I’m only giving them 2 stars for their quality of lumber. If you ever buy lumber here be sure to double check behind the person taking the measurements and do your own calculations. They took me for an additional 4bf and when I called them and gave them the true dimensions of the lumber they told me I need to take into account for shrinkage and the humidity. They told me I can bring it back to confirm the lumber dimensions but it’s not worth my time and fuel.

Went to FSP for the first time today to purchase some hardwood lumber for a project. The staff was extremely friendly, easy to work with, gave good advise and happy to sit and talk lumber. Id heard lumber stores like this can be intimidating but the folks here were amazing! Only needed about 20 board feet so not a big purchase but they didnt treat me like a small time customer. Cant wait to go back, the selection is amazing and the prices seemed fair.

Here we go Cabinet makers of central florida, Another 20 pairs of Fla Southerns trash soft close drawer slides. These things dont last a week sometimes. and Fla Southern will not warrant them. I would give no star but the place will not let me post unless i give at least one. Funny thing is the owners son came and saw but will do nothing.

Been there a couple of times. Only place I know of in Jax to get Baltic Birch. Also, great selection of lumber species. Just wish they were open at least a half a day on Saturday. I mean, I have job so getting by the store is next to impossible for me. Guess that is one good thing that came from virus thing, working from home. I could take my lunch break and go to FSP. That so far, is the only reason for the 4 stars...not being open on Saturday.

Staff was very friendly and helped me find a perfect piece of plywood for a project. I was building an outdoor TV cabinet and decided to use hickory for the shaker cabinet inserts and backing after talking with staff at FSP and comparing their AWESOME selection. They also have some beautiful cabinetry examples on site.Be prepared, they do not do any on-site cutting so you’ll have to take anything you want to buy home in one piece.

When you are looking for quality wood, this is the place. They are always informative and always go out of their way to help the customer. They are more of a traditional lumbar supply so a lot of their lumber is rough dimensions. A lot more selection than the local box chains.
