Im having to update my review. Ordered from here and it said it would be ready in 35 minutes. Show up 45 minutes later and it isnt ready. It takes another additional 40 minutes before my food is ready. The order consisted mainly of sushi and was not a big order. The teriyaki and hibachi meals come with very little meat and a ton of veggies.

This is the only place I go for sushi now. They are amazing!During the worst of covid, they put safety precautions in place immediately and kept feeding people with take out.Every single time I order from them its good. I mean really good. Im ruined for other places. It comes beautiful, fresh and very tasty every time.Not to mention how very nice the people that run this place are. Its a shame that friendly, great service is so hard to come by, but lets face it, it is. Im always greeted so kindly when I go here and they seem to really care about customer service.

Solid price for the food which is great. The rolls are large and vibrant. Portions are nicely sized as well. Staff is courteous. Be patient if ordering at peak hours.

It was very slow, the sauces were watered down, such as the duck sauce hot mustard etc etc etc. The actual food when we got it was very good. FYI you have to ask for ginger and wasabi.

The service is always friendly and fast here. When I order online, its always ready in the time specified. I just wish they had a few more sushi roll choices with shellfish. More plain fish rolls. It would be nice if the volcano rolls had a bit more of the crab salad on top. Seems very light.

The best sushi place in Jax, hands down! Friendly service, remembers their customers, repeats orders back, always goes above and beyond. Not once have I gotten bad sushi. They definitely use quality ingredients and have great food! I go here at least a couple times a month!

I always enjoy eating here. The service is fantastic as well. I’m a huge fan of their ginger salad dressing, better than others I’ve tried throughout the city.I recommend trying any of their rolls unique to their spot. One of my favorites is the Fuji special roll, the one with lemon on top.Check them out. I’ve been eating here for years

So far, mine and my husband’s favorite sushi/Japanese restaurant. We have tried many others but this is the best tasting, friendly and cleanest place. It’s not as over priced as the other Japanese Steakhouses around here.

The ratings here are way off. If you want very lazily prepared food that includes massive chunks of dry rubbery chicken then go here. You can tell from dining here how little the kitchen staff cares about the quality of their food. It’s clear from eating our food(or attempting to) that this must be their cooking process. 1. Cut giant chicken breast into 6 or 8 large pieces, cut veggies into giant chunks- throw into a pot or wok that is way overcrowded. Dump watery teriyaki sauce into pot. Let the chicken and veggies boil until you can legally serve the rubbery chicken and mushy giant veggies. Anyone who gave this place 5 stars is literally going to scare people visiting Jacksonville into thinking that this is somehow “good food” in Jacksonville. I am assuming the people cooking have no culinary experience or think they are saving time by lazily cutting and cooking their food.

Best sushi in Jax! They consistently serve fresh and delicious food! Service is great. The outside of the place looks dark and odd at first but is cozy inside!

Sushi is always so fresh and delicious, my favorite in town by far! My favorite thing to order is the Sashimi lunch combo and the portions are amazing! When I used to dine in, the ambiance was peaceful and cozy and the service was top notch. Now, with take out, I only ever interact with one employee but she is always very friendly and patient!

I’ve been here hundreds of times! It’s just great! Spicy tuna is solid. Some special roles are a bit pricey, but there are cheaper substitutions to help lower the bill. The gyoza is delectable. There’s a sweet vinegary sauce with it for dipping. EVERY HIBACHI IS GOOD!!! The employees are super NICE!!! There had only been one time when one of them was undeniably rude. They close from 4-5 to let everyone eat (how awesome!), but I arrived there at THREE and the tall, slender, long black haired waitress with the pretty, long nails said, “What would you like for carry out?” And I said, “Oh, we were hoping to eat in” (pre-COVID) and there were only 2 tables being used. She was like, “No, only carry out.” I nicely said, “Okay, well thank you.” And I went outside to my mom to tell her the situation. We decided we wouldn’t go back, but that lasted for maybe 1 or 2 months, because everyone else who works there and the food, is worth it. She hasn’t been rude in I couldn’t tell you when, but I have noticed in reviews that she tends to be the only complaint about customer service. Honestly, don’t mind her, everyone is really kind!

Best sushi in Jacksonville! I’ve been a customer there for almost 10 years now, and the quality is just as good as the first day I ate there.

We have been going to this location for years. The sushi is always good. The new pick up system is safe and appreciated. Cold stuff in one bag and hot in another! I will say we were disappointed in the first thing in a while and that was the beef teriyaki, which was lack luster compared to previous experiences. The meat was good, but far less than ever before and the veggies were very large cut potatoes that tasted like they were under done and very large carrot pieces.... That was it... So weird and not good at all and will not be getting again. Everything else was good though.

Definitely still good quality Fuji Sushi. I dont if its the same across the city, but I liked it at this location. It was quaint and the specials were pretty good. Foods always good and the service was pretty good!

Went there today and ordered the Hibachi vegetables and sushi. It was dowsed in an unfamiliar brown sauce and tasted old and stale, I’m hoping we don’t get sick from it. The lady was not very nice and rushing us to order and go. Once we ordered she sat down and ate with all of the rest of the staff and was on her phone the whole time. This definitely was not Japanese food, as it is not run by Japanese people at all. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

I really enjoyed the entire experience from the restaurant. We usually order from a different japanese place but the prices increased, so we decide to try here. We ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp and some sushi. The hibachi was very good and the fried rice was soo good. The sushi was fresh and since we ordered togo it was still nicely displayed in the container which made it all that much better. It was about 35% cheaper than the competitors and as good if not better than the place we always eat. Thank you for the good food.

It was not rhe best sushi and I have had much better hibachi but the service was excellent. In fact the waitress provided us with the best service since we moved to Jacksonville. My husband and I said we will definitely go back.

This low key restaurant does not disappoint. Friendly staff, sushi is DELICIOUS, every single thing Ive tried has been great and you just cant beat the prices considering the quality. Quiet and casual atmosphere for a nice quick meal or even date night. Ive ordered for pick-up several times and dined in and they are pretty fast too.
