I found Green Acres Sporting Goods to be the top archery shop in Northeast Florida. They carry products from the top manufacturers for Compound, Traditional and Crossbow. So, they are definitely worth checking out. The archery staff consists of guys who are bowhunters and target shooters, so they know their stuff. They are also friendly, attentive and routinely go above and beyond what is customary to coach me, set-up, adjust, and repair my bow, along with my accessories and equipment. It’s rare to find excellent service in retail but I’ve never had a bad experience at Green Acres. They are also locally-owned and operated, which is a plus in my book.

Great people, horrible prices. Availability is so much better than it has been in the last year and yet they are pricing much higher than other stores in the area. Save yourself some time and money, look online. If you desperately need something, they have it. Just be prepared. Example. 230 for 1000 primers.

I visited green acres to learn about archery and purchase my first bow. Jack was so very helpful in helping me find exactly what I needed to learn how to shoot safely and correctly. Being new to the sport I had no previous knowledge, he took the time to educate me. I will be visiting this store exclusively for my archery and sporting needs. Thank you!

First time there to pick up some 30-30 shells that I ordered for pick up. Purchase was easy and staff were nice. If I lived in the area I could see myself frequenting Green Acres often. Great selection of anything that shoots

Their prices are outrageous!! I called prior to driving an hour away to get some ammunition and they said they didn’t give prices over the phone. So being optimistic I drove an hour to get some 3030 rounds. I got there and they were $79 a box! So for s&g I checked the closest Walmart and they had 2 boxes at $17 each. Needless to say don’t come here for ammunition!

How do people justify buying sporting goods from this store? I was looking to purchase rifle ammo for deer hunting. They are more than 2x higher priced than their competition. $70 for a box of 20 rounds? Luckily other places had it in stock, for $29. Same exact ammo. This company is price gouging sports people, it isn’t right. Maybe they bought pallets of ammo at a bad time or something but it looks to be common in other reviews as well.

While the firearm safety course is efficient enough with it only being $53 and an hour long, the instructor was thorough and made it enjoyable - the gun prices are outrageous. I just purchased a brand new glock 43 from shooters last week for $675 AFTER taxes and while I looked around green acers waiting for the class to start, I saw the same gun for $1300. If you have never bought a gun, please don’t start here. You will not get a good price! Green acres, I know you’re a family ran company but DO BETTER. There’s absolutely no reason for you to charge double the amount for these firearms.

Don’t go here. They are part of the problem. Some of the worst price gouging I’ve seen, even compared to online. Went in looking for some reloading powder. They had a few different kinds I needed. All powders, no matter the brand or MSRP, we’re a blanket 70 dollars. Way over market. They could have made a sale that day. If powder was near the normal price, I would have bought a few and spent more than 70 bucks. But instead, they get none.Few weeks later, I went into another store that had the same exact powder I needed for nearly a quarter of their price. I thanked them for not raising their prices and their response was, “We want to treat our customers right because we want to still have loyal customers when all this is over.” Be more like them, don’t be the problem.

Best bow shop in town. 3 or 4 guys always available for education, repair, tuning, anything with strings.

Great place with a good variety of firearms. Everyone here has always been knowledgeable and friendly when Ive gone in. I wouldnt recommend buying ammo here though unless your desperate. The prices arent the best by a long shot. The accessories are a little up their in price too so Id recommend buying from the distributor if you can.

This Arabs store is too expensive. The St Nicholas at 4630 Blanding is much better gun store than those people who only wants your money but not your business

Ive had a couple of rough experiences here in the past but it seems they have really tightened up their customer service. All in all friendly people and a pretty solid selection in stock.

Went to buy ammo. The prices was extremely high. They wanted $70 for a box of 50 rounds of 45. I was able to find it cheaper at a local gun shop. I was able to buy 2 boxes verses the one at $70. I understand the demand for ammo. I did call prior to going to Green Acres and asked their prices. They said I would have to come in and get the prices. If they would have told me the prices over the phone. I would have not went on an hour drive to get there.But to charge the extreme prices that they did is crazy. Unless you have an extreme emergency I would not recommend buying ammo there. Yes they have ammo and a nice selection of firearms. My family has purchased there before and was happy. Think twice and shop around locally first before going. Make it your last resort for ammo.

