Great place and will always take my car here. I took it there assuming I had a wheel bearing out. Chad called me back and told me it was just a cover rattling around. They easily could have told me more was wrong to make money and they didn’t. They are very honest people and have great prices on tires!!!

I write this as someone who has decent knowledge of cars and how they work/how to fix them. I’m extremely weary of getting work done anywhere because 9 out of 10 places will screw you over. But they listened to what I needed done and did not upsell me at all. They even gave me a run down on the condition of my car for no extra cost!! I was going to change my own oil to find out that a place I went to in Florida while working down there stripped my drain bolt, NTB on 24 wanted $150-$200 to get it done (new bolt, oil changed with my own oil and filter) and Patriot got it done in a few hours for only $55!They don’t upcharge you because you’re stuck in a rut they just do honest great work!This will be the only place I take my vehicle for the rest of the time I’ll be living in Jacksonville. Support your local business!

Patriot automotive was extremely helpful and wasn’t pushy at all like some auto shops. They ordered the wrong part for my car which was frustrating as I was supposed to leave town on terminal leave the following day. Although it was a minor setback when they got the correct part in they did phenomenal work and made me a very helpful list of maintenance that should be done shortly. Reasonably priced, honest, and friendly service. I would recommend to anyone in the Jacksonville area.

Had these guys install the exhaust on my truck and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Non-pushy atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Friendliest folks in the business! They finished my truck in the time that they said it would take, even though the lot was full of other vehicles to be done. They even stayed a little late after closing just so I could come pick it up! Kept me up to date throughout the day and did exactly what I asked. Professional work done in a timely manor!Just like many others around here, im very skeptical of automotive shops in Jacksonville. Now I know I have a go-to shop that’s close to home! These guys are great! Was referred to them by a friend on base and decided to ry them out. Normally i try to do as much of the work as I can on my vehicle. Somethings are just beyond my scope of knowledge. They were upfront on cost, and called multiple times just to update the progress of my repair. You just cant go wrong here. They even let me know things that were going to need fixed in the future, regardless of whether i do the repairs myself or bringing it in to them! Support these guys, they did great and are super veteran friendly!

Came here to get an inspection after another highly recommend and very popular place tried to over charge.This place only charged me the normal price with nothing else tacked on. My headlights definitely did need to be adjusted a 2nd year in a row!Staff was quick and friendly!Clean inside and out!Hours are convenient!Highly recommend Patriot Automotive over many others!

Chad and his team over at Patriot are absolutely fantastic! Always more than helpful when I call and take my truck in. If something needs to be done they explain to the “T” on how they’re gunna do it and whats the best options for you and your vehicle. When that time comes to do a repair, Chad always tries and gets you the best pricing possible. Their courtesy checks are Incredibly thorough and leave nothing unnoticed. Until I leave NC, I will be taking my truck to Patriot Auto.

The best thing about this place is that I TRUST them. I have been here plenty of times. Ray is such a gifted mechanic. The work is always done to perfection. The service manager is so nice. The waiting area is super comfortable. I have been to too many places out in town that tried to talk me into services that I didnt need. Patriot Auto wont do that. Please, give them a shot :)

Today I had an appointment at Patriot for a state inspection. It was my first time using their services. I was very impressed by every detail related to my visit. The waiting/ reception area is very comfortable and inviting. It includes a small play area for children, comfortable chairs, complimentary K-cup coffee as well as 8 oz. cold sodas and a water cooler.Jennefer, the office manager, is very friendly and efficient. Chad, the owner, is also very personable and friendly, and competent having grown up in the family business.My appointment was for 3:30 and I was out of there by 4:00.pm. I definitely pkan to use their services in the future.

Ive taken all my vehicles to Patriot since it opened (and a little before actually!). The folk there are nice and Ive never had any negative issues. In fact Ray saved me from buying a used car (twice) - he found several issues that the owner didnt disclose and I didnt notice! All in all - this is the place that I take my familys vehicles to get fixed. I trust them.

I went to Patriot after having a ridiculous wait time at another auto shop. I was so impressed because as soon as I walked in, the whole atmosphere was different. It was clean and professional. Once I had my car diagnosed, they made a list for me. They even listed it in order of importance.I shopped around to see if I could get a better deal, and all four places I went wated to charge at LEAST $100 more. The people were nice, the service was inexpensive, and it was all very speedy.10/10 would recommend.

