Joey is always so accommodating and thorough when he works on and fixes my puters. I would recommend him without a doubt.
The DC adapter on my HP laptop failed. I took it in and Joey kept me updated each step of the way. Less than $100 later it is repaired and working like new. I really appreciate him talking with me before taking each diagnostic step so I could pull the plug on it if it got too expensive.
Ive taken my gaming rig here twice nowHad me back up and running in record time without breaking the bank or selling me some garbage I dont needThis is the place to bring it if it dont work
Joey really knows what he is doing and doesn’t overcharge. I trust him with my computer and recommend him without reservation.
I for one am glad The Computer Shop is in business in downtown Jesup, as Joey Freeman is a Master Computer Guru, as every time I have had trouble with my computer or my stepdads computer in the past few months, Joey takes charge and it doesnt take him long to find out what the problem is. This last time, my HP Desktop computer which had a HP Printer connected to it, well, the printer finally was on its last leg and finally quit, so I wanted to try some different for a change. I found a good deal on an EPSON WorkForce WF-3640 on eBay, ordered it and it arrived in 3 days, and it looked easy enough to connect, as this wasnt the hard part. The hard part was getting the old printer off the computer and having it to recognize the new printer, and after making one simple mistake, it was all downhill from then on ! After 2 or 3 hours of frustration, I decided the best thing to do was wait until Monday morning, then take it to Joey and let him do just one of the things he does best, as that is to get it working ! The shop is owned by another Master Guru named Jim Cote, as Jim and me go way back, as we both one had an electronics class with Mr. Harvey Stuckey at Wayne County High School in the early 70s, only I was in that class for one quarter, as I went on to welding and automotive mechanics while Jim stayed in Electronics, making a career of it, and thank goodness he did. Now there is another computer shop in town as well, as that owner and I are also the best of friends as well, as I think the world of him, but he is more geared to the business end, as he always made time for me and never did turn me away, but I always felt as though I was an intrusion for him, being he had so many clients to take care of, so now I am relieved that Joey is here, as Joey is actually faster that the other guy was who had worked on my stuff. Joey can actually build a complete system and build it better than one that you would order from HP or from Dell. So, if you are looking to purchase a really nice desktop computer for home or office use and dont want or dont know what to look for at Walmart or some other place, maybe you should stop by The Computer Shop and talk with Joey, as he will ask you some questions, he will find out what you intend on and how you will be using it, then he can usually put together a rough estimate for you of about hos much it may cost, depending on if you will want good components or the best, a typical hard drive or a newer solid state hard drive which has no moving parts to wear out like most do these days. But whatever kind of help you may need, Joey I am sure can get you going again, if it can be repaired. And if not, he can let you know what the next best option will be. Im just glad to have him available to be able to call upon him when he is needed, as he is the best I have ever seen, as well as the fastest.
