I brought my van to Liberty to get an unbiased 2nd opinion on a diagnosis received from a dealer outside of Jacksonville. I was told by said dealer that I needed a new transmission and other work totaling to about $7400 and they said it wasnt safe to drive because of the amount of rust underneath and everything was ready to fall out. My van was driven in Pennsylvania for 5 winters with harsh salt on the roads so the amount of rust is normal given my circumstances. Not only did Liberty not mention the rust being an issue, they accurately diagnosed and fixed my issue which was less than 10% of the original quoted price of repair and she runs like a dream again even with almost 183k miles. We used Liberty when we lived in the area years ago, but we no longer live in Jacksonville. However, we will make the drive from now on so we know we are getting a good and honest shop to make sure our vehicles are good to go.

Matt, one of the mechanics is the absolute best. Honest and reliable!

They will only do small jobs, sell tires, replace pads. They will not help you out if you drive in later than 9am. They are a quick fix shop and replace your tires and thats it! Pretty sad. If you want tires go to Discount Tire.

That likely equates to 75+ visits for multiple cars, countless inspections, oil changes,Tire rotations, new tires and routine preventive and corrective maintenance. They have always provided honest assessments, quality and timely service. Honest, hard-working and clean small business. I strongly recommend them.

I was a walk in with four tires needing to be mounted and balanced on my sons truck. Gentleman at the counter told me it was a busy day but he could put me into the line up. I agreed and he went through the series of questions. White letters out, balance weights on inside and lug locks removed. I gave the keys and had wife picked me up. Two hours later I got the call. Went to pick up and everything was perfect. Great service and great prices. Oh and the advice of the tire sizes was exactly what we wanted in look and ride height.- Thank you and this is exactly what my son wanted the old truck to look like.

Bought a mid range set of firestones here, enjoyed my experience but I was told I had a warranty included for free air/patch/ rotation for the like of the tire and 1 week after buying them I had a nail in one of them, brung it up and they had over a 3 hour wait just to check my tire, then wanted 30$ to patch it so I said the heck with it drove it home to plug it myself and about a year later had a fire going down they aim its the tire I plugged and then told me that my warranty was voided because of it, my Outlook is if I wouldve gotten the warranty I was promised then they wouldve fixed it at no charge to begin with and I would still have a warranty, Ive contemplated buying Michelins and leaving these tires at their door but I guess Ill give the benefit of the doubt and leave them 3 stars , the guys are pretty nice here atleast

Update 8/8/2020 :I spoke to Eddie who took care of the situation and was more than fair. We really didnt want anything special, just simply if we were supposed to be offered something then we wanted to be given the choice whether to purchase it or not as we should have originally. We appreciate the courtesy we received and know mistakes happen and we appreciate when an attempt is made to rectify the mistake which Liberty Tire did assuredly.___Last week my fiance purchased 4 brand new tires from salesman Keith. This week were back repairing 2 tires for punctures. She believed there was a warranty but was explained the warranty is for tread wear not punctures as that has its own road hazard package that was not offered at the time she purchased tires. When asking Keith, he said it must be purchased at the time of sale of the tires. We stated that she was not offered this package last week, again in which he was her salesman, he simply shrugged and reiterated it must be purchased with the tires.We had good dealings with the other individuals at Liberty Tire however Keith not willing to work with a customer over his error is resulting in this 1-star review as his lack of integrity has assured no further business from us.

I called yesterday and Keith was so nice and patient answering all my questions. I went right in and got a new set of tires put on and an alignment at a GREAT price. I enjoyed conversation with Keith and Jr.. They definitely have a new customer here! Highly recommended!

We have been going there for all our automotive needs for 20 years. The people are always nice and will not try to sell you something you dont need. Work is always straight up with you. Would give them 10 stars if I could.

This wont be the cheapest place, but not the most expensive either. Service is friendly, and the employees recognize your face after a short time. The $$ is definitely worth the small town atmosphere. Also, theyve never forgotten to put bolts back into scrape plates, etc. Job is always well done. I would recommend to anyone.

Bought two tires there for 62.50 mount and balance included. Very good tires and recently bought two tires for same axle at Chico tires that were used and because they were 70 series they charged me 70 dollars a piece. ( Ripped me off) One had busted belt and one had a bad plug. I highly recommend Liberty Tire for price and quick service.

I needed four tires because mine were totally bald. The got me the tires at an expected pricing that is fair and great quality. They did recommend some other work for my car that I am saving up for at this time and will return for them to do the needed repairs. I value the honest opinion provided about the needed repairs. The staff was courteous and very attentive. I was in the market for a set of tires and after some extensive online shopping and calling around to different shops I found Liberty Tire. Their prices are unbeatable and they were able to order and get the tires in within 24 hours and set me up with an appointment that same day. I got all four tires set, balanced, and aligned for under a grand and was offered free balance and rotation for the life of the tires.

Been buying tires and getting car service for years. Best place in Jacksonville. Wife and I were once on the way to New England the next morning when we wrecked a tire with a screwdriver on the road. They helped out at the last minute with a great attitude. Good guys. Highly recommended.

I have been taking my car is here for service for the last 12 years. The guys who work here are knowledgeable quick and friendly. I even had an instance where there were vandalisms in my neighborhood and my tires got slashed shortly after purchasing some from them and they worked with me to be able to afford a new set. Theres definitely something to be said for keeping your business friendly and local!

Cheapest tires with best warranties! I just bought a pair of tires a few months ago and I accidentally ran over a nail and forgot I didnt get the road hazard protection plan. They fixed my tire that day no questions asked for free!!! Highly recommend them!!! Will always do my business with Firestone as long as I live in Jacksonville NC.

Very rude gentleman, please know your vehicles before entering in this business. Ive been going to Firestone for years in different states and this location by far is the only bad experience. I understand one person does not reflect the whole establishment or other workers but dont insult me if you cant do your job. Very disappointed.

This place is always busy because how great their customer service is and their prices. They take care of their customers and thoroughly explain if something could be potentially unsafe. Will continue to keep coming back.

After being quoted $797 to replace a fuel pump on Jeep Wrangler TJ, they called me after breaking off a couple hitch bolts and said that they were no longer interested in the job. So I had paid to tow it in and had to pay to tow it out of there in worse shape than I brought it in. Thanks Fierstone/Liberty Tire!Update: I paid $205 for a fuel pump assembly at AutoZone and was able to fix it in my driveway(Im not even a mechanic). Thanks again to the guys at Firestone.P.S. You forgot to hook my intake tube back on, but I did that too! They might be good at tires, but I recommend going elsewhere if you need a mechanic.

Staff was very rude, told me changing my tires would take an hour and a half but ended up waiting 3 hours and my car had not moved from when I parked it, went to inquire how long until it would be and was told that they would not tell me an estimate for when it would be done, very bad and rude staff, and I ended up being 4 hours late to work because of this. Do not go here.