Great place, always has been, super helpful staff. Always have what I have needed, even with the muzzleloader stuff I needed I had a hard time finding elsewhere.

Great selection of everything firearms but very pricey.

Had their smith install a side mounting plate on my akm. Ended up with a permanent mount that wasn’t level and translated into an ugly optics setup. Could barely get things sighted in due to the poor quality of work. So disappointed.

Fraud alert. They take your money than screw you up its an Arabs thing

I wanted a new bow for an elk hunt I’m doing later this year and thought I’d try a new shop. Green Acres has the best selection of bows and accessories anywhere I’ve seen in the southeast as well as a good place to try the bow before you buy. Awesome experience and a friendly team to boot. My entire experience in this store was very unpleasant to say the least, no one would even ask if we needed help, and once the manager finally asked if we had been helped, he was completely rude, and acted as though he didn’t want to bother to take our money. I asked for a certain Brand of handgun in a certain price range and he walks away and brings back a gun that was a completely different brand and then doesn’t say anything about the gun, just hands it me to me and looks away and as I am asking a question about what the hell he handed to me three times, he finally glanced back my way and then waved his finger at another employee then walks away again . This man never once even looked me in the eyes, I would recommend just avoiding this place all together.

Price gouging, selling guns and ammo well above MSRP. Then calling security when you call them out on it.

Worst gun shop in town. They had an add I noticed in gun broker for a rifle with 0 bids on it. I called them and they said sure come on down, well sell it to you. I get down there and the manager came out and said they cant sell guns that are on gun broker. Completely wasted my time here. I get back home and theres magically been 1 bid placed on the gun I was interested in on their gun broker add. Thats actually gun broker fraud. These people have been the worst shop in town for quite some time.

I honestly dont see how they stay in business. If your smart, save your money and order online or just go without for a while.

I went in to purchase a personal protection firearm. The salesman was showed me the Taurus G3 9MM. I like it and purchased it. I was charged $400+. I had to wait 3 days for the background check. While I waited I started doing some checking and I noticed every other place I checked the San gun was selling for $278. After looking at my receipt I notice it said all sales final, meaning I could not change my mind on the sale. When I went to pick up the gun, all went well, until I got in my car and opened the box and the gun was there, but the two magazines that come with the gun was not in there. I went back inside and the gentleman that waited on me was very nice and he gave me two magazines. He gave me two 15 round mags, but the gun comes with a 15 round and 17 round mag. I was too frustrated to back inside and argue the point. I don’t think I will patronize this store again. I was also charged $70 for a box of 25 hollow points.

This is by far the best bow shop in the area and probably the best in the state. I will not take my bow anywhere else. Bradley is extremely knowledge and charges a fair price for work. I had a horrible experience with the work done at Southern Sportsmans Outlet and I am extremely happy to have found this shop.

Beware!!! Bad Price Gouging going on here! It’s like the guy at the register is just making up prices when you get to the counter. Bought a magpul handgrip at a decent price(marked on the box), then was recommended that I would need a locking connector (price not marked) that he apparently almost tripled the price of($27), when I can buy this around $10 anywhere else. Receipt said no refunds they didn’t tell me that when I checked out the first visit. Then when I tried to return it he allowed me to trade for a magazine which he said was $27, but I can buy this for $14 anywhere else. This place is definitely crooked!

Id give 0 stars if that were an option. They have always been overpriced but they took the coronavirus as an excuse to charge 3x, 4x, and even 5x the normal price of everything. As an example, I just saw on their website that they are charging $170 for a 20 round box of bullets that is normally $45. If you want to be taken advantage of then this is the place for you. Id recommend no one should ever give this place their business.

Just picked up my new Hoyt RX-4 and they helped me put it together and sight it in. Bradley is so patient and kind. I was there for about two hours on Saturday morning and he handled each customer so well and efficiently. They were so busy. He is extremely knowledgeable about all their products. This is the only place I will shop for my firearms and bow equipment.

