BUYER BEWARE!! MILITARY BEWARE!! DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE FROM BEACHSIDE RIDE!!Where do I begin? My son is in the military and stationed in Jacksonville and making our family proud every day. 🇺🇸 He married his wife in the summer and needed to purchase an inexpensive and reliable little car for his wife to get to college. Not even a month after owning the car, the tires had to be replaced (my inexperienced son and wife were told they had tons of life left on them). Also, the sunroof leaks when it rains and the gasket needs to be replaced. They found this out with the first rain. The worst part?? Driving on the fast Jacksonville highways is almost impossible because the car instantly overheats and the dash lights come on. My sweet son spent all his cash to pay outright for this car and hasn’t the money to get it fixed. Yesterday morning, yesterday afternoon, yesterday evening, and this morning, I called Beachside Motors on behalf of my son and his wife. After leaving messages to call me, Dominick finally answered and took my call. To say he was rude is an UNDERSTATEMENT. He proceeded to tell me what a good deal that my son got because he “liked my son”. When I referred to the car as “a piece of crap”, he became extremely angry and defensive. He spoke almost the entire time about “what makes a car overheat and this is what can be expected with a car with over 100,000 miles”. None of this was disclosed!! He was extremely agitated and ended the conversation with “have your son call me!”. Then, HUNG UP! Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache of dealing with people who would take advantage of members of our armed forces!! Shame!

I highly recommend beachside for purchasing a vehicle. Excellent service and prices are great. Everyone that works there was really friendly and answered all of my questions. My car is in excellent condition and the best part is that they actually finance at their location. Definitely will be recommending to all of my family and friends.

My finances I just drove two hours away with an appointment set for 1500 to look at one of the vehicles to only be told it was in the shop for maintenance and it will be an hour, so we waited the hr for them to come up with other excuses to not have it there as they are personally driving it for there own convenience

Total bait and switch they list a price on the internet and then give you a different price when you call them on it they stop communicating with you

My husband and I financed a car at this place only to find out that he was illegally not paying the payments to the lender and keeping it himself. The car we got ended up being towed by the original lender because he found out that the owner of beachside ride was working illegally. We ended up re-financing through the original owner and stopping all work with Beachside ride. This was at the beginning of this year in March. I would not recommend doing business with him.

Weve been here twice in the last 2 weeks and nobody answers the phone during business hours and nobody is on the lot. Offices are locked. Left 2 messages, nobody calls back.

Im 17 and i bought my first car from here. I bought a 2007 Dodge Charger. When i left the lot though, the tire blew out on I-95, But Dominic took care of the tire and paid for the new one and the towing to the tire place. He is a honest and cool guy. Dominic and Kevin were very helpful thru out the whole process btw. Only issue with them is that they are a little understaffed, but they always answer your calls so its not that big of a deal. If your thinking about buying a car here, I personally would do it again because i know that they are not trying to scam me out of money. Well thats my thoughts, Thanks Dominic and Kevin again for being apart of the lasting memory of my first car :)

DO NOT PURCHASE VEHICLES FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I purchased a 2011 BMW X5 from Dominic in May 2018 with 95k miles. Prior to purchasing I did a CarFax which seemed to have good history on the vehicle which gave me confidence. His partner an older gentleman kept reassuring at the shop on how good Dominic is at picking cars prior to putting on the lot. At that time, I felt comfortable about making the purchase. The next day when I went to go pick up the vehicle. I had to wait for Dominic to arrive. When I got there, they did not have any keys for the vehicle as he said his porter had them. He had a concert he was going to that day, so he was obviously in a hurry to get out. He even asked if my ride would like to take me to go pick up the keys. This all should of been the red flag for me, but unfortunately wasnt. My ride left back to Orlando so I stayed at the dealership by myself for hours for him to finally get someone to arrive to bring the key so I can take delivery. Once the keys arrived the documents were all signed. Finally I was able to leave back to Orlando with my new vehicle. Once hopping on the freeway to leave. The vehicles warning on dash appeared saying take to BMW dealer. Drive with caution at low speeds. I was able to get back to the Dealer with concerns of the vehicle. Dominic was already gone. The older gentlemen was taking a look at the vehicle. Assured me it was nothing and they were able to get the check engine light off. Me being excited about my new vehicle and being very gullible to the whole situation. I excepted their understanding and drove off with the vehicle. To this day I have only put 5k miles on the vehicle and now have invested over $6000 on the vehicle. Water pump, all coils were rusted out and replace including spark plugs, OEM battery, A/C Compressor literally exploded, radiator reserve tank, shock & strut assembly, alternator drive belt. Now I need to get a valve cover assembly which is another $1300 that I have not been able to afford to get completed. It seems every time I pull it out of the shop. Another issue instantly happens. This is not even counting another Strut assembly I need to get replaced on the left front now. As any little bump hits hard on the left side of the vehicle. I was sold a lemon which I am sure Dominic knew exactly what he was getting me into. For everything to have been corroded in the motor. It seemed like it was a hurricane vehicle or something. Do not buy from this dealership. I gave them a check for $14k for the vehicle. with the investments I have put. I could have gotten a very nice vehicle. This whole situation has financially hurt me and my family. And I would hate for anyone to go through the experience my family has with the trust I thought I had in Dominick and Beachside Ride in Jacksonville. You must reconsider purchasing from this dealer or you can expect to get a vehicle just as unreliable as the one I purchased. And I have all receipts of parts and services completed by a certified auto specialist.

