My first visit to an Ace Hardware store in some time. Really enjoyed the visit finding more than I had expected and took advantage of the opportunity and the great attention.

Came in this morning, staff including what looks like was the manager just standing having water cooler talk. No greeting no eye contact, Nothing. Maybe because I had a mask on or maybe I was to black. Other customers came in as I was walking out and they were met with good morning, can I help u find something. Oh well never come back here.

Got my Green Egg here. They have been super helpful every time I have needed a warranty replacement of a part.

Good first impressions with parking right out front. Entering door greeted by friendly employee who offered directions to whatever I was looking for. When I told her she directed me and called another girl to assist me in getting my key made. When I went up to pay she was friendly, thanked me and said good bye.

Went in for the pepper jelly. The only place I could find that kind of jelly in Jacksonville. If you are around an Ace do not pass on the Jelly or the Salsa.

Broad selection of items and an especially nice garden center.

Tons of employees, no one would help me. When you go to Walmart and ask, an employee always follows you to make sure you find the item. This place seemed not to care, and didnt even know what they had, they said they didnt have what I was searching for, yet it was on the shelf. No help at all. I had to wait forever. And then the price rang up too high. Why do they have so many useless employees?

ACE. I think that says it all. Buy locally. Experts. Specific expertise for whatever you need versus some apothetic millennial mouth breather. Dont shop blue or orange if you can shop locally at ACE.

I called all over town to get some key blanks cut, home depot and everywhere else gave the standard response for the times. We cant cut your key, you have to buy ours. Tuner Ace they want to take care of customers. Well they gained one today!

Convenient location with plenty of parking and helpful happy employees at every turn. The main reason I like Ace over the big box stores. Got all my questions answered in the nursery quickly. One of these days will buy a big green egg but just not quite ready, yet.

We had a problem with a Weber grill purchased there and the staff could not possibly have been more helpful in getting the issues resolved. Store manager Kelli was the consummate professional. She intervened personally when Weber did not send the correct replacement parts. She then sent two highly skilled technicians – Mitch and Isaac - to our house to make the repairs. They did an exceptional job and it was a real pleasure to have them at our home.

Went there to check out some tools and talked with a guy named Alex. He was extremely respectful and very knowledgeable about tools and heavy equipment. I ended up talking to the guy for 15 minutes outside and almost forgot why I went there in the first place because the conversation was so pleasant. He made the experience very comfortable and created a good atmosphere for me, I don’t like going out to really busy places but he helped me find what I needed and didn’t mind answering what was probably really dumb questions but he was very polite and patient with me as I’m not exactly tool savvy. All in all a good experience, definitely recommend this place over Lowe’s, Alex was awesome and I look forward to returning to ask him more about Milwaukee products, he convinced me that brand is some of the best I can buy so I’m happy! Hope this helps, definitely ask for Alex.

Its so refreshing to shop a hardware store that didnt require you to walk blocks to get to the door knobs or box of nails. And imagine my shock on finding employees around every corner ready to help! Try it, youll love it.

We just love Turner Ace Hardware! The Jacksonville Beach and Atlantic Beach stores both have beautiful furniture, home accessories and general merchandise. We recently had a fantastic experience with Kristy in Jacksonville Beach which really helped us with a purchase we were making. My only regret is that there arent more Ace stores like this in other areas. I highly recommend them!

I live in NY, my son lives in Jacksonville. Because of the pandemic, we were not able to travel there and celebrate his birthday with him. We wanted to give him a grill for his birthday and a Google search showed us Turner Ace Hardware was the closest to his house. I called and spoke with Kelli. I explained my situation; I wanted to get a grill but had no idea of what grill to order and I also needed it set up and delivered. Little did I know how easy she would make it for me to select the perfect Weber grill for him, and have everything set up with a filled propane tank and cover. Kelli stayed in touch with me during the week. She let me know when the grill was set up and we then selected a day to have it delivered. The day before the delivery she confirmed our order and delivery details which included taking the grill to my son’s backyard patio because he would not be home. My son was happily surprised with his birthday gift! The next day Kelli contacted me to make sure my son was happy and that the delivery went seamlessly. If I could give Ace hardware and Kelli 10 stars, I would!*** UPDATE Shortly after delivery, I learned the grill wasn’t working properly. I called Kelli to tell her about the issue and ask what could be done ,to correct it. Based on the description of the malfunction, Kelli had a good idea of what was causing the problem and immediately sent Tommy over to my son’s house to repair what she thought was a faulty tube. I was happy to learn the grill was working perfectly just moments after Tommy’s arrival. Kelli and everyone I’ve spoken to at Turner Ace Hardware have exceeded every and any expectation of excellent customer service. Their superior integrity and professionalism goes far beyond the point of sale. I’m so happy I found Turner Ace Hardware!

The two young gentlemen working the register and the garden center were friendly and helpful directing me to the correct soil amendment and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Im not changing 5 star rating, but they are doing that whole donation thing to Wolfson Hospital. I Googled it. Worthy cause. Very off putting at check out when you just want to get out due to pandemic. And no info at check out. But worthy cause. So just go with it, because the store is fantastic. And so is Wolfson.

My daughter and I went to this Turner ACE looking for a particular grill. Kelli was attentive, friendly and informative...answered every question! She made the delivery easy and convenient. Ray and team were timely with the delivery, and quick! Well definately be back!

Awesome experience bought one end table, took it home. Decided we needed to purchase something else, coffee table and another end table. Got them home and decided the first one , different in design, was not compatible. Returned it and bought the one that matched the coffee table and end table. Everyone made this such a great experience. The room is now just perfect.

