From the first meeting with Robert to talkWith him about what type of tile that I would like in home. I love he asked why I want that type of tile. I let him know it look good. I love he me question about how I used my home? Me as a grandparent I love having my grandkids over. Robert education me on different types of tile and ability of each. Horrible customer service! We had new floors installed and after a few months the floor started to separate and rise. They came out to repair one spot but charged us extra, even though we were told we had a warranty. The floors started to separate in other places and when we called for them to repair it the owner got an attitude and acted very unprofessional. I would not recommend them! The owner is very nice when he is trying to sell you service but if you need anything after he is VERY unprofessional! Floor in my bedroom that has separated nowhere close to the AC!

We hired the Five Star team to replace all 2100 sq ft of flooring in our house. We previously had tile and carpet, and we took advantage of Five Stars all-inclusive demo, furniture moving, and install package to swap it out for luxury vinyl plank throughout the house.I cannot emphasize enough how professional the entire experience was. From the helpful ladies in the showroom, to the on-time and no-pressure sales/estimate, to the owner of the company himself coming out to do our tile-demo estimate and answer all our questions. When install time came, their subcontracted tile demo team was on time, professional, quick, and clean. Then, the Five Star team installing our floors knocked out the entire project in two days. We wanted to replace the flooring in our entire home, and once we decided to stay away from big box stores, we found this company along with a few other local places - all with comparable reviews. We visited another companies showroom and were not happy with their customer service (or lack of) so went to Five Star instead. We were greeted by Peggy, who thankfully knows her stuff, because I dont really know much about flooring. She gave us a run down of the difference between laminate and the luxury vinyl plank. We told her what we were looking for in terms of wear and our lifestyle and she gave us her recommendations, but did not put any pressure on us. The owner, Roy, came to our home to give us an estimate, and he was awesome too. Since wed already chosen our floors, we had an estimate before he left our home. One of the things we appreciated most is that the number he gave us was it...there were no hidden fees or added costs for this or that to come as a surprise later. Although you hope for the best, you never know what kind of work crew will show up at your house. We could not have asked for a better group of guys. Alex, Max, and Shane went above and beyond. The were professional, courteous, and respectful of our home and property. They answered any and all questions I had and even made sure I knew how to properly clean my new floors. The demolition team did an amazing job and took time to protect existing cabinetry and items that were still in the home. I received quotes from five different companies and Five Star Services beat every one of them.When you call them to receive a quote expect it to be about week from the day you call. They are booked out and rightfully so. When they come to measure, they are quick and incredibly accurate. They will leave you with a ball park estimate of what you will be paying as long as you have a material already picked out.Today, they installed my flooring and my wife and I could not be happier. They came earlier than expected and immediately began working. They were done earlier than expected and the end product is better than I could have ever have hoped. They cut everything perfectly, caulked everything, and clean the mess they make.The installers were very professional, knowledgable, and helped with any requests I made. Our floors were installed this week and we are absolutely thrilled with the look. This was a good and efficient service from all the staff involved from the showroom to the installation it was worth 10 stars. Robert and his team worked non stop and my friends are amazed the job was completed in one day carpets removed, flooring laid and furniture moved despite being on the 4th floor of a condo building and competing for the elevator with furniture removals that day. The owner, Roy called me on a Friday evening to clarify. The quality in Five Stars planks met all my expectations.Their name really does say it all. I was shocked at $5.99 sqft I would receive such a great product along with them moving my large furniture, removing my carpet and filling in holes in concrete, installing floor, installing quarter round AND putting my furniture back. From the gentleman that came out to give me an estimate, to Peggy in the office helping us with our selection and definitely the installers...the staff is awesome. The installers were friendly, clean and efficient. I would definitely recommend this company 100 times!

Sixteenth months ago, We decided to have our whole house done with one of Five Star Services special promotion after receiving several bibs for our home. Who could turn down a job offer that would take only Two days, 2064 square feet home in two days sign me up! Roy and his staff did an amazing job! Unfortunately two months ago, our home had and unexpected leak from our A/C unit which damage our laundry room floors and part of the living room area. I finally had my flooring done, and the wife loves it. What was scheduled for a day and a half job took only a day, so I didnt have to take time off for a 2nd day!The only negative from the experience is the mess they left, as they could have covered or told me to cover things, so all the dust wouldnt have gotten all over the place.

5 star services in Jax FL. was our final decision because of several reasons, professionalism that the owner Roy showed us when he came to our home the first time.... price was very competitive, he gave some advice on little things he thought would make the job look great when finished.... I had several companies that advertise on TV about the specials they were running, but when they come out, the deal was not really a deal .... one of the companies salesman come out WITHOUT ANY SAMPLES....I told ROY what I had in mind over the phone, he brought a few samples to the home and he nailed the right color ... it took us months to get the right company, but it was worth the search... The install crew led by also ROY was so good at what they were doing, they work unbelievably fast, very detail on making the floor look like a showroom... if you get these guys in your home, tell them what you want and move out the way and let them do what they do best.. we are completely satisfied with calling Five Star Services from start to finish.... They are in jax fl , if you want a great deal with a showroom look, call them today... you will be glad you did..sammy

The installation was not bad and the team was very pleasant but the removal of previous flooring was terrible. After completion I discovered holes in the drywall in several rooms and the broken marble transition piece which I reported was replaced but with wood (the other bath transition has both the existing marble and the new wood.). And there are gouges and scuff marks on the existing baseboards in all of the rooms they worked in. Get your demolition done through another group. Also the pricing on Facebook ads is not accurate for the flooring they offer. It’s a much thinner material - 7m instead of 20m - and after I paid for 7m product for the price of the advertised 20m the boxes delivered to my home and installed read 4m. Updated in July - business owner offered to repair drywall but would require repainting rooms so I declined.

This whole thing has been a nightmare! It was all We just want to make you happy, and I just want everything done correctly when we started, but now that we have issues with our flooring, and gaps in the floor boards they all of a sudden cant be bothered to deal with us, even though Robert Surface was constantly saying If there are ever any issues just contact me, even if its 5 years down the road we will come fix it. When we do contact them we get the run around, and then Im in an istall, I cant deal with you right now, and then threats of violence. They say they stand behind their craftmanship and company being the best, but this is absolutely not true. The owner acts like your business is just a miniscule amount of money to him, and that it doesnt matter in the grand scheme of his wealth and how incredibly well he is doing financially. The fact that he feels the need to throw that into a conversation when you are just trying to have a job you paid for done correctly, should give anyone that is considering using this company a reason to reconsider and really think about what you are getting in to. I know that nothing is ever their fault and that I couldnt possibly be talking about their company, but I am not mistaken. I know exactly what company I am reviewing and I have receipts and photos of the absolute hell this whole thing has been.
