I live up the road from them, I was changing my own idler pulley and rounded off a bolt using a 12 point. After not being able to find a 6 point at any store around, I walked to this shop and asked if I could by any chance borrow a 6 point. This man let me borrow the 6 point and finish my job. A complete life saver, A+ stand up man (Rodney). I need a trans flush and a motor mount replaced soon and will absolutely take it to him to get it done. The character of this man is outstanding!

What a hidden gem!!! My husband would take all the work vehicles & his truck to these guys. I swear under my breathe at him for letting me go to the dealership 3yrs ( to get ripped off ), for my car maintenance. His response to me asking him why he never referred them to me was... you never asked. Was researching around for a shop to help fix my undoing (rounded a bolt for changing my rear brakes, thus stuck with a dime size left of brakes) and came across Norman Bros Auto Repair, reading the reviews was only seeing good things about them so gave it a shot. Not only did they help take out the rounded bolt (probably had to cut out the bolt), they were able to order and replace same day as well since might as well as I was there; flushed out/replaced fluids (diff, trans, oil, oil filter, clutch/brake), all for a great/fair price too. Oh and able to bring your own fluids and parts was a big plus versus other shops not allowing. Would come here for future jobs that I may not be able to handle. Big thank you!

Norman Brothers has a 5 star rating for good reason. I brought my 02 Odyssey in because the van had been leaking power steering fluid. They put it up on the rack and ran it for quite a while looking for the leak. When I picked the van up, there was no charge. They even gave me great tip on how to save on a new part I needed.

These guys came highly recommended and I see why. My alternator completely died on me right as I made it to their shop. They told me they were booked solid, but could work me in between work orders. That is a HUGE impression on a new customer. Its safe to say Ill be using them in the future, and recommending them.

Very easy and fair mechanics to deal with. They fixed our power steering leak problem. No issues after.

Werent able to fix electrical problem, had to take it to specialist, however, they did fix another problem for me while they had it and didnt charge me a dime. Most places still make you pay for diagnostics whether they fix it or not, very honest and respectable people.

Was quoted $850 from the dealership to replace front and rear brakes and a valve cover gasket. Ramon replaced my brakes and checked the gasket to discover there isn’t a leak. $200 later, and I’m very satisfied with their honesty and quickness in getting my car in and out. I will return should I need any more service completed. Highly recommend.

I had previously gone to a dealership because my check engine light was on and displayed a code that my camshafts were misfiring, was quoted $1,500+ by the dealership. I then went here and they found my car was low on oil which causes the same error code to pop up and topped me off on oil and didnt charge me anything.This is the place you should be using for car repairs if you live anywhere in the Jacksonville area.

I read reviews on these guys and decided to get a second opinion on what a National chain proposed as a repair to the problem I was having with my truck. It was a very specific, but odd problem. Raymond and Ryan listened to me about the problem without just throwing parts and labor at it until it was resolved. Day 1 they said they couldnt duplicate problem and for me to bring it back whenever it occurred again. I recreated the problem that afternoon and brought it back and again they dove in to find resolution. No luck. I scheduled to bring it back in 2 days. Day2 I duplicated the problem again and brought it back. They ran every test and diagnostic they could, knew I had a problem but still could not determine the specific issue. Rather than throw parts and labor at it, they suggested I go to the dealer, since diagnostic tools would be vehicle specific. Although they couldnt fix my problem, they didnt charge me a dime and were able to narrow it down enough for me to provide useful information to dealer. It was not their fault, they couldnt figure it out as it is a very unique problem (fuel / emissions related). 100% honest, they listen, they do not just throw parts at the problem to see if it works. Will absolutely deal with them in the future on any other issue with my familys vehicles. Great service and nice guys that armed me with a ton of information to keep my dealer in check. I called Normans because of a broken motor for my window. After being left on hold for a long time with another nearby mechanic, I decided to call Normans based on their great reviews. Raymond answered right away and made sure to take care of me and my vehicle. They were extremely flexible, informative, prompt, did amazing work and the price was more than reasonable. Honest Mechanic and Amazing customer service. I took my Car to Break 4 less, They said my car needs two front break pads, Rotor and Caliper. Break 4 less quoted me over $500. They insisted that I need to do it as soon as possible. I decided to shop around , I called several mechanic shops, they all quoted me between $400 to $500. I found Norman Bros through a friend referral. I called Norman Bros and they quoted me $320. Since they gave me a better quote I scheduled an appointment with them.I was greeted very politely as I left my car at their shop. It took less than 2 hours , when I went to pick up the car, the gentleman told me that the calipers are fine and I do not need to change them. I paid a lot less than I expected. I did appreciate their honesty. Any mechanic would have charged more.I recommend them 100% and I will go back to them for any other car problem. When you move to a new area there are three things you need to find: the closest Dunkin Donuts, the best pizza place and a great mechanic. The first two were easy and, when my truck started making a weird noise I needed to find the third. My husband did a Google search and found Norman Brothers. They fixed my car today: promptly, courteously and economically. Being a cynical former New Yorker I usually engage with a mechanic assuming Im going to get ripped off and treated poorly. If my experience today at Norman Brothers was any indication of how they fix cars and treat their customers, then I have found my mechanic.
