AMAZING FILET MIGNON!I had a large feast coming up one day, so I set out to find a halal place near me.When I stopped by APNA, I was greeted by Faisal who is the owner of multiple grocery stores of the same name all over Florida. He impressed me with his knowledge of various steak cuts - something that I am not used to in halal stores because they mostly stick to beef cuts that are either good for stew or biryani.I told Faisal what type of feast I wanted to prepare. He promptly went to the back of the freezer to get me one of the best filet mignon I have ever seen. It looked exceedingly fresh, but I was hesitant to make a final judgment until I grilled it.Final verdict: Perfection.I have since gone back to Faisal to get the freshest cuts, and he always deliver! Every person we have hosted, Alhamdulilah, has been overwhelmingly delighted by how soft and juicy the steak is. Pictured here is the steak marinating in Korean bbq sauce, but honestly, it needs very little sprucing up since the meat is packed with its own natural flavor already.I recommend you go and get yourself a nice hunk of meat from Faisal - it is absolute perfection for grilling at your next event whether its Eid, Memorial Day, July 4th or at-home fancy dinner!

Every time I get samosa even though they are 6 orders, they always give only one spicy sauce. Sometimes they don’t even give any spicy sauce. Please give us sauce for the orders we get, thanks and happy 4th of July.

I had ordered take out . Chicken tikka masala was sl extremely salty and the chickpea masala was stale. Obviously I had to throw them. I immediately called the merchant and told them about the problem. Instead of offering a refund, they asked me to bring the own back the next day and offer exchange of the same item. Of course that was ridiculous, I didn’t want to drive back just for this. I told them I would rather take a refund which they weren’t keen on. They promised to call me the next evening to settle this after calling manager. It’s been about a week already and I haven’t heard back from them. It is surprising that they argued so much over a stale item. Honestly if I someone is ordering 55$ worth of food , why would a merchant not want to believe in the customer. Very bad customer service. Never going back.

Good selection of groceries. Especially liked the collection of Sri Lankan and Indian tea. I believe this is the place for Sri Lankan tea (Ceylon tea). Its a bit congested, though, especially at the registers.

Great selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. Awesome place to get fresh bread (pita, naan, injera, challah). Lots of interesting beverages. The attached restaurant is AMAZING and Apna Bazar sells some premade samosas (two kinds - chicken and veggie) and baklava that I cant recommend more. Cashiers are always friendly. Only complaint is that it can sometimes be cramped near the register area, but the lines move quickly.

Food is incredible, not necessarily a restaurant but more of a sit down cafe part of an Indian market but the food is so worth it.The serving sizes are large enough to share and the garlic naan is in point. Its been a while but I would have to say this is better than little India in jersey city journal square

Love the inventory here. Their meat is super fresh. Wide variety of mutton, beef, lamb, chicken. They have started to sell lunch meat as well which is super awesome especially their smoked beef. The owners are super nice, the prices are great, especially the vegetable prices. LOVE this place!!!!

I have had a very bad experience here and I found out this place has been stealing and robbing money from long time customers. My advice is to please ALWAYS check your receipt and bag to make sure they do not put extra things on your receipt. I have never really checked my receipt much but the product will have one price, but they will charge us for a lot more. When I brought it up they did not want to remove the extra charges and argued heavily. In the past they have charged me for more than I bought and I believe they have done this to us many more times in the past. The customer service is horrible, very rude and lots of curse words were said to my family who have been long time customers. I do not reccomend this place.

Both the restaurant and grocery are fantastic! Wed moved to Jacksonville about a year ago missed our go-to Pakistani place. Were so thrilled to finally find this spot and enjoy beloved dishes like chicken makhani, daal, etc., followed by picking up grocery staples and treats like fresh produce, pita bread (way fresher and better priced than the chains), and other products you wont find at your big chain groceries. Thank you!

I love this store! Whenever I need ingredients that are hard to find at the regular grocery store I know that theyre going to have them at Apna Bazar. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and they always make sure you get what you need. The prices are excellent for whole spices, you get huge bags for the cost that you would pay at the regular grocery store! You can even get freshly butchered meat here. My husband and I have been shopping here for years and we absolutely love it. Thank you apnabazar for being there.

Didn’t enjoy the food very much . The chicken Tikka Was burnt and SUPER dry . No flavor... the chicken Masala was.. meh . The nan was ok. Will not eat again.

Revising this review. Got sick from the meat from here recently and have many concerns about its halal certification. The meat does not taste fresh. This place has very bad meat quality compared to its sister store in Orlando where the meat is really good.

I love this little Indian restaurant that is tucked away in its adjoining grocery room. The service is top notch and very friendly & welcoming. They have many dishes that are rather tasty & always cooked to order. I also love that they will make dishes spicy even if the regular dish is not originally so.

Everything can be found here under one roof. From spices to halal meats to biscuits, Naans and other things Straight From Pakistan! Its nostalgia in your face

So much expensive, I will never buy again from this store. I bought a pressure cooker for almost $80 and then on the same day, I went to K&Y and saw that same pressure cooker for almost $40. I compare both and they were exactly the same model, size and manufacturer. This is really not fair and they need to stop making people fool to get their money. I want to but really cant rate below one in here. But I strongly recommend you all to compare the price with other competitors.

Hands down best veggie samosas in duval. Made fresh and only 98 cents a piece. They upped their game and have these variety frozen samosas in their freezer section, my two favorites being the lamb one and the jalapeño cheese potato one. The key is to ask for some tamarind sauce from their restaurant part of the store. So good.

My go to place for spices and international ingredients

I bought samosas from Apna Bazaar and before buying I even asked if samosas are fresh and person at cash counter said yes but samosas were horrible and had to throw away.This has happened second time now I bought country chicken from this shop and it was not good at all it was smelling and had to dispose the chicken I think it was from very old outdated stock enough now no more shopping from Apna Bazar.

They got almost all the necessary desi stuff.

Expensive things and stuff close to expiry all the time and can be expired as well. Can get same things at cheaper price and better quality at different store.Please avoid altogether if possible.Also double check the receipt and match with the stuff you bought, few times you might be charged doubled for a single thing.