This company is price gouging at it worst! Just order 6.5 PRC from MIDWAY USA and decided to look around to see if anyone else got some in... Looks like Green Acres did and charging 3 times more. Guess you are not in business for the long run. And pictures dont lie, so no witty come backs. At least be honest and say you’re trying to retire early.

Purchase a used 380 LCP at this store for $250.00 after the paperwork was completed came home and found out that I was over charge from what three others stores was charging for a brand new one which was $229.00. Call to cancel this order was informed that I could not cancel this order was never informed that when I paid for it that was a final sale.Went to pick up the weapon informed the salesman of what happen that I felt that I was over charge for this item he informed that since weapons are hard to fine that they can charge anything they want to. Will never shop here again.

Cool place, the employees are very helpful and can answer many of your questions. They also have a very large firearm selection, definitely a go to for gun owners.

Great selection for this time in need...but they are price gauging like a mofo right now, which is straight wrong. I could see to raise the price a couple of bucks but to do what they are doing is just insane. They have guns that normally retail at $450 going for $699. Their true colors came out for sure and wont get my business when I am wanting to buy anything. Oh and they charged me $64 for a FFL transfer when the normal price was like $35.

Waaaayyy overpriced on EVERYTHING. I get it, theres a rush on guns and ammunition at the moment but wow. Selling a SA Saint Victor AR pistol for $1500, can get from many other sites/ shops for $1200. Gen3 AR mags for $30?? Can get them for $17.99 at Bass Pro Shops etc. They are definitely taking full advantage of the gun craze, bought a sling from them for $50, peeled the price sticker off to reveal one underneath it for $30. I definitely got took, dont make my mistake, do a lot of searching before settling and buying there.

For archery... your not getting a pro shop feel. Your going to buy a top of the line bow, with top of the line accessories they will be put on the bow, it will be somewhat adjusted to fit you “peep” height and your on your way.Us little people will remember when reloading supplies get slim and the ammunition supply drops and stores like this raise the price of regular old garbage 5.56 to $1 per round..Don’t buy this from them.... let it sit in their inventory forever. The simple fact you jack up the prices after doing so much business is shameful.

I was new to purchasing guns. I bought two high points guns and they removed the magazines. I was not aware that the extra magazines were included. I learned about that afterwards. They take advantage of newbies. They price gouge and lack customer service. Not going back.

I have been here several times before the Pandemic. The first time was because of items I had seen showing available on their website but when I got there they said they didnt stock. Several other times went in looking for firearms or other sporting goods and found them too expensive. Recently went for ammo that they said they had in stock only to find it 200% more than everyone else that was already very high. Will never go back to this price gouging place.

Looks like a big selection of guns, fishing gear and such. I went here to get my concealed weapons certificate. $50 for a hour class. Very informative. Has classes everyday of the week.

Went in to purchase a couple of boxes of 9mm ammo only to find out that Green Acres is up charging a ridiculous amount. A box of 115 grain 9mm ammo $69.95 for 50 rounds. I looked up the same brand/type of ammo online and found it several places for $30. I was trying to shop local, but that went out the door. So sad to see that they are trying to take advantage of people!!

Like the place. Prices are a little high compared to others. Some staff are really great but some others not so much. Its kind of 50/50 when I go in. Giving them a 4 star vs 3 because they by far have the best CW class in town.

This place is tremble customer service.Bought a M & P 9mm ez.After opening the box I noticed it only had 1 magazine. I asked the sale person where the other one is. He said it only comes with 1, but i can sell you another 1 for $42.00. I said no I will wait.Came home and call Smith & Wesson gave them the serial #, and they told me that gun was manufactured 1 month ago and it most definitely had 2 magazines.Called back to Green Acres and they still wanted to argue with me. When I told them I just talked to S&W he changed his tune.He told me to come back and he would replace it, but i am 42 miles away.Found 1 at a local gun shop for $25.00.I will not be going back there to shop.
