 15 minutes still not found what I was looking for was being passed by employees then I had ask for help wich they sent me to every corner of the store 40 minutes later I found what I was looking for after a wild goos chase

I typically enjoy my trips to Best Buy, it is a great chance to check out the new technology coming out and experience it at this location. Between their Microsoft are, Apple area, and Samsung area you can just about see anything that you would like. The staff here is friendly and willing to help at a moments notice. Ohh and they have plenty of accessories to go with anything you want to purchase. Although it is a little sad to see the car audio section starting to dwindle but that should be expected as the demand for this is definitely going away.

Well lets begin with the time that we arrived which was pretty close to closing time. Just shy of a half an hour, before lights out and they lock the doors. So upon arrival plenty of parking available, we were greeted upon entering the store and was politely asked if we needed any help finding anything. We wandered around and was asked 1 more time if we needed any help or had any questions to not hesitate to ask. Which at about 5his time it was less then 15 mins to closing. The store was clean Nothing seemed to be out of place and the people really were amazing. I know when I was younger Id just wanna get out of there. Super pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend.

Went and got the Arozzi Arena Gaming Desk from best buy and its great. HOWEVER, Sams Club sells this one for around 250 as opposed too the 400 I spent total at best buy. Didnt even think to look there before I purchased, but all in all amazing desk.I can fit a lot on it since its 63

I really see how COVID 19 affected Best Buy. Customer Service is down to 6 out of 10. The quality of people just arent there like they used to be. It seems so hard to get someone to help. There is probably half the staff working now. I used to love to go just to see new gifts and gadgets at store. Now employees cannot even answer basic questions in a lot of cases. I still go but come home frustrated at times. Older people need more help than younger people. They grew up with new technology..

Best Buy is becoming a customer service nightmare. It takes eons to get someone on the phone. I called in and finally got a live person. I asked him if he worked at the local Johnson City store. He said no. I asked if I could please speak to a local representative and he said, No, thats not possible. I just hung up.Why does this bother me so badly?

Well the one thing I can tell you for sure is that this Best Buy is not in California!! When I walk through the door I was instantly greeted by Zach... he not only directed me to exactly what I was looking for he actually took one and brought it out to my car so that I could see how it was going to look. In California you cant hardly even get anyone to talk to you? So my experience was exceptional, the level of service was exceptional, so I gave them five stars exceptional, and so I gave them five stars exceptional

More or less received the Push-Off treatment.Asked abt Trade-In Value of un-used 17 Asus brand laptop [I desire to sell or trade in + the multitude of tech-accessories as I havent had any need of any of it]. Sadly, I wasnt able to recall password to open the Windows op system and told to take it to another business in hopes they can get past the login screen. Yet told device was no longer of trade-in value to the store due to 2018 date purchased which sounds ludicrous as it still holds some re-sell value! But store policy is that devices cant be older than 1-2 yrs. Humph! Typical nice floor layout & store appearance though and nice enough employees.

The only reason Im giving this location one star instead of zero, is because of the sales associate that stopped.me from walking out the door. I asked for help at the customer service counter and she said she would get someone to help but it would be a few minutes because there were only two sales associates on the floor. After waiting 15 MINUTES WITH NO OBE HELPING ME, I decided to find my son and husband to leave. As we were walking out, Chad finally stopped and asked me if I needed help. I told him no and I would be taking my business elsewhere. Chad convinced me to let him help and I asked my questions about the washers and dryers. Chad was very polite, but I will not be returning to the Johnson City Best Buy location again. GET MORE PEOPLE TO HELP!!!!!

I always enjoy going into BestBuy because it’s like a tech-geek’s playground. I’ve been able to find some really good deals here. Not always, but more often than not. The customer service from employees here is great and they’re always willing to help, but I’ve noticed that they’re not as knowledgeable as they should be about basic electronics.

Clean and always friendly. Ordered a TV online due to living a hour and a half away and the TVs being bought up all at once due to stimis, I ordered a week before I actually needed it. Picked up on a Tuesday and opened on the following Sunday Night. TV would not turn on. Looked online to see if it was a issue with the TVs and noticed a lot of people was having issues returning TVs. I was kinda worried they wouldnt honor the 14 day return window. Thankfully they did and I would recommend this store to anyone. Best buy also has one of the best price match policies around! Will be getting another TV once they are all restocked.

I have tried calling the JC store several times only to be on hold a total of 50 min and still no answers. You are connected to another area. (I dont think is in the US) and they can not even give u cost of replacing a projector bulb! Only an ESTIMATE. I was so frustrated I hung up because the guy who finally answered put me on hold again . CUT OUT THE MIDDLE MAN THIS IS PATHETIC.

Was not allowed in store and I had a mask on. Was going to look at possibly buying a refrigerator but the store was supposedly at capacity due to COVID. I understand that the CDC placed guide lines but let’s use common sense. I’m not waiting out in the cold for however long because of some guideline that is not legally enforced. I easily went to another store and purchased a refrigerator with no hassle. I would of felt safe in your store just as well as any other store that I visited that day if I was allowed in. They are very sweet and very helpful and they are excellent at communication anytime I have anything wrong with any of my devices I take them to Best Buy that way it is done and done right may be a little costly at times sometimes it’s not but they are great people and they get stuff done and get it done right. They fixed my laptop and they were able to tell me what was wrong with my sons laptop that he was using from the school while on virtual and we found out that leaving them plugged up and using them will fry the motherboard which is what my son done and they were able to tell us what was wrong with it so I took it to the school and told them what was wrong and they were able to fix it

I was looking at a possible purchase to which now I will shop elsewhere because of the lack of personal space and mislabeled/nonfunctional display items that ruin the immersion of being able to test drive an item before buying. Thanks for being another reason why the big box stores are failing.
