I got the galaxy double roasted with extra cream cheese and tomato, a cinnamon glaze with blueberry cream cheese and an onion bagel with bacon, egg and cream cheese. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Delicious bagels. Cream cheese was fluffy, flavorful, not too dense. And generous servings of fluffy, flavorful cream cheese. Try Super Emma even if youre not a big fan of local organic sprouts.

Omg! This bagel shop is really for the locals and the UCSB gauchos but when youre on a vacation and find it, joy! These bagels are enough to last you through lunch if you pick the right one. The habenero sauce is bomb. I dont know where the turkey lived before it was on my sandwich but she lived good. I could taste it! Bravo IV Bagel Shop

I went there yesterday ordered a garlic bagel with jalapeño spread. The bagel was nothing special which is to be expected, the spread is where the magic is. except for being jalapeño this had a minus 5 on the flavor scale. no spice what so ever and it tasted almost sour like the cream cheese was bad. I ate two bites and threw away the rest.The worst part were the two girls behind the counter. First it states you must wear a mask when you enter. so I walked all the way back to my car to get mine. then upon entering there was a guy, who already had his food, that the girls obviously new and were chatting it up. he wasnt wearing a mask.. fine no biggie. then one girl took my order went back to chatting and then when the guy started coughing I just walked out for a bit. came back in after a few minutes and I think she remembered I had an order and finally started it. fine, what ever, just give me my food so I can leave. the kicker was that they started to get busy and the other girl was still talking to the guy. She was wearing gloves and scratching her hair and playing with the backs of her earrings, and at one point picked at a bump on her face. then the guy realized she needed to get back to work and she turned around and STARTED MAKING FOOD!!! didnt change her gloves. I couldnt stand it and I told her that the whole purpose to wearing gloves is to keep the part that touches food clean, and that touching your hair and face isnt sanitary. I used to own a cafe and this would be a health code violation. she said okay and turned around and KEPT MAKING FOOD. uck!! only go there if like licking other peoples faces.

The bagel was fresh and delicious. Definitely one of the best.

Payed extra for extra toppings and didn’t get them. Also, the flavor was mediocre and the workers didn’t seem to care at all.

Usually this place is pretty solid, but today we were in a rush so we called to place an order. They said they can’t take orders on the phone and that we need to order online. So we do that, hoping the bagels will be ready when we get there 20 minutes later. We were the only customers and the guy had obviously not started with our order at all. He told us it would be 4 minutes (though we had to wait 10) and then the order ended up being wrong in the end. So overall terrible experience. Don’t go if you need food quickly

I usually stop by about once a week for a latte you guys have the best lattes/espresso in Isla Vista, however today’s visit it was awful tasted bad just way too bitter, If I didn’t have to rush to work, I would have gone back and said something. It was bad enough not having any raw sugar packets, but the espresso was just not how it normally is, please fix this

I really like this place, the bagels are amazing, BUT literally every other time I order they get it completely wrong. Employees don’t know their own menu very well. If you order the Nutty Banana, chances are you will get the Hana Banana instead!

Placed an online order at 9:50, waited in line for an hour, received 2 bagels and 2 coffees at 11. 👎🏻

Legendary bagels. Im not into bagels, even when I lived in NYC they seemed mostly uninteresting. The super deluxe melt without onions on an everything bagel at Bagel Cafe is the best way to combat a Sunday morning hangover. It is also the only bagel I get excited about. It changed my perception about bagels, maybe it can change your perception about bagels, or about life? Maybe the super deluxe melt is the solution to achieve world peace...

Fast service and good sized portions. Very friendly and accommodating staff and the menu has something for everyone. The bagels are a little dense for my taste, but the toppings are great. Good tomatoes and a reasonable amount of lox on the Hampton and the Slammin Salmon, both of which are great. If the bagels were as good as my wifes, this would be a 5 star review...

Bagel Cafe should be a place everyone stops at when they are nearby. The bagels are made fresh daily, and all of the toppings are always fresh as well. There are so many different flavors of bagel as well as cream cheese, so you can always try something different if you want to. My favorite item to get is the super Emma, which is topped with cream cheese, avocado, cheddar cheese, sprouts, and lemon pepper. They also have a rewards program where you can get a free bagel after a certain number of visits!

Here from out of town. Looking for vegan bagels. Any without cheese are vegan so thats nice. Had a hummus special. Really good bagel. A little sloppy with some extra hummus on the outside of the bagel but thats why you lick your fingers. I will be back every morning for the duration of my work trip.

Some of the best bagels Ive ever had, especially if you get some that are still hot. Prices are pretty good for IV too. Its a little cramped but that kind of adds to its charm of a college hole in the wall.

Best bagels in IV. Sometimes the line can be terribly long but they have online ordering. The online ording can be hit and miss though. They have ruined some of my online orders and I havent ever been refunded.

Used to be good. Eggle used to come with cream cheese. If you do go bring your own cream cheese because adding it is $1.75. you can buy a tub of it at the store for that price.

The service was incredible, coffee was way too hot, so were the servers, and they were able to modify around my lactose intolerance. A bit pricey and a bit of a line would be my only complaints if I were to complain, which Im not.

Bagel sandwiches are amazing here and the staff are great! Only thing that could be improved is the coffee which is pretty bitter and burnt tasting.

I get the slamming salmon on pumpernickel 95% of the time. Sometimes I get one of those daily deal emails from them and I think Oh, I guess I know whats for breakfast today. Its great motivation for getting out of bed.

The line will be out the door at brunch times, and for good reason: this place is the ultimate in hangover cure brunchy goodness. Carbs? Check. Cheese? Check. Greasy breakfast meats? Check.

I wanted a dozen poppy seed bagels. I told the cashier Id like a dozen poppy seed bagels. The cashier looked at me funny, like he didnt know people ordered bagels by the dozen. After asking me to clarify my request a few times, he talked with someone in the back, and eventually they told me didnt have enough poppy seed bagels to sell me. I left disappointed.The eggels are good though.
