Its my go to bait shop. Friendly staff that are very knowledgeable about the area fishing. Bought a new rod and reel, and prices were no different than another place, but you get that local knowledge to have it rigged right. I appreciate what they do and will continue to support them. They helped my son and his Pop Pop make memories this Memorial Day weekend.

I have recently move here from Charleston SC. I have been looking to find a place that’s really all about fishing like I am! Love everything they have there .. do they rent space that we could leave our boat there and pick it up on my way the water. I have been using this place for years it is family owned and operated and has everything you need for a day fishing. The staff is always friendly and quick to give tips as to what and where to find the fish Russell the owners son is personable and has a servant spirit he wants to make sure you have what you need. Courtney is all around helper and a pleasant happy employee. And how can I forget grandmas egg salad sandwiches? This place is awesome. The staff is nice, the tackle selection is decent, and the bait is always top tier. You can tell the staff takes the management of the live bait very seriously. I never have issues with shrimp not being healthy. I drive a little bit out of the way every time I fish just to go here.

This is my favorite tackle shop although I do find it to be on the expensive side compared to other shops, and there artificial lures seem a little limited, the customer service keeps me coming back though.

Ive been using this bait shop for several years now and I always enjoy the short visit before I head to the fishing whole. The bait is always fresh. Ive been to several bait shops in Jacksonville and not been impressed. I recommend B&M %100. Ive actually driven 40 minutes out of my way to get mud minnows and say Hi to John at b&m lol. If I can, and its possible, Im going to b&m every time.

Service was/is superb. I believe all the folks there are also retired military...I salute them! My only issue...NO ONE wears a mask! And I know I can make a choice and bring my business elsewhere. Not the point here...good folks, great service, just wear the mask.

My son-in-law was to get some bait so he could go fishing at my dock. Since we had driven to the area to eat we stopped by. I did not go inside but my daughter did and she stayed the girl behind the counter is rude as all get out. Quote unquote. My son-inlaw was happy with the shiners but didnt catch anything. Time fishing and not catching anything is still better then not fishing

Probably the best bait shop in Jacksonville, their dead shrimp is very big and seems fresh every time and they dont fight and beat you up for every shrimp like some bait shops do, theyre nice and helpful; if you buy a dozen shrimp sometimes theyll throw in a few. just an overall a good experience every time I come here. And prices are fair or better

Prices for live bait are great by my experience. Tackle is a little steep but gotta pay the rent... they have deals often as well as their own stuff. Opens early and there could be quite the line so park off to the side so you can get out easy.
