I go there because of convenience- its a smaller store. The lady that works there is really nice. The guy- not so much. Hes pretty rude and really shouldnt work up front with customers.

The place looks pretty decent. The Asian man there was a rude when I asked him for hair closure. Its understandable not to want to sell hair closure only but saying it with an attitude like we fighting before. The place is quite close to me but not sure I will be going here anyways to buy my hair products.

Very nice people get all the hair products that you can think of and dye your hair and look wonderfully weird and straight and they have wigs and hair clippers

O love. This place inspires me to try new things because the prices are great and all the girls who work here are so sweet.Last time I needed to find a new dry shampoo and the girl who assisted me told me what they had and then walked me over to it. She was busy putting out merchandise and she could have just told me what aisle it was in but seemed to just have a truly helpful attitude. I love shopping here.

The prices are creeping up but they do have a nice layout of barber products.

Went in to Purchase wet & wavy hair, which I get all the time. I stepped away from counter to get hair spray that I forgot but the cashier already had my credit card, she added the spray on to the total & charged my card. Afterwards she put receipt in the bag. I got in car and looked at receipt thinking she over charged me for the hair. I went back inside to let her know she over charged me and she said the hair was $150 I remind you this not my first time getting this hair & I never paid that much & she kept say it’s $150...they didn’t have product price tag on any of the packages nor similar to the one I had. We all know the hair stores key in the amount of each product which I wasn’t at counter for when she did it. Who’s to say they didn’t just make up a price since the products wasn’t marked with a price tag?! I asked for the owner/manager name so I can take legal action according to FL LAW. The cashier said she doesn’t have to give me any names because I’m a threat. Wait what? I asked nicely so I could leave the store.They wouldn’t give me any names & They ended up calling the police on me & they were even getting rude with the officer saying we both need to step outside and finish handling the situation. They wouldn’t even give the officer the owners name, they told him “I’m not about to do your job for you.” They are very shady at this hair store & don’t care about paying customers. I know I can get the hair for 59 bucks elsewhere & they didn’t like that. I wouldn’t even spend my hard earn money here if I were you because they don’t give Af about us paying customers! They also lied to officers saying they’re not excepting returns due to COVID-19. I remind you I never ever left the store. The officer informed me on what action to take & said he couldn’t do anything legal but what they are doing is scandalous and they’re taking advantage of ppl during COVID-19.

Great wig came from here! Prices on hair product is at least $1-$3 higher than Target or Walmart. The staff is great and I havent experienced any issues with racism. The woman is extremely kind and goes above and beyond to be helpful. Give them a visit! Ive been here 5x with no problems.

I do not recommend this store for your beaut needs. I purchased the wrong brand of hair, went to my car and Noticed it was the wrong brand, went back in the store for the exchange. They did exchange it but there was a $5.00 credit. I was asked to buy something. I said I would just like the credit back on my credit card.They said no credit.So I told them to keep the 5.00. And they did with no problem.The sign is not in a visible spot so the consumer is aware of the store policy.The owners are willing to lose customers at any cost is my opinion. Consumers be aware of this establishment.

Cute store, so much cleaner than other beauty supply stores that have boxes on the ground of hair. Im a stylist and I find that their selection is great, the store is well organized, and with reasonable prices. The owners are nice and helpful if you ask them for assistance. They have a good selection of wigs and weave, make up, accessories, and cute trendy jewelry!I dont know what the person commenting before me is saying, it doesnt even make sense. They have a beauty supply store that caters to colored women, how could you say that theyre racist? That doesnt even make any sense. As I see it, if you act suspicious, any store owner is going to catch on to that, and that goes for any of these beauty supply stores, not just this one.

I am a new user to hair extensions and the owner recommended a glue to prevent breakage on the ends of the hair. I said sure and she gave me the wrong color I just purchased it and as I was walking out the store realized it was black. I kindly asked if they had a clear and she said no I asked for a refund bc I couldn’t have used it and was denied not only that was called many names and slurs. Neveerrr come here.

I would give them a 0 if possible. I used to frequent here almost every other day. I moved and came back to Jax. Before I moved.. The owners would run their own store with the son. However theyve hired HELP. The first time I came in here to see the new girl she followed me around while I was on the phone. I stopped and she almost ran in the back of me. She asked me did I need her help 2x within 5 minutes. (The owners and son knows that Im the type of shopper that just doesnt come in store for 1 thing. I might have that intention. Then I end up spending so much money. Cause I grab whatever I see.) So I tell her no AGAIN. So now Im ready to pay for my stuff. I go to the wife (owner) and say I think the new girl you hired thinks Im a thief and I dont like that because you guys know me and no Im not like that. She says no... I dont... Before the owner could finish her sentence the new girl jumped up talking ratchet and trying to get attitudes in the store and talking crazy. The other patrons saw this and said for you to shop here is crazy. They are known for this on this side of town. I walked back into this beauty supply every now and again and the girl is always getting into it with someone in the store. ALWAYS. shes not knowledgeable of the products. She is Mexican trying to tell black people what products to use for their hair.

The many different options of makeup and hair makes this store MY go-to store. I no longer have to drive a long distances to get the things my children and I need. YAY! Very ORGANIZED and clean. The only problem I have is their store hours. I would like them to be opened earlier and closed later.. :( *tear*

This store is already overpriced, however the location is convenient so I choose to shop there. Unfortunately I am dissatisfied with a wig that Ipurchased yesterday and they refuse to exchange it. I have the receipt, bag etc. I would have even purchased a higher priced wig as long as I could do an exchange. I did not want any money back from them at all. Now Im stuck with an ugly wig and Im out of money.

This is the most racist place for us Afro-American women to shop at. The guy in there is very rude and impatient. Because I kept asking to see other wig colors and selections he got so frustrated and flat out called me the N word. Please boycott this establishment and not tolerate this type of respect. I work hard for my money and I refuse to subject myself to this type of treatment.

So every time I go in there they stare me down like Im going to steal something. Im an honest person I dont appreciate being watched down when Im just shopping...the male worker makes me very uncomfortable. I inquired about their Now hiring sign the male worker again told me no and didnt give me a reason. He says you have to have experience working in beauty supply stores. Thats hilarious I have over 5 years customer service an am currently a receptionist. He didnt want to take any resume he merely judged me on a face- whether I could be a potential employer or not... I Refuse to spend anymore money there. I was very professional with the male worker.

Only giving 2 stars because they do have a larger selection. However , I dont recommend this place unless you really need to go. I visit this beauty supply seldomly because it is convenient in my community but I will not give them my service any more because the young man that normally works their didnt ask me if I needed help while I was trying to find a hair product for my child hair and a few hair bows for school. I was in there for about 2 minutes Instead he followed me and stared at me as if I was going steal something. I turned around and I asked him do they sale crochet hair... He showed me what they had...But I decided to grab some hair jam, paid for it and exit. If it wasnt for the 5 o clock traffic i wouldve went elsewhere but i didnt even get all that i needed. That is not how customers suppose to be treated but I will continue to go to beauty depot and coco beauty because they always willing to help their customers at all times. Maybe they have alot of people who steal there but Im not the one!
