My wife and I have purchased 2 bicycles there this past year, and they steered us in the right direction with assistance, but not upselling or trying to add on things we didnt want. I went to Lakeshore Bicycles to find a more comfortable saddle for my walking aid bike. Im sorry I didnt get the mans name that helped me, because he was extremely nice. I tried different saddles on some of the bike there and it was difficult, because I am disabled. He was kind enough to help me off one of the bikes I got stuck on. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I love the saddle.

The customer service was great from the minute that I entered the store. Everything was explained to me that needed to be done. I even got to watch the repair as it was being done. The staff was very friendly and courteous. It had started raining as I was getting ready to exit the shop and the gentleman that repaired my bike immediately came over and took my bike to my vehicle so that I would not have to struggle with it in the rain. Every once in a while, you come across a business that both delights and surprises you… This is one of those places!We have been researching Aventon electric bikes for some time, and learned that Lakeshore was a servicing dealer for the brand. Well, not only are they a servicing dealer, but they have the bikes there, in the store, fully assembled, for just about the same price as we saw online.That was a surprise. But when you add to that the amazing, caring salesperson, owner, and even the shop technicians, now your talking about a real gem. We ended up buying the two eBikes of our dreams, at the price we wanted, THEY assembled them on the spot, and we were treated like royalty.It doesn’t get any better than this; strongly recommended!

I was about to buy an e bike. Until I met Mark the sales rep. He made me feel uncomfortable. I can feel some type of tension in the air. So I left an bought an e bike somewhere else. An they welcome me with no tension in the air 🤷🏾‍♂️.

I really like being able to watch the mechanic (Jack) and talk with him as he resolves problems and fixes my trike. I learn more about my trike and how to take care of it. Very user friendly--a huge plus as far as I am concerned.Also, I am very impressed with Jacks knowledge and experience.

So to start off I would like to say Thanks to some of the best people at this shop Don in sales and Jack and Adrian in service. My experience was above a 5 star rating. Being new to the sport and really offering nothing to help them find the right bike for me time after time they were there to answer all of my questions. After leaving I was able to be confident that I was on the right bike for what I was going to be riding. So whether youre new to the sport or have been riding for years, which I hope to be, I would defiantly stop by this shop and let them show you what true customer service is like.

Brought a motobacain in was talked into the #2service they say they will do this and that but dont. I ended up spending 400 dollars for 2 tires and tubes a derailer very unhappy how they treat you . I seen disappointment on other customers .

Friendly staff and great service. They seem to have parts that most that other shops dont but the thing I like best is you can schedule a service. You can drop off your bike in the morning and pick it up the same day. Leaving my bike somewhere for 3 days to a week doesnt work for me. Thanks guys!

Had my ebike controller replaced. They did an excellent and timely repair. Highly recommend them for repair for any ebike even if you did not buy from their store.

Extremely helpful, integrity was outstanding! They had just raised their prices and had forgotten about the website. I had seen the website and hadnt realized the price change. They were apologetic and honored the lower price on their website. They also were quite understaffed due to covid. That didnt stop them from getting my bike completed several days ahead of what they had quoted me! Extremely hard workers!

Great experience. Looked for a new bike for my rapidly growing daughter in these times of lean bicycle inventories. Very attentive sales assistance without excess pressure. Helped properly size a trial bike and were very patient as she made several trips in for test rides. She’s been on it for a few weeks now and loves it.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Cathy answered all my questions and was nice enough to let me know what type of bike works for her and why, but also encouraged me to try out the two different bikes I liked in the parking lot so that I could take my time and narrow it down to a bicycle that I think I’ll enjoy for a long time. I picked out a water bottle cage for my new ride, and was happy to see that they already had it installed by the time I was done paying for my new purchase. Very pleased with my customer service experience and feel like I got a stylish, quality piece of equipment.

I wanted to get a MTB for the last few months. I reached out to my nephew, who highly recommend LSB. I wanted a Marlin 7 L. Due to the availability of Trek bikes, it took a while. I did do my due diligence and checked out another shop in town. My thought was because that other shop was bigger with more stores, they’d get more bikes in quicker. However, when I went to that shop, I never felt like a customer- I felt more like an inconvenience. Nevertheless, I ordered with them. There was never any communication with them and I waited in limbo. True to your word, as soon as you got in a Marlin 7, you said you would call- and did. I was an XL, but I figured I could at least try it. I got to the shop and the builder was finishing up the XL. In the meantime, there was a M/L on the floor. Finally, while there wasn’t a 7 L, there was a 6 and the salesperson quickly put it together specifically so I could fit it. In the end, I went with the M/L and couldn’t be happier. Well, I could- but that is only because I wanted my free t-shirt with purchase to be a 2XL versus an XL. That’s the only complaint. As I hung out, I watched how your staff treated other customers coming in. They were friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about their job. It’s not every day that I drop $1,000 at a store, but you have won my business and will get accessory purchases from me and well as my recommendations. Thanks!

Everyone was knowledgeable, very friendly, and provided great service. Lakeshore Bicycles was the one shop in town who actually had a great selection of top quality women’s bikes.While the sales person cashed us out, the assembly team did a final check on our bikes; tightening bolts, handlebars, and adding air to the tires. It was great to be able to see and touch the bike instead of guessing with an online purchase.By the way, I actually purchased not only the women’s bike for myself but decided to buy a men’s bike as well for my husband for Father’s Day.

Specialized stores for hobbies can come across as judgmental -- Oh, you want THAT kind of bike? Guess youre okay with getting yourself killed. -- but these folks are very knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and friendly. I found a bike Id already researched and they sold it to me without any upselling. Plus they foster a strong sense of community, which is great!

Service was quick and the price was reasonable. The young woman at the register was friendly and helped me figure out exactly what service I needed for my bike. My only complaint is they play some real weird music. I get it that bike shops are supposed to be quirky, but Baby Shark was driving me nuts while I was trying to talk about bike stuff.