Went there in response to their Spring ad. Bought 40 pounds of wild bird feed for $10. Incredible deal! They have quality merchandise and plants too. Right now they have some huge ceramic garden pots, very attractive, for half price. Too large for me to handle.I was helped immediately and someone was right there to take the seed to my car. Good place to shop for Spring garden and yard needs.

Went into Atlantic Blvd store at 6:55 PM. Person at front said they close at 7:00. I said I only need some screws. She says, in that case I could not come in.

I come here for their Stihl service and occasional odds and ends. They completely restocked their home furnishings section and its worth checking out. People are always friendly and helpful. I hope they stay in business.

Of all the Ace Hardware stores I have been to, this is the one I prefer. The employees are very helpful and fairly friendly. They even offer a schedule for your lawn care that tells you when to fertilize, weed kill, etc.

The employees at ACE were extremely helpful, and they took the time to explain the products as well as the use seasons as we’re new homeowners and basically know nothing. They explained what items were, how to remedy the problems we’ve had, and they’re dog friendly! I’d highly recommend checking out this store!

Have had nothing but positive experiences with this store. I do shop the other mega stores but if I want some advice thats not just about selling me something Ill drop in this Ace. They are quick to offer other retailers if they cant take care of my need. I respect that and that earns my business when they fit my need.As to mailbox keys, you only have to have your mailbox breached once by some ripoff artist who got your bank statement to respect the fact they dont jump to duplicate mailbox keys.

They have most materials that you need and they like to come over to see if you need help

IF YOU NEED METRIC LUG NUTS AND SCREWS, DO NOT WASTE TIME WITH ANOTHER STORE. GO STRAIGHT TO ACE HARDWARE ON ATLANTIC BLVD.I was at Ace Hardware on Atlantic Blvd on Wednesday 05/08/19 around 4-30pm. Chandeliers which I ordered from online had missing lug nuts and screws but the problem was lug nuts and screws what I was looking for, were metric and before going to Ace I went to Home Depot and Lowes. I work very hard in my regular job 7am-7pm every day and only my off days Wednesdays and Saturdays which I am trying spend maximum with my family but between Home Depot and Lowes I lost about 1 hour and half with no result. Finaly one of salesperson at Lowes told me check Ace Hardware. When I went inside Ace, Randy ( hopefully I am spelling his name right ) saw me and offered me his help. In about fifteen minutes Randy VERY PATIENTLY found me everything I needed. When I came home all lug nuts, screws, and plastic washers worked perfectly fine for my chandeliers. Thank Randy for saving my time and thank Ace management for hiring a valuable employee like Randy.

Upon walking in the door the staff is friendly and helpful to make sure you know exactly where the items you came for are located. One of the best outdoor kitchen barbecue selections in Jacksonville in addition to basic home repair items.

Ace is my go-to place for fastener and specialty parts. Lots of stainless screws in english and metric, but a surprising selection of car fasteners, door parts, specialty nylon parts, o-rings, etc. I go to Lowes or Home Depot for general construction materials, but Ace for speciality parts. This store also has a huge separate section for home goods like grills, outdoor furniture and home decorating.

This is one of the unique stores by that I mean an Ace Hardware Store having a complete furniture store inside very nice stuff and very helpful staff.

5 star service! Every time we go here, we are helped. We have bought all our Weber grills here, accessories for the grills and extra keys for our camper!! They really saved me when I misplaced the 2nd set. Very happy with their service. We will continue doing business here.

They sold my fiance a generator over the phone before hurricane Matthew. They did not tell her it was approx 8 years old and used. The handles and wheels were really rusty. The generator itself was scratched and dented all over (I have photos). I called my fiance when I went to pick it up and make sure she knew it was old and used. I was unable to reach her on the phone but the girl at the register at Ace assured me she had told her about the condition of the generator. I believed her and left the store with the generator. As soon as my fiance saw it she had a fit. She had been led to believe it was a new generator. Who can blame her? Who knew Ace hardware is a pawn shop selling used items? I think everyone would assume anything Ace sells is new. Furthermore they raised the price of the generator to several hundred dollars more than it would have sold for new approx 8 years ago. They knew customers were vulnerable and needed generators so they engaged in price gouging. We never used the generator and returned it shortly thereafter. The girl at the register told me I could not return it. The owner wasnt there so his incompetent son Mitchell Turner helped me. He reaffirmed we could not return the generator (we were well within 30 days, receipt in hand and the generator was never used by us. It was returned in the exact same battered condition as we received it). He then became confrontational and told me, We dont need your business and dont come back. I left the generator at the front counter and left. They still havent refunded our money ($534.99 for an old used generic generator) and she had to file a charge back with her credit card. We are in the process of reporting them to the state attorney for price gouging. Normally I support small local business but all future hardware purchases will be made at Home Depot. They have better prices and actually provide customer service. Mitchell Turner is in his current role due to obvious nepotism and he is not doing his daddys business any favors.Update - I left the same review on their Facebook page and they deleted it and blocked me from their page.

I visit this store because it is close and has a good variety of nuts and bolts which I always need to have.

In the lot of cases Home Depot or Lowes has more stuff and easier to find. But there are a few things that Ace Hardware is better with. They have the Big Green Egg and all the accessories, they have some little brass or copper details that other stores dont, they also have a big selection of outdoor furniture. Service is good if you work with the manager, employees dont seem so good.

Horrible service, my grandmother bought the wrong water pump and was told there is a warranty. When she tried t ok return it then first said there wasnt enough mkney to pay her back...what kind of nonsense is that. And then they said that after calling the owner of the store they co uo usnt return it because we used it. After telling them that we obviously have to use it to know if it works the employee named Russell told me well I should know what kindof pump I need in a very rude manner and continued to be rude to us. I am outraged.
