Hidden, but really good. The entrances are hard to spot--feels like a secret door. But they are still so busy! The interior is great for a college town coffee shop and their menu is good. They even have a gluten-free option for sandwiches. Their house coffee is solid which is my standard. As busy as they are, I recommend ordering online.

First time at their newer location and had a great experience. I thought the menu boards looked amazing both with the variety to choose from and the creative display. The homemade beauty products they sell in the front part of the store added to the cozy feel of the place & seemed like a great line of products with fun names. My drink was a great value for the price I paid and how well it tasted, so I defiantly recommend checking them out if you are looking for coffee, tea, or just a place to grab a meal especially with the great size seating area they have. The employees are helpful and patient while people order which is very important at a coffee shop and the baked goods on the counter looked delicious and I plan on not eating before I head over next time so I have room to try one. I am glad to see a place like this in jacksonville and next time I am in town I will be meeting up with friends here again.

Seriously... whether you are going east or west... take the time to stop by this gem. Amazing tea and coffee selection; little surprises everywhere in the store from decor to shelf product. A truly wonderful visit in our bucketlist search for the ultimate coffee shoppe experience. Best part... there were bags of used coffee grounds on the patio with a note that they are free for the taking to add to compost piles - AWESOME!! Best, best part... a pay-it-forward wall with drinks purchased by patrons that can be used by anyone who either forgot their wallet (lack of coffee plays with the mind), or when there is more month left after the paycheck has lived put its usefulness. Seriously, just a gem find!!

Absolutely a gem of a coffee shop on the quaint town square. A very cool and eclectic vibe without being campy and overdone. Cafe Al Lait made in the traditional French method without any unnecessary whamwham, zoomzooms messing it up. Apple muffin was very fresh and flavorful and the employees were interested and conscientious in their tasks. Very good sanitizing protocols in place too. If youre in the area, stop in..

Really cute, laid back, small town coffee place. Large menu - bagels, wraps, muffins, cookies, scones, and a delightful flourless chocolate tarte! The gals at the counter were really chill and nice; offered great suggestions. I also had a chai tea latte - the flavor was excellent! Most places, in my opinion, dont add enough spice- i like mine prettttty spicy haha. So yea it was great but cold....or rather luke warm. Only complaint i have for the place. And its not a complaint, just worth mentioning and funny in my opinion - when i walked in everyone who was seated at the few table scattered about the front - haha they all turned and looked at me. I Guess if i lived in a town as small as this i would turn and look too, thinking that i would most likely know the person walking in. Haha it was awkward but funny and cute and small townish in a really great way! All of it!

Im from Nashville, TN, so I know a thing or two about good, locally owned coffee houses. Soap Co. Coffee House is a small business that Im surprised to find in Jacksonville. Its probably a good thing, they can capitalize on the fact that Jacksonville remains a college town with few hangout spots. The inside of Soap has a rustic hipster ambience with a good selection of breakfast wraps and pasties. I had a vanilla chai latte that I believe was one of the best chai lattes Ive ever had.I honestly wish I could lift this shop up and take it back home with me.

Shop local! The owner here is an amazing, hard working woman who worked her fingers to the bone to make this place what it is today. Which is a beautiful, cozy coffee house with the option to buy local merchandise from vendors in the surrounding area. This shop is overflowing with creativity and positive energy. They even host a poetry night and several other community oriented events. I highly recommended this coffee shop to anyone who loves coffee and peaceful atmosphere.

Everyone rants and raves about their coffee, but you know what most coffee shops mess up 9 times out of 10? A damn London Fog. Ive given up ordering them most places except by a friends recommendation but I decided to try theirs on an impulse and... it was just perfect. Ive looked and looked and looked and it turns out one of the best London Fogs in the tristate area is just an hour away. Youre doing yourself a disservice not giving them a chance if youre in Jacksonville!

Grew up in this town. But life moves you around so I had not been back here for quiet a while. But I’m visiting now and just found the little gem of a coffee shop. It’s in a Civil War era building over 100 years old. I am spoiled with all the great coffee roasters of the Pacific Northwest so I’m picky about my coffee. Get in this place and taste the roast on their coffee it is really good. Lots of great baked treats to choose from.
