Very misleading. Reviews you see are for Matts surfing lessons, not kiteboarding. This guy flaked on me and my wife not once, but TWICE!We booked kiteboarding lessons with him, set the date and time. HE NEVER SHOWED UP. We drove for 40 minutes to Huguenot Memorial park, hoping to have a learning experience. Instead, we were stood up by this character. Tried calling him several times.. NOTHING.He called the next day with some lame excuse and convinced us to move the lesson to anther date. What happened the second time? Matt never showed again. Looking back, we honestly think that drugs were involved.My wife and I lost a good portion of two days, driving to and from the park. Had a headache with the credit card company to get our payment refunded.

The experience was everything we had imagined it would be and more! My girls, ages 8 and 11, were so excited about their first surf lesson and Matt made the experience unforgettable! He met us on the beach with all of the gear, gave the girls a safety training demo on the beach, then worked with each out in the water for several hours. They loved it! Matt is really great with children. My 11 yr. old was up surfing in no time, however my 8 year old was a bit intimidated by the waves. Matt picked her up, carried her out, and rode the waves with her. Both girls have been begging to go see Matt again. See you soon, Matt!
