I have always enjoyed Port City Java, and this time I decided to shake things up by getting a bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, slice of cheddar, and an egg white, it was the best breakfast Ive had this year. P.S. if you are sensitive to caffine take care to buy a decaf beverage. I was up all night😅

Great little hole in the wall coffee shop with great tasting coffee and fresh baked foods. Very comfortable and cozy inside! Highly recommend checking this place out!

Port City Java coffee drinks are always delicious no matter what location I get them from, however the Jacksonville location always provides polite service and they have cute little riddles posted on their drive-thru window! I appreciate how they find ways to interact with their customers, especially during this time of COVID. P.S. My husband and children love their milkshakes, bagels and cookies! They provide something for everyone in the family.

Visited this place while taking a trip to Jacksonville, NC. Excellent house blend coffee with super friendly staff. 5 stars all the way!

Great place to unwrap and relax and nice staff of ladies, but why do they have to wear masks when their is no mask mandate for Jacksonville NC.? The entire staff stated they too are vaccinated. It’s sad to watch them sweat their faces off when completely distanced and vaccinated.

I like this place better than Starbucks. Not as busy and have great drinks and snacks.

Must stop! Driving through getting an early start back on the road and stopped here for coffee. WOW,! Great coffee! We came half hour past their opening, one person working. She was great making coffee and food. The breakfast food we got was good too. We will definitely stop again.

I love this place. I go here every time I have an off day to treat myself with a smoothie and a Mediterranean wrap. Also, when I sometimes have early shifts at work, I always stop by to get a build our own breakfast sandwich and a yummy caramel latte! All around wonderful place!

Very welcoming environment and clean place. Food came out steaming hot and the coffee tasted fresh. This was my first time in a Port City Java and I do believe Ill be returning in the future. The workers were very friendly and had patience with us. Recommended for anyone that is driving by.

Great alternative to Starbucks. If you are used to Starbucks then you just have to get familiar with the naming of the drinks.

Visited this location for the first time today, my husband googled bagel around the area and Port City Java popped out. I tried the Mediterranean wrap and it was delish, rich flavor. Husband had the butter croissant and he really liked it. Kids tried the plain bagel and they loved them. Will definitely go back :)

If you want to be late for work and have your coffee cap drip this is the place to go. Way too slow service and coffee cups always spill.

Indoor seating is still unavailable. They say you can sit on the patio but they dont have any umbrellas or anything other than some tables that are falling apart. Its drive-thru only and they didnt give us any straws so we had to go back through to get the straws. I ordered a chai tea latte and it wasnt that great. The ice was like crushed ice so it dissolved quickly and the whip cream tasted like it was out of a can. I also ordered a peanut butter cooking which I normally love and it was not good at all.

I’ve been a regular here for awhile. The staff is very friendly and makes a great product. PLEASE bring back the cranberry turkey sandwiches! Those were my favorite thing on the lunch menu!

My favorite coffee place! Especially because they have plenty of sugar free options. I usually get a sugar free Expresso freeze, which is amazing if youre doing low carb or keto. They have great customer service with friendly employees. Today, specifically I had the best customer service from there. I wish I knew is name so I can mention it here, but hes a guy with dark hair. AWESOME customer service! Very patient with customers, outgoing, friendly and super helpful!

Awesome. I drive all the way across town to go there.. Mediterranean wrap add chicken. Atleast once a week like clock work. Also love the smoothies.

The have a pretty good menu, and the food is tasty for fast food...its only drive thru now so the menu and atmosphere are not as good.. cant wait until they are fully open again.

If I could give more stars I would. My husband and I have been going to PJC everyday for a while now. We love the coffee and the people. I’m pretty sure they know who it is the second we say our order. They are sweet to our toddler too. Unfortunately we have moved away and won’t be able to have PJC again. We really are going to miss it. I hope that one day we can come back and enjoy a cup of their coffee and see our favorite baristas. Thank you for everything guys from your Medium hot black coffee and small iced caramel with extra creamer and extra sugar💕

Moved here 2 years ago, been coming here ever since! Cant beat the Iced Black&Tan - its always a hit! Staff is friendly and always great service! The Mediterranean Wrap is always hot and delicious! My husband is a big fan of the Iced Carmaello Leche

Loved stopping in here! I dont frequently go out and order coffee, but the barista was very helpful suggesting based on my likes. I had a nice little breakfast English muffin and sat and enjoyed the environment for almost an hour.

Little sweet. Scones were very good. Hard to hear them through their intercom and had a hard time communicating with the girl.

The service here is fast and good. Theres a good view of the water from the patio. The music inside is quiet enough that it doesnt prevent concentration, if you want to read while enjoying your order. All in all, its a nice, comfortable location for a lazy day.