I would have given no stars but it wouldnt let me. If you are looking for a car do not go here. When you go take a mechanic, and if you get a convertible have top looked at. They are fast talkers only looking to get down payment. Have had too friend get cars from there and with in days car started having trouble. If you are online shopping make sure all the extra are in car. They will tell you one thing and switch up. Worst experience with a car lot. Found out they jus going to regular auction and buying cars to flip. Save your money. If anything go the the auction, you will get a better deal.

We have purchased a few work trucks from Beachside Ride and I recently purchased my first car! These guys are so wonderful to work with if you do not have credit or if you have bad credit!They were able to help me with everything quickly and I just had to prove my income. Highly recommended if you are in the market for a used car.

Kevin was very nice & helpful! They are a small car lot but it made for a more personal buying experience. We love our New Mercedes and were able to get Financing through one of their lenders. I did see some bad reviews online that mad us hesitant to check them out but one we were there they have some really nice inventory and then some trade ins lemons that they are selling for very cheap so sometimes I think you get what you pay for with used cars. We definitely would recommend Beachside ride to any of our friends. I felt like they were really honest with us about what cars needed repairs and such.

I think it is time I share my review with everyone so that anyone reading it can save themselves the financial disaster that my family is still trying to recover from 2 years later. This will be a little long because Im going to attach my BBB complaint, but I PROMISE YOU its worth your time to read and then RUN not walk away from this place. You will find my story is a common theme for people in reviews on Beachsides Facebook reviews, Google and Yelp. Yelp has a review that is almost identical to my situation. Also understand after reading my BBB complaint that if you buy a car from this place and it falls to pieces, (and it will), if you submit a claim on their surety bond to try and recover the THOUSANDS of dollars the car is going to suck out of you, ($10,000.00 in repairs in my case), know that you will be denied if you didnt get a good bill of health in writing for your vehicle. YOU ARE SCREWED WITHOUT IT IN WRITING. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU RECOVER YOUR LOSSES AND BEACHSIDE PROUDLY KNOWS THIS. Without further delay my BBB report... On August 14, 2017 I purchased a 2008 Cadillac Escalade ESV Signature Series from Beachside Rides of Jacksonville. Our salesman was Dominic. We were told that this vehicle was road ready and safe and all that it needed was a few spark plugs and the connecting wires changed. Then they proceeded to fix a couple of mounts before I purchased the vehicle, which was a CASH purchase for $13,500. After purchasing the vehicle, I took it to Cadillac to get a tune up and an oil change. Come to find out, it needed way more than a tune up. It actually needed $4,500 worth of work. I took it to A+ garage to get a second opinion, and sure enough they confirmed what Cadillac had to say and then took it a step further, and took me under the truck while it was on the lift to show me the laundry list of problems that needed to be fixed just to make it SAFE to drive. Their words, not mine. We fixed $2,500 of it immediately to make it safe. This was all in the first week of owning it. Then, we have to evacuate from hurricane Irma. The truck proceeded to break down not once, but TWICE during evacuation. Upon inspection, our family mechanic found that our alternator was, as he put it shredded. The battery was also dead. So, out goes another $400. THEN, after all of that is fixed, the diagnostic test is still showing a problem in the transmission. We take it to yet ANOTHER family mechanic, this time a transmission specialist. A sensor in the transmission is bad. Another $1,325 comes out of our wallet!! After we get home from being stranded a few days longer because of this truck, we call Dominic. Hes never there when we call. After MANY, MANY calls we finally get him on the phone, and he is sweet and considerate and says he will speak with the owner Diego about possibly helping with some of the cost of the work we had paid for after only owning the vehicle 4 weeks. A week goes by, no phone call. So we start calling again to no avail. Dominic is never available. Finally, we get in touch with Dominic. The once sweet and understanding gentleman we spoke to before is now gone, and a critical, overbearing typical used car salesman emerges. He started accusing us of lying and then proceeded to assault our intelligence on the particular mechanics we chose to work with. We had to yell in order to even get a word in edge wise with this man! Half of the options in the truck no longer work, even though he bragged about selling us a signature fully loaded vehicle. When we brought this to his attention, he just got nasty and loud with us and said we need never buy used again. That we need to buy new if we want everything to work. I told him I didnt expect it to be perfect since it was an older vehicle, but that I also expected it to be SAFE and not have to dump $4,500 into it in just the first 3 weeks of ownership! I still have $2,500 worth of work that needs to be done to it. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. 2 hours after submitting it to the BBB, my transmission died. Another $5,500!

Purchased an infinity m35 from there about 2 months ago. I have to say one of the most pleasant car buying experiences. was very LOW pressure to buy.not gonna lie, was hesitant at first and almost left but staff is very close and you get the kind of family oriented vibe that you dont get from some of the bigger dealerships. very personable. Very dissatisfied customer, rude owner, does not sell reliable vehicles. Very disorganized business, when I asked for a copy of my paperwork no one seems to be able to provide any information. The business is using a uncertified mechanic who has limited knowledge of foreign vehicles. They will guarantee you theyll fix your vehicle if something happens and a week later when something breaks theyll be like oh well its nothing we can due. Had just purchased a vehicle they assured runs great and for the past month its been sitting on there lot with the windows down a week after I purchased the vehicle. All the owner wants to do is fast talk you into purchasing a lemon and then give you his assistant to kiss. He is very unprofessional I wouldnt recommend them to no one...
