I was looking for a used boat and had been by a few months ago. Told Steve what I was looking for and he called me to let me know he got a 2018 Carolina Skiff J16 in and said he would sell it for a good price (less then the NADA book value). Went by to see the boat and it was a great deal but it was not the center console version I preferred. They had a 2019 close out sale going on and had some good deals going so I looked at a new J16 CC. I made them an offer on the new boat and they accepted my offer. While writing it up Steve said we have a problem. Although the boat was marked as a 2019 it turned out to be a 2020. Steve left to talk to someone and came back in and said they would honor the price we agreed to. The day I was getting my boat another guy was there picking up the 2018 Skiff. Highly recommend these guys. Service dept. was also helpful and answered all my questions and I ask more questions then the average consumer.

I recently took my Suzuki motor that I had purchased elsewhere in for repair. Was told the repair would be covered by warranty and it did not cost me a cent. Took the motor home to test it and it started on the first pull. I am giving 5 stars for a couple of reasons, one I was treated just like a customer that purchased a motor from them, two the repair was explained to me and why the problem happened and finally because Suzuki produced a fix for the problem so it should not happen again and had the part ready (have had issues with other manufacturers not having parts available in a timely matter). I have ordered maintenance parts from Dell in the past and have had a good experience with that also.

Dell Marine was able to take my boat in and get me taken care of in a rush! Ive taken my boat here a handful of times and have always had great service.. this specific time was important because my friend was getting engaged and poping the question on MY BOAT!! Brought the boat in on a Tuesday afternoon because I noticed my hub seal was leaking and needed some emergency work done in order to have my boat back in time for my friends proposal!They promised and followed through. I picked my boat up that next Friday afternoon and Saturday turned into a great day on the water for my friend, his fiance and all of our friends and family.Thank you Dell Marine for making it happen!!

I had the pleasure in dealing with Dell’s Marine in Jacksonville. My contact was Steve for a 24HFC Sea Chaser. We did numerous phone calls and I was ready to pull the trigger. My Sea Chaser dealer 3 miles from my house at the last minute came very close to what Steve had to offer, since I am 5 hours away from Dell’s Marine I reluctantly told Steve I am going to the local dealer….feel bad I pulled out of the deal BUT Steve understood my point of view.My point Steve of Dell’s Marine was professional and courteous, if I were in the area I would no doubt be their client. five stars plus!!aL

I bought a brand new Suzuki 90 Hp motor from Frank less than a year ago. He sold me on the warranty that the motor has but every time Ive brought it in for service the repair hasnt been covered under the warranty. I was having trouble with the motor running hot and I specifically asked Frank was my water pump covered under the warranty, he replied with yes. Three days later I got a call to come pick up my boat. I said was it the water pump, and Frank said yes. So I replied with so how much do I owe. He said 489.00. To make a long story short Frank said that it was the water pump but not a warranty issue. So I said I would have appreciated a call to let me know before you did the work. Frank said well if the invoice doesnt say Estimate the tech go ahead and do the work without calling. And then I asked why would I want an estimate when you told me it was covered under the warranty?? Then replied with he would have me arrested if I didnt pay the bill. I never once said I wouldnt pay the bill I just thought it was unfair to repair something without letting the owner know how much the repair is. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL with Dell Marine Specifically FRANK. Learn from my mistake.

Do not Purchase A Boat From Frank!! I will start by saying I have used Dell marine in the past for service and had no issues. I then bought a motor for my older boat and it was a good experience. A year later We decided to upgrade our boat so obviously we went to Dell marine. We have been saving a long time to be able to purchase a larger offshore boat and we chose the Seachaser 27Hfc at Dells. We went through the process of purchasing the boat and they said they needed to keep it for a week to get the boat ready since it was brand new. That weekend we took family up to Dells dealership to see the boat and it was gone.We found out that Frank took our boat to the boat show as a model all weekend but never told us or asked us. We just paid over $100k for this boat and it was officially ours so that concerned me that he would take it without at least letting us know. Finally a week passed and it was time to pick up our boat. We got there to find out that they installed a little 5 ray marine GPS in the boat. The ray marine came free with all boat purchases, but we told frank we did not want it installed because we were installing 12 Garmins. They cut the hole in the dash in a place that made it difficult to install the gamins later.The next weekend was our first offshore trip in the boat. We were 40 miles offshore when the power steering pump failed. We took the boat back to dells to repair the pump, some loose screws, and a broken hatch. I expect any new boat to have some issues early on but its all warranty so no big deal, Wrong! Frank said it would take 5 days to get back, but it was over 2 weeks. It got to the point that I started fixing minor stuff myself because I knew it would take weeks to get back. I recently took the boat in to look at the trim tabs, salt water wash down, and fresh water wash down because they all quit working. Frank and his boss both told us that they werent going to fix it under warranty. I asked why and he said that they didnt work because of the Garmins we installed 1 month earlier. The trim tabs just stopped working. Frank is a flat out a liar and a crook. He will look you straight in the eye and lie, and he always finds a way to blame the customer so that he doesnt have to repair things under warranty. I made a huge mistake purchasing a boat from frank.

I called Dell marine to have my power steering checked, had two services there before that went well. I explain to the lady at the desk whats wrong when I dropped the boat expecting maybe the tech or shop manager to call to further explain my power steering issue. Next call I get is from the desk saying boat is done nothing was wrong, I tell them 100% something is wrong and my power steering is very tight at certain times, she says to talk to the service manager Frank when I get there he was busy and couldnt call that day. When I get there to talk to someone 5/12 at 8:15 am I am told he doesnt get there till 9. The desk women was very help full and apologized but said the tech is paid by the job and he was very busy and didnt have time to assist or hear my questions about my power steering. At this point Im angry, I asked her to have Frank call me which he never did, I put my boat in the water later that day just to have stiff power steering and a boat I can barely turn not fun at all. When I call Frank he lied about several details of my experience and said its a newer boat I should have taken it back to the north Florida yatch Sales who it was purchased from new and complained. I will never spend a penny at Dell marine again. Just a pointer listening to someones problem is the first step to service.
