I visited Pura Bean for the first time time today and am glad I did. Friendly staff, lots of seating available and the Pumpkin Pie dirty Chai is PERFECT - lots of fall flavor but not particularly sweet.

It smelled so good when I walked in. The lady that was working was so nice and patient. I had never been in and went in hungry. I got the brisket wrap and the Ell (vanilla latte with cinnamon and oatmilk). The place was clean and organized. They had art for sale from local artists. I would definitely come back and also recommend this place.

I have an amazing experience each time I come here. Probably the best coffee I’ve ever had, great atmosphere, great prices, and the employees are always super kind. Ive been going to this place for years now and in my humble opinion I think this is the best coffee in Jacksonville. Chris truly cares about the quality of his bean juice, from sourcing unique coffee beans from around the world to his roasting methods on site. It is the only place in town to get a cup of coffee brewed from beans that were roasted within the last few days. It has truly ruined me for literally any other cup of brew anywhere. I buy my beans there regularly and they have excellent breakfast items in a comfortable friendly environment. Take a break from Starbucks and try a cup of real coffee at Pura Bean!

Really disappointed with this place. I went there based on the reviews, but when I walked in I saw that none of the staff members were wearing masks or gloves, and none of the customers wearing masks either. In addition to this, it was still morning and only a few flat pastries were available, nothing like the previous reviews and pictures, but again, it wouldnt have been safe to eat them anyway. At this time I simply cant patronize or recommend places that arent being safe during the pandemic and arent doing even the bare minimum to protect their customers.

Best cold brew I ever had!!!!!!! I have been going here for years and everyone I brought there coffee too has raved about it. Its literally my weekly gift to myself. If your visiting Jacksonville FL you need to try there coffee!!!!

First time here and ordered a Cuban “con leche” and it was perfect! Standard two shots for an eight once. My party got a lavender latte and a matcha green tea - both perfect as well. Kudos!

Hidden in the big plaza so it is hard to find unless you know what you looking for. Cute little shop with good coffee. Stopped on the way and didnt regret. Loved it.

If you like supporting local businesses that actually provide a superior product, this is for you. Their coffee is superb, fairly priced and the people who work there are unfailingly helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. The Bourbon Street blend is my favorite but theyre all good. They always have their bagged coffee in stock and even if I dont feel like driving out Beach, I know Ill see them at Riverside Arts Market on Saturdays.

Good coffee. A little pricey. I had the Deuce and it was exceptional. There caramel latte my wife had was a little bland and lacking flavor. Had the Deuce not been as good I would have rated 3 stars due to the price of the menu.I did really appreciate the small business aspect and how all of the beans are roasted on site. If supporting local businesses is something that speaks to you then this is a good place to check out.

Everything about this place is amazing! Its on the same strip as my office and its so easy and convenient to get my morning coffee. The entire staff and owner are so nice and have great customer service. Love them!

I checked out the cafe on a Sunday around 2. The owner was very pleasant and hospitable. While we sat outside the ambience inside was relaxing and soothing as we waited for our drinks to be made. There was a good flow of traffic from the time we sat down to the time we left. At closing I offered to help with bringing in outside tables and chairs because we had utilized them during the stay and the owner very graciouly declined. If you would like a great cup of coffee and a relaxing environment I suggest Pura Bean :)

Probably some of my favorite locally roasted coffee. One of the only places in Jacksonville currently doing a dark roast. The owner is friendly and the shop has a laid back vibe.

Pura Bean is a local roaster. They roast the beans right in the coffee shop.!I live in Nocatee and willl drive 18 miles past innumerable coffee shops to get to Pure Bean!The coffee is roasted to perfection every time!I purchased not only their drip coffee but their whole beans as well.If you want real coffee. You cant beat Pura Bean!!I highly recommend them.

I believe in using whole beans within a week of roasting for best flavor. Where else in Jax beach can you buy a bag of dark roast beans roasted yesterday? Nowhere Ive found. Theyre roasting skills are good - another key factor. I had a quality cappuccino. Also they had single origin from Bali - Im not a fan of central american coffee, so another plus.

Entire staff and owner especially are dedicated to making your visit an experience. Fantastic coffee, the creative quality of the baked goods is few and far between from other coffee shops around the area. Highly recommended.

Great little place. I really enjoyed their food. If you can make it early enough to get breakfast on Sunday I highly suggest it. However they typically run out of food. They also have quite delicious coffee drinks. Im very pickey about my coffee and their coffee is on point. They also have someone in there selling Acai bowls part time and theyre seriously good as well.

Havent been to the actual store, only did Uber eats, but it was good and they used cute little paper straws with fun colored napkins.

Lets just say I was reluctant to come here Bc Im a coffee snob (inadvertently) and I hate cheap coffee. If I want cheap nasty coffee Ill just go to Starbucks thank you. But when I saw the pour-over paraphernalia I was like okayyy I might just be in heaven. And when I tasted the coffee, it was indeed divine. And they make their pastries in-house. And theyre christian-owned. Doesnt get any better than that for me!

First time here and the experience was great the barista explained everything very well about the different coffee brews. I decided on a cortadito espresso it was very well made with a nice looking crema before the steamed milk was added to create a nice design.

They are absolutely amazing and they support other small businesses and local artists