Patriot Automotives excellent customer service is what really keeps me coming back. When I went to have my air conditioning fixed in my Honda while my husband was deployed, I was guarded and skeptical. I knew car shops had a reputation for screwing over women, abusing their ignorance of car maintenance. Instead, I was greeted with tons of reassuring answers that made me feel comfortable, even without my husband. The family that manages Patriot even gifted me a beautiful aloe plant from their home to help cure me of my sunburn. In the end, Patriot Automotive went above and beyond in fixing my car in a timely, kind, professional, and trustworthy fashion. My only complaint is that some things can get a little expensive, but I believe its the price you pay for quality.

Been going to them for 4 years with 3 different vehicles. One in which we have had A LOT of issues with that was hard for any mechanic to diagnose. I have never been to a more honest place. The head mechanic has changed during this time and proved to be just as good as the first. This place is a blessing when youre away from home and use to your dad being your mechanic! lol

I wont take my truck anywhere else! Great customer service!! Had taken my truck to other places for a 2w 4w problem. They figured out the problem and got it fixed. They also checked over my truck and let me know what was needed and didnt push anything on me that I didnt need.

Chad and his wife are by far the nicest people Ive had to deal with. Ran into an absolute mess with my jeep, and they took care of it, immediatly. Chad took extremely good care of everything. He quoted me at one price, and helped me find the same parts, for even cheaper. He saved me a few hundred, easily. He went out of his way to contact me the days following to make sure I had his personal number, and to make sure my jeep was still running off without any issues.His wife has made payments, and understanding them as painless (for me) as possible. Always good at making sure when I go in for a payment, that I can leave in a timely manner.They both go out of their way to make you feel like family, and to ask about yours.I absolutely reccomend this place to anyone and everyone for any reason.

I absolutely loved my experience at Patriot Automotive!The Staff are friendly and sociable and, while it is a business and money must be made, they genuinely care and try their best to save you money, however they can.I came in with broken window mechanics and they within less than 24 hours they diagnosed the problem and called me back with an estimate. I informed them of my budget, and unfortunately they were unable to help me for the price I had in mind. They proceeded to do a courtesy check and helped me to understand each problem individually on their list. They never asked me to fix any of it that day and they simply informed of what was wrong, and how I could essentially avoid having to cash out to fix it right away.I felt more like I was getting a friend to check my car out than a business. Did I mention that they charged me absolutely nothing for their time or efforts?!Absolutely the best mechanics shop Ive ever been to, the only time Ive gotten even similar service, is from my fiances father 😂

I took my car here for AC repair and emergency brake repair. They diagnose my ac, took a week. I got it back and only passenger side worked. They charged me for another part, I get it back and it suits wiring a mile down the road. I take it back again and they have to replace a wire and the valve they just fixed, it took over a month. Now, the emergency brake... They replaced a part, I had to take it to another dealership and have them program it, that didnt fix it. They took it back for about a week and still couldnt fix it. Had to take it to Lincoln dealership almost an hour away Im New Bern.

Great place to take your vehicle.

This place is a joke, I brought my car in to get the ERG system cleaned. They instead ran diagnostic machine on the car to find more problems. I knew the process was going to go into two days so i brought the car in the night before. They didnt even do what i asked them to do. So basically I got ripped off nearly a 100 dollars for something I didnt want, nor did I ask for. Find somebody else to get your car fixed.

High prices for service..no partial pmts for expensive repairs.

Went in for a tire repair and had them balance and rotate the remaining three. Left side rear had significant vibrations afterwards. The mechanic did say it took a lot of weight. After getting it home and driving for a few days I looked at how much weight was put on, over 5 ounces and different types. My wife brought it back the following Monday and they told her it might need bearings and was told they took for a test drive when in FACT THEY JUST PULLED IT INTO YHE BAY. If the tire had issues such as a BELT SEPARATION why wasn’t I told on the day I brought it in?!!!!! I will never go back to this place again AND FEMALES BEWSRE. I don’t normally post things like this BUT THEY WHERE JUST PLAN WRONG!!!!!!!