Great service and quick. Environment was good enough to work or have your toddler hang out. Food was great! We got sandwiches & bagels.

This is a nice little local coffee shop. I come to the shop whenever Im in town. The staff are always friendly and the coffee is delicious.

It was kind of expensive but so is every coffee shop, it was worth it though cause their coffees are amazing!! Also the small size is much bigger than a starbucks small which is nice.

First time at this coffee shop. I recommend this place. I was visiting my son in Camp Lejeune. Walking inside, there is a living room feel with a couple of sofas.

If Starbucks isnt your thing and youre looking for something closer to an actual coffee shop, this is the first place Id suggest you visit.The coffee variety is decent, and theres plenty of small lunch items to select from (assuming theyre in stock anyways) from the kitchen or from the counter.Theres a handful of inside and outside seating, local art on the walls, the place keeps itself clean and the staff are nothing to complain about!My only complaints are that the drive-thru is rough to drive over and sometimes the drinks are sweeter than youd expect. Nothing huge.Good enough to keep going back for more, and they even got their own app!

My favorite coffee place EVER. You pay a lil more for quality drinks here. Plus they love dogs and put little biscuits in the dog whipped cream cups 🥰❤

When my husband and I go out to run errands, this is like our “treat” to ourselves. Starbucks is good, Dunkin’ is cheap and good, but Port City is great. Like the Milky Way & Almond Joyful are my favorites. Their pricing is similar to Starbucks, but more worth it in my opinion. Their muffins are amazing (especially the seasonal ones) and the staff is so friendly.

I was the only customer there when I pulled up to the drive thru. I ordered a large hot choclate which took almost 10 minutes to make. I enjoyed the drink, just not the wait.

Great coffee on a nice location near downtown. Something nice to have other than the same old mainstream places. Very private, cozy and adequate to study while having a drink or a snack.

This place. My first time coming a week ago, and with my little one. The staff is super friendly, helpful and definitely will make sure you’re welcomed! The egg and cheese wrap wasn’t the best option as it seemed just, idk not as expected and not too appealing, but the egg and bacon cheese English muffin was good. The coffee was good and the green wave smoothie was amazing. The cleanliness though and by 0900 was not as expected. Crumbs and hair all within the booth and you can see the window seals or just sum areas don’t get wiped down often. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t great to see and especially for the first time to come with my little one. I won’t hold it against the one time though, but a deep clean should be a must!

Went in there to get some work done. Was able to get it done without a problem. Good java shake too.

Do not recommend. But Giving this 3 stars instead of 0 because the cashier was sweet and the barista was mildly polite and I really think it comes down to the products used not the skill of the barista but my almond milk latte was undrinkable. I never toss coffee (especially when I pay that much) but it tasted like coffee flavored original (not barista) almond Milk. Will not return. But as a barista myself I know you can only control so much and have to work with what you got. I think the problem here is the quality of the espresso and the choice of milk by the people in charge.

This rating will be higher if they ever fix the smell inside the place. There is a disgusting sewage smell that permeates most of the establishment, unfortunately. Other than that, they have great coffee and the best hot tea choices. The pastries are usually on the dry side, but they are tasty. The staff is usually friendly and efficient, but it depends.

Was so thrilled when I found out Jacksonville had a port city java Im from the Wilmington area which is where they originated from well you know Wilmington is the port city so anyways its a little expensive but its awesome coffee you get your moneys worth

They may have been great before they grew but there are much better coffee shops in jacksonville. Their coffee tastes like sweet syrup and hot water. Go to Southern Harvest or milk road

These people let us who didnt have anywhere to go to sit in there and chill until closing time or it was time to go. Theyre really sweet. Like these kind of people. Doesnt have a cold heart.

The ice tea and egg and cheese sandwich were good but I was very bothered by the number of bugs I saw climbing on the furniture and walls. I saw at least 10 crawling bugs, especially by the boot walls and floor and the comfy chairs. Also the floor and booths were filthy.

Amazing little town coffee place. Just wish it was between my house and work, Id stop there everyday. A little out of the way where it is right now. Dont go by as much as I wish, its just out of the way. Food is amazing and always fresh though.

First impressions are important. My first time visiting a PCJ of which I advised barista, whom was as sweet as pie. After chatting a little I decided on the caramel ice coffee....😊great! Or so I thought. After pulling out of the parking lot I took my first sip & notice the coffee was a little strong...no problem, once the ice begins to melt it will be perfect. Second sip, cough cough what the what? I lift the cup to look at the bottom and yep😣, lots of coffee ground. Needless to say that this will probably be my last visit🤔.
