Always has what I need and more. Overall the cost is fair however there are a few things that border outrageous when it comes to pricing. But you can usually count on them having a good deal somewhere.

If you visit here try making it before 3p. The 5 star rating is based on experiences before that time. If I rated the store after it would get negative stars.The morning staff is super friendly and still give you that feeling of small town family. Everyone knows your name.

Great location in Jacksonville. Great alternative to shopping at Walmart. Needs a little renovation.

Anyone who lives in east Texas and south eastTx. knows theyre a great place to get groceries, tobacco, good hot food,and fabulous beer selection. Gas also.

Older store with medium selection. Their on site cooked food is great, with a few tables to eat there. Bakery is good. Lots of fresh produce.

Has all the east Texas regulars- super sweet foods/bevs. Limited selections of several items. You wont find west coast regular items here, but thats the norm for the region 🤷‍♀️. Still has most of the basics. Very friendly, helpful & clean.

I experienced very distasteful customer service today in the Jacksonville store.The manager refused to return my money back when the machine did not give me the item I was trying to purchase . I have shopped at Brookshires in Jacksonville, Texas for years and feel that this kind of treatment is terrible and a disgrace for the manager to make an untrue statement . You tell me what would justify him telling me that I couldnt get my money when I had nothing that belonged to Brookshires!

I love the family of brookshire brothers here in my town.. if you want to see future generations.. learning how to be a team.. working together.. helping the old , helping stock a town. When we are in the middle of a pandemic.. these teenagers need to be recognized.. so proud.. of all of them.. jacksonville tx..

Thank yall for doing Thanksgiving dinners and taking my order at the last minute, it allowed my dad to have a wonderful Thanksgiving with my first born and his first grandchild, it was beautiful. And that sweet potato casserole was to diiiie fooor 😍😍😍 I loved it and the mac and cheese yummmieeeee!

I would say their average rating is about a c they could do better for sure but they can certainly do worse I would say they passed the threshold of satisfactory but nothing beyond that

Since 1921, Brookshires has been in Jacksonville, Texas as a good food store for quite a few people. I like it because it has kept me healthy by supplying me with fresh produce without a lot of trouble.

This store Jacksonville has the best customer service. Really good prices and always a smile. I walked in and ordered a 55 piece chicken and mashed potatoes for 25 people and they smiled and said no problem. What great folks!s

The items I was needing this week were on sale. The shelves were full so had no issues with purchasing any of the sale items. This is not a fancy store...its a family store and has a family atmosphere. We have known one of the cashiers for several years and always get a huge hug. Thats the kind of store this is.

Cashier was rude and was on the phone laughing and totally disregarding that we were standing there, she even drops my bread and threw my pecan pie . ITS HARD TO FIND GOOD HELP I GUESS.

Were so happy youre back Kelly. I hope you enjoyed your vacation and all but things at the pharmacy just werent the same while you were gone. Now that youre back I know you will get things back in order. We missed you!!

Almost everything you need but with a bit more expense for the equivalents other grocery stores.

They could not keep enough peach cobbler out back in the eighties and the same thing is still true for 2019! You would think they could put twice as much out there on Sundays... lol... they already know were coming. Perhaps I will not have to drive 150 miles again and be disappointed because everyone got there before me.

I love this store! When I dont want to go to the supercenter, I stop here all the time. Always have what I need and they are always friendly and helpful.

Cashier was to busy talking to her coworkerwith putting down the customer that was in front of us & being nasty , to great us , ask anything or even say , here is your recipe. She just stuck her hand out while facing the boy & kept yacking.She needs to be working in the back of the deli with her attitude

Chris and I made a quick stop at Brookside Brothers this afternoon. We really like their produce department and enjoy the small town feel of shopping there. Its just a few blocks from the house making it a convenient grocery destination. My only complaint... The deli is too tempting!

The checker Madison on Register 4 on 10/1/2019 at around 3:45. Very rude. Didnt smile, greet just handed money and walked off. Very rude. If she doesnt like her job and doesnt want to work she needs to be fired or go home and come back when shes in a better mood. Prices way too high.

Everyone was nice and polite, the products were all good... but the store just seemed kinda blah. I know its just a grocery store and it serves the purpose well, I will go back Im sure. It was like when you expect to pull a crisp white shirt out of the washer but you end up with a dingy looking one instead.

Brookshire Brothers is my go to store. They have great produce and meats. I dont feel like I lose out by paying too much for some items due to their customer loyalty program Celebrate and digital coupons.

Brookshire brothers is generally higher on their stuff and not any better quality than any where else

They have a really good meat department, and they always have a wide variety of fresh bread and produce. Plus the store is always very clean. Add to that the friendly employees, and you have a store worthy of five stars.

Very disappointed. Produce was not fresh, had to ask for milk that was not going to expire the next day. Over heard employees complaining about how they were treated. I had to really pay attention to dates and freshness on what I was purchasing. I will not be back to your store. I am sorry but it is obvious that your employees are not trained to rotate and pull products that are out of date or going bad. Something that you may want to go back and revisit to retrain.Thanks!

Been in a lot of Brookshires, this is one of the nicer ones. Great staff and decent prices. Its a little pricey compared to Walmart, but well worth the few extra bucks to avoid the crowd.
